Breeze snarled angrily and pulled away from him. She stood, the fur along her spine bristling with anger. And why should I trust you? You waltz in here and act like boss, just because you know more about any of this than we do. Her eyes narrowed and her lips pulled back to bare her fangs. I don't like being ordered around. You're not the boss of me. So just stay away. All of you! She turned and ran through the forest, a frustrated howl escaping from her throat.

Creo couldn't help it, he threw his head and howled back. He didn't mean to act like a boss, he was only trying to get the others to understand, was only trying to explain. He whined to himself, his head dropping in sadness.

"Someone's moody," Alyssa grumbled, shifting back into Myth with much more ease this time. Being a wolf was cooler than being human, she decided. She liked the way things were in Myth's point of view better. And she thought she was more graceful; pretty as a wolf. The thought made her smile. "Hey, hey, it's all right," Myth said to Creo after she noticed how upset he looked. She nudged him with her muzzle, trying to cheer him up. "You're just showing everyone how it works. I think she's just in denial."
We fell through the ice when we tried not to slip.

Now that he had mentioned it, Myth realized that she was kind of hungry, too. "But...I don't have any idea how to, you know..." She looked down. "Hunt." The idea of killing animals right then and there made her sad, and partially disgusted. Although, thinking about it made her mouth water...ew. Gross.

Breeze finally slowed down to a trot, anger and fear pulsating in her sensative ears. Right now, she was so mad she felt like she could kill something. In fact... Breeze sniffed the air. Meat. She could smell meat. She lifted her nose to the wind and sniffed again. The smell wafted through the trees. If she believed in heaven, and not the Wiccan Summerland, she would have said that it smelled like heaven. Breeze wandered through the trees, heading towards the scent. Soon she came upon a trashcan which had been tipped over by raccoons, who fled the scene at the sight of her. The wolf began to drool as she caught sight of the ribs that had caught her attention. All that barbeque... Yum. She began to rip large chunks off, barely stopping to chew them. "Hey! There's a mutant dog in the trash!" A porchlight turned on, and then a BANG rang out. Breeze yelped as sudden pain flared in her left shoulder. She turned her head to look and nearly fainted at the sight of blood. Another BANG rang out. Breeze's ears flattened against her head as the bullet whizzed past her. She turned and fled back into the trees, pain and loss of blood causing black dots to swim across her vision.

Creo picked up his head. Gun shots. He couldn't stop his run as he heard Breeze yelp in pain. He skidded to a halt in front of BReeze, his hackles held high as he snarled at the men. He ran over to one, taking his ankle in his jaw and biting until he felt the bone snap. "You okay?" |

Breeze glared at him. I'm fine, she said after a few moments. But I don't know how I'll explain all this blood to my mom. I'm Breeze, by the way. Alice Dunn in my human form. Her tail whipped back and forth angrily, as if it had a mind of its own.

Breeze would have scowled if she'd been in her human form. Well, I think it is. So I guess I'm screwed. Her eyes narrowed in irritation. This is juuuuust great. She looked at Creo appreciatively. Thanks for helping me.
