Lilly didn't take her eyes off of the squirrel afraid that if she did it would vanish and run away "What a simple life you must lead "Lilly said"Must be fun not having to wonder if monkeys in your class are going to take the bait so that they come after you instead of the kid next to you".The Squirrel came slightly closer to her but not to much.

Skalteen could see her lips moving, but couldn't hear her words. Shaking his head, he added the last touches on his drawing, a perfect, if colourless, replica of the scene before him. The squirells tail looked so real you could almost feel it, and the girl in the picture, so real you could imagine her walking out of the page.
Well now. I should... Probably put something intelligent here. At some point. Eventually.

Lilly heard a slight rustling in her bag and turned her gaze to it "Hmm?"She said opening it to find Salem staring up at her .She blinked taking the kitten from her bag"Your not supposed to be here you naughty cat"She said"your supposed to be at home sleeping not in my bag at school".Salem meowed in reply and gently nuzzled her hand."Your not coming tommorrow got it Salem"Lilly said"I don't even know how you survived in my bag".

Sighing, Skalteen puts his book back in the bag before standing up. Glancing at his watch, he sees he has about another twenty minutes or so, so he does a small stretch before climbing the tree, his tall frame arriving at the top in the space of a minute.

Lilly sighed looking back up the tree and finding the squirel gone "You scared it away Salem "she said putting the kitten in her lap"what have you got to say for yourself?".Salem looked up at her and meowed his tail flickering slightly.Lilly sighed "where am I going to put you anyway"she said"You're not even supposed to be here and I don't want to hand you into the office or take you home".

Bored, Skalteen decided to see if he could draw whilst ditting in a tree. Slipping out the small notepad he kept in his pocket, he pulled out his pencil from behind his ear, and attempted to draw a bird from memory. Failing miserably, he dropped his pencil, only to scrabble in the air for it and fall of the branch he was sat on. Hitting the ground with his right shoulder, hard, he made a small groan and just sat there.
Well now. I should... Probably put something intelligent here. At some point. Eventually.

Salem’s ears twitched slightly and he ran off in Skalteens direction.”Salem!"Lilly said getting up and running after him "Where are you-"She stopped in midsentence as she saw Skalteen on the ground.Salem ran up to the boy and meowed looking back when Lilly came back behind him."are you okay Skalteen?"Lilly asked.

Scrambling to his feet with another small groan, Skalteen stood and looked down at Lily. ''Yep, I'm fine. Slightly winded, is all.'' He replied, the fact he was winded evident in his voice. Pointing to a branch about ten feet above his head, he continued. ''I fell off a branch.''

Laughing, he bends down and strokes the cat, saying at the same time, ''Yeah. I've fallen off a two story building before.'' He wasn't joking. At that time, he'd been trying to see exactly how difficult it was to walk blindfolded on a roof. He ended up with a broken arm and stitches.
