Edit - Almost has heart attack. I go and check the Stock Market and boy was I surprised. FRE was at 681, I sold my 50k of shares and got this much TU -> 34,034,980 It's the most I've ever gotten from one stock before. T^T I'm so happy.)) |

((OMG, the best movie EVER!!!!!!!! If you haven't seen The Avengers, I mightily suggest you do. When you do, stay to the very end, after the credits. There's a second special scene. It's funny. This is officially my fave new movie.))
I stepped lightly on the snow, trying hard to not make a sound. Just mere feet away stood an otter-penguin. Thinking about its fatty meat made me drool. The otter-penguin turns away from me and prepares to head up a small incline. Seeing this as an opportunity, I run out and tackle the otter-penguin to the ground. My blade is out and its alarmed squeal is cut off short. I thank the spirits for this meal and pick the lifeless body up, placing it on my shoulder. It has been a while since I killed the otter-penguin and started to head back. However, I do not see my home, nor any signs of my pack. I should of seen some sign by now... I place the carcass on the frozen ground and say, "I'm lost. Just great..." I guess I'd been too careful hiding myself while hunting, that I'd gone and lost my bearings. I let out a loud whistle and it lasts as long as my breath. I sit down on the snowy ground and rest while I wait for fink to arrive.
Ojike had made a successful kill just shortly after she left to hunt. When she returned she didn't see Forra and asked one of her pack-mates, where she'd gone. He told her that she'd left just moments after her, to hunt. Ojike walked over to a small cave and placed her kill with the others. There wasn't much, but that was soon to change. The pack had only recently arrived, just a few days ago in this area and today we made this place our shelter. Ojike decides to head to her and Forra's den, to wait for her return. Just a few hours later a distant whistle call echoed. it was quiet, which meant Forra was far away and lost, again. Ojike looks outside and watches Fink as he flies above, heading in the direction it came from.
Fink was playing in the snow, his thick coat of fur and feathers keeping him insulated. His head shot up when he heard Forra's whistle, she was calling him. He quickly gets up, runs a few feet, flaps his stretched out wings and takes flight. He knows this would take, more or less, an hour to reach and decides to whistle a tune. The song he chose was a travelers tune he'd picked up while passing over some earth nomads while exploring at their last home. It consisted of mostly low, but cheery tunes and was one of his favorites.
"I hate the cold." I say through chattering teeth. "Why did the pack have to come here of all places!" I yell to no one in particular. Rinku let out a low hiss like bark, telling me she's spot something. Just up ahead was a village. I can feel Rinku shiver from the cold. If I'd known the closest village was so far, I'd of bought more materials and something to keep Rinku warm at the last village. "We'll stop here and get you nice and warm. I'll gather some information while we're there and we'll head out tomorrow." We reach the village and I pat her neck before I got off. A small thank you echoes in the back of my mind as my shoes touch the snow. I'd remembered to put my shoes on before we left the last village and I was relieved I did. Some of the villagers were starting to come out and now gave me and Rinku odd looks. An elderly man came up to me and asked me my buisness. "It's none of your concern what my personal business is." Rinku made a worried whimper and I quickly add, "However, I'm in need of materials and some padding to keep my Eel Hound warm. Do you know of a vendor who sells what I need?" The man nods his head and I fallow him to a shop.
Rinku tried not to shake from the cold, but her body denied this and trembled. Luffy reassured her and she almost panicked when he started to yell at the man. Rinku follows him to a shop, where a man looks at him then Rinku and quickly gets to work. He sizes Rinku's feet, legs, chest, belly, neck, head and even her tail. He then heads inside his shop and starts to work. Rinku's feet were sore from the cold and she had to lay down. She goes over to a large mat that had been laid out and lays down. Luffy comes over and sits beside her. She licks his cheek, but he doesn't react. His eyes show that he's in a deep thought.
((This was fun to write. As you can see, the animals are in third person and the people are in first. This will be the order I write my characters. I won't always write the animals, I just did it now since it's my intro.))

((Sorry, I'm currently working on that in my writing. I had to go back through seven pages and fix all past tense stuff to first tense. I'll go back and fix it though.))

[[I'll post a little thing with those "Are you sure it's her?" people. ^^ I can't write in first so sorry if it's a bit confusing.]]
It had been a long, cold journey. As they walked up to the door and knocked, the door was opened by a waterbender. "Are you sure it's her? We've seen a lot of people and come a long way. We don't need wasted time."
------------------------------------------------ "Time to feed the Elephant Koi." Feeding the Elephant Koi was an extremely hard task, consideing the size of them and their food, Giant Flies. It was fun the way he did it, though. Vega climbed onto the Giant Flies's back. "Take the ropes off!"The ropes on the struggling Koi were untied, and it flew above the Elephant Koi enclosure. "C'mon and get it!" Suddenly, a Elephant Koi jumped up to eat the fly. Vega was a BloodBender, which ment he could control other's bodies. It helped when feeding the animal, it also meant he could waterbend. When the Koi's mouth was about to close, Vega jumped into the water and swam to the wall, making a wall of water elevate him up. "Sir! Sir!" A urgent voice called out. "Please. I told you to call me Vega." He answered "It's urgent. The Sirshu has escaped!" "THE SIRSHU?! I though I said to put that on very high security!" Vega ran toward where the Sirshu enclosure is. He spotted the Sirshu swinging it's head with it's tounge flailing around."Throw the perfume!" If Sirshus were surrounded by perfume, their small sense of smell would make them unable to see. Pots were thrown arround it. Vega ran toward it to deliver the final pot of perfume on it's nose. As he was throwing it, the Sirshu's barbed tounge hit him in the chest. "Put it back in the-" He collapsed, paralyzed but able to think.

"Her?" I asked incredulously. "Excuse me sirs, but I am the only one who lives her." I folded my arms and leaned against the door post, looking at them with hazel eyes. "And, unless you think I'm the avatar, you can leave." I wandered back inside, motioning for them to come on in. I knew what they wanted. They wanted to know if I was the avatar. They had tests for me. I was ready, but I didn't think it would be me. I was 16 already, too late to start my training, if, indeed, I was the avatar. Suddenly, I flicked into my nonchalant attitude and my eyes glazed over as I began to heat up the water for tea.
When the tea was ready, I picked it up and took it to where they were sitting down (hope that wasn't powerplaying) and poured them cups of tea, before sitting down myself. "I apologize for my behavior earlier. I've had tests and passed them, but am always passed by." I mumbled and then stared at a wall, thinking of my parents. I had been better lately, less absent-minded, but I couldn't help what I was. I had a dream the night before and it was about my parents. They were in danger, but because they were gone, I had no way of knowing whether or not it was true...

SteppED is past tense because of the 'ed', but turnS is present tense because of the 's' and prepareS is also present tense because of the 's'. That's all I am saying, sorry to bother you. It was good post otherwise.))

My ears picked up on a low shree as I tilted my head in multiple directions. I tried to zero in as best I could. The shree became louder for a moment as I tried a new angle. My head shot up with a grin placed widely on it. I looked behind me and moved mt index and middle finger towards me. I heard a quiet beat that would have been silent for any not-so-tuned-in ears. My head turned back to the sound, my nose pointed directly at it. I pointed to it with a long, bony finger. I didn't even look up to know who was causing those almost silent beats above me. I heard another shree, but it was cut short. Not a moment later my red friend was standing in front of my face.
"Good boy, Amous!" I whispered, again, too quiet for any other ears but mine and Amous'. I watched as my breath dispersed on Amous' pulled tight feathers. I worked both my hands out from under my snow frozen body and grabbed the armadillo-rabbit in Amous' frozen feet. I felt him let go of his newest prey as I touched it.
"Why thank you, sir." I said in my silent voice. Amous churred in happiness. "C'mon!" I whispered and held out my arm. Amous hopped onto my arm-cuff as I stood up out of the snow. I looked down at the almost undisturbed snow. Only a tiny indentation here and there could be seen of my hunting post.
"Are you cold, my boy?" I asked my bird. He let out another churr for yes. I held out my other hand and started a flame. I held it close to Amous and I. We both knew it wouldn't burn us, but it gave us heat. I walked silently on the perfect snow, leaving no foot prints behind.
It must have been at least two miles or so before I was any signs of civilization. But as soon as I did, I put my flame out. I let out a small whistle and Amous flew up to my shoulder. Contrary to popular fire bender style, I was wearing the usual Water bender garb. I supposed that was why no one gave me much trouble around these parts.
"Ahoy, lad!" I heard a voice call to me from a shop. "Come in, Kit, come in!" The voice said. My footsteps hastened as I began running towards the voice. I didn't give the old man any time to brace himself before I wrapped him in an enormous bear-hug.
"It's good to see you too, Kit. Good to see you." The man grinned as I released him from my hold. "Long time no see, eh?" He asked me. I nodded, but said nothing. As usual. "Well,

It was strange. The Sirshu had never acted like this toward him. Though Sirshus were quite wild, he had a bond with it. He usually could control it. "Don't worry boss. We have the antidote." A small vial of liguid was injected into him. Vega regained his ability to move again. "Did you get the Sirshu back into the enclosure?" Vega asked."Yes." "Did you notice anything..... off or unusual about it?" Vega had to make sure it wasn't sick or anything. "It seemed more agitated. Probably just a headache." Vega hoped that was it.

"I can bend water." I lifted my hands to pull the water from the ground, but instead, fire came shooting up, melting my house a tiny bit. I leapt back and yelped in surprise, before going back to my calm demeanor and staring off into space. "That's never happened before..." I muttered to myself...
