ooc; happy endings? pshaw, who needs those? XP

"Forever?" Dare laughed, "You don't know the half of it."  An ungodly shrieking  filled the air. Tara hissed, clapping her hands over her sensitive ears. Tessa looked up, running the few paces to Dare. "What is that!" she yelled over the cacophony of noise. Dare kept his eyes to the sky. Tara moaned stamping her foot. "Damn, its the Valkyrie."Dare nodded solemnly.

ooc; OK! action, I am adding this in, beacuse something needs to happen. Basically, the Valkyrie are experiments made be the government before everything got to bad. They are 1 third human, one thrid Hunter, and one third Killer. They have wings, they can fly, and they are totally uncontrolable. They defeat Killers. So, thats it!

"Damn." Zoey cursed, sighing. "It didn't work." "What didn't work? Nothing happened." James asked, confused. "exactly." Zoey answered. She felt her knees start to go out from under her and grabbed onto James' shirt automatically. "oops!" James scooped her back up before she fell. She didn't resist this time. She's done... He thought.

"Andrew." Araian stated, starring through the trees as they traveled. "Ariana." Andrew answered, his eyes were closed. She hated when he answered her with a question. "Do you hear that?" She asked, not taking her eys off of the opening two miles to the right from where they were heading. "Yes." Andrew replied simply, he knew that she was referring to the group nearby.

"How long have you been aware of their presence?" She asked, dragging her eyes away from the opening and looking at him from the corner of her eye. "A while." She breathed in and let it out without replying. "Why didn't you tell me there where there?" She asked, she always felt like she supplied most of the conversations. All Andrew ever said was short and simple. "There was no need to."

"Can we go play?" She asked.

OOC: Tragedies ftw :P But wait... Hunters kill Killers and Killers kill Hunters [and humans] so the Valkyre... Could they [with your permission] sort of be kind of insane and kill everything except their own species? O.o

OOC: -headdesk- Phailure on my part. My brain didn't catch that. >.< I blame school for frying my brain. I have finals coming up next week which is why I haven't been roleplaying as often, nor have my posts been as good. Ugghh...

BiC: Cedric felt as though he had been hit with a brick. The Valkyrie... Those beasts... They were part of his past, something he did not want to remember nor dwell on. His eyes were glazed over with anger and sadness. Of course the past had nothing to do with the life he led now... It was just a painful memory. Trinity noticed the look in Cedric's eye and said nothing. When Cedric felt like telling her about his past, he would do so in his own time.

Squall had been enjoying the moment with Dare when the name "the valkyrie" popped up. Squall felt a sudden icy hand clutch at his heart. The strange beast that was neither human, nor hunter, nor killer... But a mix of all. Squall almost smiled; he was neither Killer nor Hunter... He wasn't human either. He was something else as well. Not a Valkyrie though... he thought.

The sound came nearer. Tara moaned, she could pratically feel the wing beat against her skin. Every second they where getting closer. Three of them. One was enough in her opinion, they might win. But with three, they might not beat them.

Tessa stood on edge, each of ehr new found senses where yelling at her to run. Everything told her to flee this place. Dare put a hand on her shoulder, stopping her retreat. "Hold strong girlie, we need you, we need all of us."  Tessa nodded, this was not going to be pretty. Dare walking into the middle of the clearing, tensed, and leaped. Flinging himslef into theair, he hit a Valkyrie as it was visible. They fell to the ground, twisting and turning. Tessa braced herself for more, they could do this, they could totally do this. Unfortunitally, her lie didn't even convince herself.

ooc; ok, three people, three Valkyrie. Pick one and just control them. I call the one Dare is battling it out with. 

"Zoey?" There was an edge to his voice, "What are the Valkyrie?" He asked. Zoey fisically sagged, "Really? What hole have you been hiding in?" Zoey raged, throwing daggers at him with her eyes. James shrugged, playing it off. "The Valkyrie are... different. They're neither Killer, Hunter, or Human but a mixture of the three. They have wings so its easy to tell them apart from everyone else though." Zoey explained.

"So... do we run? Fight?" James asked. "Fight of course. I don't run away." Zoey answered. "I meant are they the enemy and you can't even move! How do you expect to fight these guys?" James asked, raising his voice for the first time since Zoey had met him. It surprised her, but it was a good question. I could always NO I'll never do it again... She thought.

 James shook her a little, trying to get her to answer him. "I wont run." Zoey said at last and James sighed. "Im getting you out of here unless you tell me how you can fight." Damn... Zoey thought. "Well, theres one way-" James cuther off. "Well do it!" James started to panic as a Valkyrie came into view. "Calm down!" Zoey snapped, then the Valkyrie went down. "Give me your wrist, I'll explain later." Zoey commanded.

James did sowithout hesitation, "Ok. But I don't understand why you nee- EW! Did you just lick me?!" James exclaimed, pulling his arm away. "Don't be such a little kid." Zoey exclaimed, grabbing his wrist again. She bit down hard, making James freeze with both shockand pain as the realization of what she'd just done took over. Zoey felt the strength come back to her, it was like cold water rushing through her body. She let go of his wrist only after she saw it starting to heal itself.

"Wh-wh-wh...??!" James sputtered. "I'll explain later." She said,turning around as two more Valkyrie came into view. They were, of course, coming over the tree tops. (( I'm just gonna *censored*ume they look like Ryuk from death note ^_^ -> pic below <- )) She waited until one made eye contact with her, and she took control of his mind. Land beside me. Obey me. The Valkyrie landed beside her, folding his wings and hunching over. "Yesssssss?" He asked, cocking his head completely to the side, waiting for her to tell him what to do. Zoey smiled, a crazy touch to her eyes, the Valkyrie copied her smile.

"Just sit tight. I'll think of something." The Valkyrie took her words to heart and fell back, sitting with his extremly long legs straight out in front of him.

Andrew and Ariana hear the Valkyrie at the same time and froze in their tracks. Ariana looked at Andrew pleadingly, she wanted to know what was going on, she had been in a fight for the longest time. "Andrew..." Whined, looking up at Andrew. Andrew sighed, "Fine. But when I say the word, we walk." He said, a note of finality in his deepvoice.

 Ariana skipped, skiming brightly. Andrew loved her smile though he would never admit to it. She skipped slightly ahead of him, swinging her arms out to the sides humming slightly. They came within a hundred feet of the small group, looking down from the trees.

Ariana watched, amazed, as the Valkyrie swooped toward the group. She was disappointed when it went down though, she was injoying the intertainment. Andrew on the other hand was watching Zoey intently, she was an interesting one indeed. Feeding from the Male Hunter when she is a Hunter herself. "Hmmm..." And then she was able to control a Valkyrie with a single glance. He had to admit he was impressed, that was no small feat though she made it look like it was.

(( Oh, please dont make a Hunter/Killer/Human that con control people just like Zoey... that would kinda suck. >_< Thanks! ))
