[[Yay! Tld! *glomp* Ignore my thing about Jay's date being a model. That's when the pairing was different. :P And yeah, they're all meeting at the same restaurant. I have a feeling Aryia and Jay are gonna have an interesting date with that snake around <3 

And on the topic of snakes again: Cobra's are awesome, mainly cuz I have an obsession with Arboc from Pokemon xDD]] 

[[Ahahaha, Jay better not have a fear of snakes D:< Ugh, this computer is AWFUL. It's like the text moves around, I'll be typing normally then the word I'm typing squeezes itself into another part of my paragraph.

Eh, I'm out of the Pokemon craze. But I'm interested in the whole new DS versions of HeartGold and SoulSilver. There's a new one, right? White and Black? I think I shall make Aryia's snake a de-fanged monocle cobra. So thar, harmless 8D]]

Aryia poked her head into the cafe she was supposed to meet her date in. "Pretty!" She murmured, glancing down at her pocket, which was shifting. She tapped it. "Don't move, Monoply!" She hissed. The pocket stopped shifting, but a curious scaly head popped out. "You're gonna get us thrown out." Aryia sighed, but smiled and patted the snake's head. She nervously walked in, trying to act cool and detached. After informing the waiter that she would like a seat for two, Aryia sat down and crossed her legs. "Hm... hope he's not late." Aryia muttered, wondering if she should eat before her date came. "Stupid friends." Aryia muttered. "Shouldn't have let them talk me into it."

Monoply's head poked out again. Aryia grinned at him, stroking his head.

[[Ah, the impossible-ness of a girl owning a cobra, no matter how harmless it is.]]

[[He doesn't, but Monoply probably will startle him at first. :P

And yeah the new versions are awesome <3 and there's a new generation coming out in september. ^^]]

A small tap on Jay's shoulder caused him to turn around to see who it was and blinked. It was one of the waiters.

"Excuse me, sir," the waiter said, "but I think your date has arrived." He pointed to a table that a young redish-haired girl was sitting at. 

Jay blinked and looked in the direction the waiter was pointing. The woman certainly looked like someone his co-worker would try to set him up with, so it was possible. But what if she wasn't? Then he'd look like a complete idiot...

The waiter patted him on the back and gave him a slight nudge when he saw Jaw hesitate and Jay walked over to the table, clearing his throat to get her attention.

"Excuse me," he said shyly, "but are you maybe waiting for someone?"  

[[I'm just saying. If Jay bashes Monoply, Aryia shall bash his head... -smiles sweetly- :]

New generation? The whole, White and Black? I looked at the covers only, and I don't know the Legendary Pokemon names, but the black-colored one looks AWESOME : D]]

Aryia turned around when she heard someone clear his throat. "Oh yes, I am waiting for someone!" She replied immediately. She hoped this person wouldn't find her stupid when she told him her reason. "Um, I'm waiting for a blind date my friends set me up with." She said, fiddling with her fingers. She felt Monoply stop slithering around her pocket.

'Ah, geez.' She thought. 'If anyone other than my date tries to pick me up...' She felt herself unconsciously crack her knuckles. 'Dead meat.' She glanced at her pocket and felt monoply look back. 'Heehee. Dead meat.' She repeated.

[[Eh, I thought the post was a little bit short, so I had to beef it up a little.]]

Jason's ex
pression brightened when she heard the woman was also on a blind date. Still, that didn't mean they were set up by the same person. "Is your friend a blond woman with shoulder length hair and brown eyes and is a bit... um, you know," he made a twirling motion wit his finger beside his head, the sign for calling someone crazy. He frowned, looking a bit nervous. He probably looked stupid to her and wanted nothing more then to just leave and forget about this, but he knew his co-worker would have his head if she found out he ditched.

[[Eh, I don't know who set up who, so I'll just go along XD Zekrom... Hrrr, Pokemon is really changing its artsy style.]]

Aryia's eyes lit up. "Yes, that's her!" She smiled at his deion. Aryia held out her hand for the guy to shake. "My name is Aryia, what's yours?" She grinned, glad to see that her date wasn't late.

[[Lol, sorry xD and yeah they are. They legendaries are starting to look a bit more machine-like. Some people hate it, but I think it fits because they are from other dimensions.]]

Jay took her hand, shaking it politely before sitting down across from her. No use backing down now, he'd really be decapitated if he did. "My name's Jason, or Jay if you prefer." he introduced. He clutched his hands together under the table, unsure how to start off the conversation.

[[So am I, o3o you could make Monoply do something xD and sound fun.]] 

[[Really? I think they're starting to look shiny-bloblike. Hoho.]]

Aryia tilted her head. "Good day to you, Jay." She said. "I suppose this would be your  first blind date?" She asked, hoping to ignite a conversation. This guy seemed really nervous. "And--" She was cut off when she heard a hissing sound emit from her pocket. "Um, waiter?" Aryia lifted her hand up in the air.

A man approached them. "Yes, miss?" He asked. "I would like a lamb chop, please." Aryia smiled sweetly at the waiter. The man nodded, and went off to the kitchen to alert the chief. "Um, sorry. I'm really... hungry." Aryia lied, hoping that this would convince the guy.

[[Thar you go. XD]]

Jay nodded slightly to show it was, jolting slightly when he heard something that sounded like a hiss coming from across the table. At first he was ready to dismiss it off as his mind playing tricks on him--a little too much time working on a computer could do that to a person, but when Aryia suddenly called a waiter over and order a lamb chop, he raised an eyebrow in suspicion, frowning slightly at the lie she made up. It was kind of disappointing that she thought that could fool him so easily. "Is... is something up?" he asked cautiously, wondering if she would tell him if he just asked.

[[Not too sure, but they seem blobbier than usual. -is not making sense-. Plus, they've stopped doing those 'Legendary Animal' things. Like the three birds, the three dogs, are there more?]]

When Jay asked the question, a waiter brought over a plate of steaming lamb chops. Aryia was about to tell him it was no big deal, when Monoply's head popped out, enticed by the scent of the chops. He hissed in pleasure. Aryia yelped, surprised that Monoply was that hungry.

Jason jolted back in surprise. A snake, of all things, was not something he'd expected to see. In fact, he was so surprised to see the reptile that he just stood there staring at it, a blank ex
pression on his face. After a few seconds, he got his words together and finally managed to speak. "I think a snake just came out of your pocket." he said blankly. 

[[Victini? Sounds exoootic 8D Pretty?]]

Aryia paused for a second, and started to laugh. "Ah, yes." She petted Monoply's head. "I  have a pet snake." She smiled, hoping that the problem would blow over. Monoply sank his mouth into the lamb chop, as he happily swallowed the entire thing's . "He's de-fanged, so it's pretty safe." She explained. "I hope you're not afrai--" She was cut off by a squeal from a waiter. "No animals! No animals!" He was jumping up and down. "Uh-oh." Aryia mutthe ered. She got up, then paused. "Come on." She took Jay's arm and leapt for the door. Aryia paused again, and handed the waiter money for the lamb chop. "Here!" She said cheerily, and ran out the door, with her hand still attached to Jay.

Jay was too busy staring at the jumping waiter to notice Aryia grabbing his arm until he was practically yanked out of his chair by her, causing him to yelp, and promptly dragged out of the restaurant. He blinked once his brain registered what had just happened and laughed slightly. "Well that certainly didn't go as planned, now did it?" he said, giving her a smile.

She turned around to face Jay and grinned. "Heehee, I hope you aren't starving." She replied, and noticed that her hand still had a firm grip on Jay's arm. Aryia released him as soon as she noticed, slightly blushing in embara-ssment. "Well, where to?" She asked, looking around. Monoply's head was peeping out through her pocket, gazing at his surroundings curiously.

Jay shook his head. "No, I don't each much--gamer's habit." he answered. He could go for days without food and not even notice. Maybe that's why most of his co-workers were worried about his health. When she let go of his arm, he stood up straight, unable to see her blush in the fading light, and looked around as well. "Hmm... I dunno." he said, "Anythings fine with me if you have a preference." His first idea was to go to the park, but that probably wasn't the best idea considering some of the teenagers in the city.
