A loud bang echoed about the room from where ever the thing may be, followed by the bone shuttering clicking noise once more before the noise ceased... "I-I-It's taunting us." Carolyn squeaked backing into the wall... shrinking down into a ball and clutching her head in her palms... she trembled as tears flowed from her cheeks. Drake swallowed and came to his sister, rubbing her shoulder comfortingly, "At least try and talk to it..." he said, in an unusually strong tone.

"Yes, now would be a good time to call that number!" Ebony said as her voice rose. "Isis, what are you doing?" She asked looking at the girl walked towards a different room. Isis ignored the question and began to look around the house almost as if she was looking for something. "I know there has to be one somewhere around here." Isis whispered pulling random things out of shelves and cabinets. |

Carolyn followed, "If your looking for a secret entrance... I'll help you look..." she said, racing to the other side of the room and tearing books from the shelves. Drake sighed and swallowed, He handed his phone to ebony and gave her the paper to dial the number... "ask yukita for information, we must stay in small groups at the least." he ran after the girls and turned things over, even peeling wallpaper from the walls.

"I dont think it will do any good but I will try. Just call that number, they might beable to help us." She hissed turning her eyes to the ceiling. "Morana! Quit playing your games, before we get to the killing part, I wish to talk to you. We both need to explain a few things, listen, I will even go back to my human form. Though it probably doesnt matter to you anyway." Yukita said the last part at a whisper, gulping silently. She had no idea what Morana would do, though it wouldnt surprise her if the Gryffin refused and killed her any minute.

Ebony dialed the number and listened as the phone rang a few times and on the last ring someone answered. "Hello?" Someone answered. Ebony was about to say something when she realized how weird it would sound to someone if a random person started asking you a bunch of questions. She looked over at Yukita and listened as the girl gave another 'hello' only this one was mroe questioning. Isis continued search through the house. |

Carolyn rounded a corner and opened the vent, feeling inside and clutching a small lever... she rose an eyebrow and trembled as she twisted it upward...the cobwebs entangled in her fingers and a creak noise rang in her ears. She stood and stared where the wall indented... she slid the wall and found a narrow pas.sage... she went in and found herself in a large room... with stairs on the opposite end... "Guys I foun-" she began to call... before her own hideous shriek echoed about the room... she collapsed to the ground, covered in her own blood... she kept shrieking, "HELP! DRAKE, EBONY, ISIS, YU---" she shrieked again, a deep pool of blood forming around her... she saw it dye the boards and trickle out the door... suddenly a large force began to drag her... ever so slowly, up the stairs... blood poured from her body where the thing gripped her, and she screamed for help even louder... fear was taking over, she struggled and kicked, not able to free herself. She heard the crunch as her legs shattered, one hanging by nearly a piece of flesh.... she couldnt see her attacker. She screamed again, as the candle's ligh began to disappear. Drake whipped around, he raced to his sister, fear taking over his hear, he saw the blood run from the pas.sage

Yukita moved infront of Drake, shaking her head. "You wont want to see what has been done to her." She said simply her features returning to the beautiful girl as she turned to go through the pas.sage. "Morana, you didnt have to do that. She was just a little girl, have you no heart. Even she is too young to die that way. What has caused you so much pain that you feel the need to torture before you kill. It seems a little off, even for you." She sighed, taking another step forward.

Isis whipped around and began to run towards the pas.sage. She looked down as blood puddled around her feet and stained her shoes. Not waiting for look and see what was attacking Carolyn she ran after the girl and up the stairs barely able to see with the pale candle light. "Carolyn?" she called and listened as her voice rang through the narrow pas.sage. She gulped hoping that she wouldn't end up find the young girl ripped to peices or anything like the boy in the theatre, but she pushed the thought away.

Drake felt fury come to his face as he stood in a pool of Carolyn's blood. He fell to his knees blood soaking into his jeans... for some reason, he couldnt cry... he clenched his fists so the whites of the skin was showing. He whipped around, splattering the crimson liquid about the room... "She is calling for me... I have to save her!" he screamed. He didnt acknowledge Isis... Carolyn's shrieks echoed about the halls for several moments...before all was silent. Drake fell back to his knees in the silence, lowering his head and arms to the ground, not caring if the blood wet him... he trembled slightly and felt as if he had failed.

"You couldnt help her, so stop feeling dprry for yourself. The moment she had entered that pas.sage she was doomed. The minute Morana set eyes on her she was dead. Thats the way it works, and it has taken me a long time to get used to the killing part." Yukita said not looking baack at Drake. "Immortals are too strong and smart to be beaten by a human alone. Especially her, so keep your gaurd up at all times." She snarled looking down at the blood, putting some on her finger and placing it in her mouth. Surprisingly it tasted good to her, and that made her feel guilty, but she couldnt keep from letting out a sigh of indulgence.

Isis froze as the shreiks stopped. She shivered as it felt like spiders were weaving ice webs up and down her back and for a little while she felt like she couldn't breath. She swayed back and forth as she imagined that being her own sister's screams and cries and closed her eyes. She turned around and began to walk back down the stair. Ebony dropped the phone as she heard scream and shreiks and ran to the other room not sure of what happened. "What is going on?" She asked looking down at the blood and then She looked inside the pas.sage. "Isis! Are you okay?" She called. "I'm fine." Isis answered in a stern voice trying not to show any emotion in it. |

Drake stood up and left the room without another word... his eyes on the ground... he peeled off his blood soaked shirt and threw it in the kitchen sink... he ran the water through it and splashed his own face...."This is a nightmare...I'll wake up any moment." he swallowed, trying to convince himself...it never worked. He emerged from the kitchen and scanned the cieling, sitting at the table and staring at the letter Harrison wrote all those years ago...

"Wait...Didn't Carolyn say she found that on the seventh floor or something? Maybe there is something that can help us up there." Ebony said walking back over to the phone. The girl on the other end had already hung up, but she didn't care about calling the number anymore.

"Moran would have thought of that. I've told you before, anything you come up with, she is 10 steps ahead. Get that through your thick skulls." Yukita grumpled, bending down to drink up a little more of the blood. "Now I know why Aki likes the stuff." She laughed, wiping the red liquid off of her face, it was still slightly warm.
