Erin nodded, her oddly-coloured eyes alight. "I'm from the Northern Water Tribe." She said. "I decided to travel and learn other fighting techniques." She decided to be vague, but not outright lie.
She let her hood fall back, and felt the sun on her face immediately. I miss the snow. She thought, wincing at the brightness. "Alright. Let's get started. I'll just use my hands because I think my axe is too dangerous for practice." She ran her finger along the silver blade, inscribed with 'Carnage' out of habit.
She glanced at Ash, then back at Aurora. "So who am I up against?" She asked, dropping her sweater beside her axe and standing in simple shorts and a tank top. It was too warm for thick clothes if she was going to be fighting.

Erin looked at Ash. He was taller than her, and probably stronger, but she had speed on her side. Hopefully.
"Of course." She said simply. In one fluid motion she rushed at Ash, ducking as she did so in case he swung at her from above. As she pa.ssed she grabbed his foot and pulled, still sliding on the damp ground, hoping to trip him.
(( By the way, Ash can beat her because her hand-to-hand combat isn't very good yet. Bending is her strong point. o3o ))

((Lol. Okay.XD)) Ash hopped on his foot almost loosing his balance,"that was close." He whispered getting his balance back he looked down at the smaller girl his eyes brightening. He grabber her arms wrapping them behind her so she could move. He let go,"Can you bend?" He asked curious. |

Erin stumbled back once he released her, grinning. "Actually, I can." She replied, not looking at all disappointed that she had lost. "And I'm alot better at it than hand-to-hand combat." She added. She made a circular motion in the air with her hand, palm facing upwards and fingers curled slightly.
At first only a few droplets appeared, but within a few seconds she had a ring of water circulating over her hand. She seperated the ring and gave some to her other hand, then spread out the water so that it covered her hands and down to her elbows, swirling slightly. Erin stood, hands held close to her center for defense while her posture was still relaxed.
"Care to spar with me again?" She asked, her bi-coloured eyes challenging him silently. It had been a long time since she'd practiced with anyone.

Ash grinned,"Sure." He said. He watch Erin closely waiting for her to attack first. He smiled and stood the patiently.

Erin stood still. She didn't like making the first move, but she doubted Ash would want to either. She blinked, then exhaled.
Remember, no Earthbending here. It was the only other Element she'd learned.
Erin smiled, then took a half step forward. As her foot touched the ground she spun quickly, throwing water at Ash in a deadly spiral. While one hand kept directing the water, she released the other hand and fluidly brought it up. Water shot from the gra.ss below and formed on her fingers as ice.
The line of water continued towards Ash. She let it go- it's momentum would carry it forward- and dashed at him, hands poised to strike him the moment he dodged the ring of water.
(( Meh, you can win or lose here. xD Don't mind either way. ))

Ash built a circle of fire around him. It grew stonger not letting her get through the him. The water put out the fire making him have to spin around to dodge Erin. Aurora started to bite her finger nails watching the fight. |

Erin moved with him. As he dodged, she matched his steps, raising her hands at the same time. Water started to emerge from the gra.ss, covering both of Ash's feet. She exhaled slightly and the water froze on his feet. It would barely hold for a few moments, but in the mean time...
Erin grinned, then swung her hands around. Water from the nearby stream came crashing into the field, slamming into Ash and throwing him to the ground.
It froze, and before he could break free Erin simply sat down beside him and made some water hover over his throat. "You've lost." She said, sounding pleased but surprised. Didn't expect that. She thought. Maybe he's never fought with a Waterbender before.

((Hey, they were origianlly casting Jesse McCartney as Zuko. Eww...)) Dravius padded through the royal gardens, chain clinking as it hung loosley wrapped around his waist. His slim build and long limbs made for a graceful gait that was ruined by the ex
pression on his face. It was stormy, and smoke was leaking from his nostrils. He clenched his fists and thrust them forcefully at a nearby turtle-duck, sending it scrambling away from the stream of deep red fie as it swirled past. The Fire Nation's prince sotrmed back insided, reappearing sohrtly with a black robe swathing his form. He left the palace, eyes staring ahead and face twisted into a scowl. He heard splashes and whooshing noises in the distance, followed by thwacks and a few muffled cries. Dravius padded towards the sounds, black robe blending into the shadows. Dravius watched the two fighters form a kind of dance, moving and shifting with each other. The girl swept a wide ring of water at the fire nation boy, and followed it quickley. A dark smile formed on Dravius's face as he studied the girl. A rumor of the Avatar had swept the palace, of a water tribe girl. Without a sound, Dravius unraveled his chains from around his waist and gently lit the end on fire.

Aurora laughed,"Good job." She said. She took out her dagger and broke some of the ice from Ash. Ash mumbled something to himself before melting the rest of the ice. He sat up,"I was going easy on you." He mumbled. |

Erin smiled. "Is that so? Next time, then, don't hold back." She lay back on the gra.ss, letting the sun warm her face. She glanced at Ash. "Could you teach me some non-bending moves sometime? I want to get better, I can't rely on my bending all the time."
Then she heard something; footsteps. She wouldn't have picked them out if the wind hadn't died down for an instant; Even then she could barely hear them.
Erin blinked and sat up, immediately tense. "Who's there?" She asked. Maybe it's just some animal. I may be overreacting, I may not be...

Dravius smiled even wider from the shadows, and with a flick of his wrist, the flaming and spiked weight flew from the trees, trapping Erin's left arm in it's burning grip. Dravius yanked, tightening the spiked chain. He then sent a short pulse of flames down the length of the weapon, sending fire licking at Erin;s exposed skin. The avater. Hmmph. This avatar was weaker then a baby saber-toothed moose-lion cub. Dravius placed his feet in a widew horse stance and said in a dark and rich voice, "Hello, avatar."

Erin yelped and slammed her hand into the earth, not bothering to hide the fact that she was Earthbending. It wasn't visible to anyone but her, anyways; Ash and Aurora wouldn't notice. With her hand in the ground she stopped herself from being pulled forward by the chain. It's spikes scratched aginst her skin, slicing and cutting her. Blood hit the ground.
She felt something warm, then a second later it started to hurtburn. Erin cried out as her skin was burned visciously. She dashed the fire out with some water, gritting her teeth.
She glared at Dravius, then froze some water onto the chains and broke them. She stood up shakily, pain searing up her burnt and sliced arms. "Who are you? Or more importantly, what do you want from me?" She asked, voice shaking slightly. Her eyes were fierce, though.

Aurora hissed jumping up to her feet,"Prince Zuko Dravius? What are you doign here?" She asked not wanting to fight the prince,"Avatar?" She asked looking at Erin. Ash walked over to Erin. He looked at the burns his eyes burning with anger,"Why? She is the only chance of peace!" He whispered. |

Dravius looked mildley surprised as the chian beyond his hands shattered, Dropping the broken end to the ground, he remarked, "You owe me a new weapon." He stepped out from the shadows, yawning widly. His shaggy hair fell across his savage grin and he answered Ash, "Why? I have nothing better to do, that's why." Dravius turned to Erin and made a mock bow. "Dravius, Prince of the Fire Nation, and what I want is you. War is splendid, and we can't have you cavorting around promoting something as trivial as peace." Dravius straigtened up and smiled again, malice hidden behind gleaming teeth.
