Rain. Beautiful rain. It traced down the spires of one boy's black umbrella, dripping onto the end, making a sound akin to that of a tiny drum as the bits of water struck the canopy of the dark umbrella. The boy under the canopy was blonde-haired, with deep golden eyes and formal wear, looking like he had just stepped out of an old movie where he was a butler, smoothing his dark tie with long, thin fingers. The boy pushed his drooping glas.ses up the bridge of his thin, straight nose, the lenses of his spectacles spotless. He seemed a very immaculate person, even though his youth was apparent in his face and the build of his body. The boy strode purposefully through central park, and as his black shoes navigated the numerous puddles, his bright gold eyes spotted a girl hurrying into the woods, followed by a boy she seemed to be yelling at. The boy's smooth, light face creased with a frown, as the boy, whose name was Ra Mysan, followed the two people into the woods, his blonde hair clean and dry as he watched the wretched dripping and shivering of those in front of him. "Would mi'lady care for an umbrella?" Ra said, his voice carrying a rather refined english accent, not enough to mar his speech, but enough to make his voice melodious, but just before he could finish his sentance, a shot rang out and the girl dashed away, her muscles reforming to form the shape of some kind of ancient lizard, flinging herself towards the man who seemed to be the one who had shot the other, and Ra leaned over, inspecting the bullet hole just below the boy's ribs, reaching into a pocket of his vest for a plum-coloured hankercheif, which he kneeled in the mud, rolling up his white sleeves and leaning hard on the wound, taking the cloth away just long enough to insert his long fingers and remove a large bullet, slipping it into his pocket before applying more pressure. "Young lady, is this your brother?"

((Oh wows o_O Short Kuro is short. Just Kidding XD)) Sheyla shivered again before speaking. "Ah, hello. My name is Sheyla." A crack of thunder caused her to jump in surprise before she continued speaking. "I was walking in the park and the storm surprised me. Would it be alright if I come inside and dry off?" ------------ Serrela cursed violently under her breath when the man bumped her, almost causing her to fall into a puddle. It crossed her mind to simply swear at him and keep going, but he might be useful later on. "It's quite alright," she responded with a politeness she didn't feel. Putting on her most charming smile, Serrela grabbed his wrist, fluttering her eyelashes. "I was trying to find my poor, dear, twin sister. We managed to become separated in the storm, and I am just so worried about her. Would you help me?" she tightened her hold on his wrist and began pulling him in Sheyla's direction before she was even finished speaking.

((Your all SO nice to me. xD *Hugglesquished* <3)) Blinking once at the girl beyond the door, Tsukie rolled his eyes at Jesca's comment as she approached. "I've had no coffee," He said matter-of-factly as he looked in her direction, his ex pression unreadable. "Your just being overly-loud," He sighed through his nose, then swiftly lifted the jacket on his arm and put it on as a biting wind made it's way through the open door, shrugging it over his slender shoulders, his stunning silver eyes still on Jesca. He slid his hands into his jacket pockets as the stranger spoke again, then turned to face her, raising an eyebrow in question. "What do you think?" He asked Jesca, his gaze not moving from the new girl. He wasn't entirely sure it would be a good idea, all things considered... It could prove to become somewhat complicated. Shrugging, he turned on his heel and walked back into the cabin, glancing once over his shoulder as he reached the kitchen door. "I'll leave this choice to you," He said somewhat ungraciously, walking into the room and flopping onto a kitchen chair; Watching the thudding drops of water as they hit the cabin window with little curiousity. ~~~ Lucai blinked when the girl he'd run into grabbed hold of his wrist. "Oh, uh... Well-" He barely had time to finish when the stranger started pulling him along in a hasty sort of manner; He didn't even have time to offer the poor girl his jacket. Figuring he probably wasn't going to get out of this all that easily, he allowed himself to simply be pulled along, besides... Helping pretty girls find their sisters didn't seem like all that much of a bad idea... "Alright~" He said after a moment of thought, not paying heed to the fact he may have had no choice in the matter. "I never did catch your name, little lady," He added, glancing around with a slight smile on his face before focusing on the hurrying girl in front of him.

The freezing cold wind that gusted through the partially open doorway seemed like a paltry breeze when one was met with one of Jesca’s icy stares. Her light blue eyes darkened at the girl’s jumpy nature. ‘Your chance of getting hit by lightning when in an area filled with objects taller than you is very unlikely,’ she murmured quietly, not without a hint of sarcasm filling her voice. She looked back into the cabin and with a barely audible sigh opened the door fully. ‘Down the hall, in the room to the left, in left hand side of the cupboard. Take the topmost towel,’ she said softly, her voice hard and seemingly devoid of emotion. ‘And don’t touch anything you needn’t touch.’ Her slight Swedish accent seemed more pronounced when she wasn’t bothering to infuse her voice with emotion. Just like Tsukie to leave all those important decisions to me. ~ Growling noises emanated from the saurian throat, vibrating across the natural clearing. The beast shrunk and its body seemed to contort painfully before leaving behind a thin and tall girl. ‘Get away from him,’ the girl snarled, stepping forwards threateningly. ‘Or, god help me, I’ll kill you right here.’ Those once mellow brown eyes were now black, without a hint of white around the pupils, and glittering with something akin to pain…and fury. ---- ‘Beka, don’t. He’s just trying to help,’ Jace gasped painfully. He flinched when Ra’s slim white fingers delved into his wound for the bullet before he applied more pressure. ‘Yes. And she’s protective.’ He managed a thin smile. ‘Don’t worry. She won’t try to kill you---or I don’t think she will.’ ---- Beka had reached the two and she crouched down on her haunches by the two boys. ‘What are you doing?’ she demanded, voice infused with anger and confusion. ‘You’d better not be doing anything painful or potentially damaging to him.’ ---- ‘Beka, calm yourself,’ Jace murmured. He lifted one hand painfully and settled it on the pale skin of her arm. A golden glow seemed to form by his fingers before it sunk into her body. Beka’s demeanour calmed immediately, her whole body relaxing. ‘There, there, now, no more threatening this boy here.’

"I'm sorry, young lady," Ra said, removing his hands slowly from Jace's chest, holding them with their palms towards Beka. Ra had been crouching on his haunches, but he striaghtened up, still holding the umbrella over his head carefully. "And I do belive that this belonged to the man you killed," He murmered, holding the long, pointed bullet out to Beka at arm's length. "If it was not raining I could probably help more. Wet ink tends to run," Ra Mysan crouched down again at Beka's relaxation, gently taking the girl's wrists and setting her hands over the wet hankerchief and pressing down, saying, "Please apply pressure, if you will," Leaning back, he rummaged in the pockets of his dark red vest, the colour of vintage wine. Ra pulled out a few more hankerchiefs, a pair of white gloves, and a long peice of folded gauze. "Young lady, could you sit your friend up and bind this rather tightly around your friends' chest?" Ra kept a respectful distance from the girl and boy, his white sleeves tinged red on the ends, and one had fallen down around his wrist, soaked in fresh blood. Adjusting his square glas.ses, Ra held the umbrella over the two, his immaculate clothes stained with rain and blood, his white hair falling in front of his golden eyes. "I am Ra Mysan. May I ask your name, mi'lady?"

'Rebekah Silvant,' she murmured absently, dabbing the kerchief to Jace's chest a few more times before taking the gauze. She fixed it in place with one hand and bagan to slowly wrap it around her brother's torso. She frowned when he winced at the fresh pain, but her hands remained steady, due to the fact that she was fine with blood, and Jace's calming abilities. 'And call me Beka...no mi'lady, please.' ---- 'Thank you,' Jace murmured to Ra, giving him a smile. 'You probably saved my life. Is there anything I could do to thank you?' He frowned and looked at his chest, not a little forlorn. 'I wish I could heal myself, only I'm resistant against my own abilities. There's a little irony for you.' He shook his head ruefully and picked up the blood soaked handkerchief from the ground, where Beka had left it. 'Do you wish to have this back?' he asked, pinching it delicately between his forefinger and thumb. 'I doubt it but...' [FYI: Both are italian (They should have olive skin but I'm lazy about appearances these days), and have accents. o3o]

"As you wish, Beka," Ra smiled, pushing his sleeves above his elbows once again. "And no, there is nothing, unless you can make the world accepting, which I doubt, but never hurts to hope, yes?" The boy's smile was small as he shook his head to Jace's question, saying, "As I said, I could help usually, but ink tends to run in the rain," Ra stifled a small yawn, adding, "I am pleased to meet both of you, and I would take the cloth back, but I doubt that my employer would appreciate me coming back with bloodied cloths and trying to wash them in their washers. You see, I am employed as a servant for the family in the mansion in town," Ra did indeed seem someone who would work as a butler, with his vest and tie, and shiny black shoes. In fact, there was even a pocket watch dangling from a side of his vest, that had fallen out when he was treating Jace. It was a bright, polished silver, and bore a raised, ornamental "R", seemingly for his first name. Noticing that it had fallen, Ra tucked it back inside, pushing his glas.ses back up on his face. "Why are you out here when the sun is sinking, Beka and other?" Ra asked, tilting his blonde-haired head.

'Jace, Jace Silvant.' Jace said with a grin. 'We're just wandering around I s'ppose. We're not orphans and we don't have some sort of sob story for a reason for us to be here, but Beka likes the wildlife in Central Park.' He shook his head with a small laugh, and attempted to stand. 'Oof...Beka, some help please?' ---- Beka groaned and slipped her arm under Jace's and over his shoulder, grunting as he leaned his full weight on her back and shoulders. 'You should weigh less after losing so much blood,' she complained, but her grip on his arm was gentle and there was genuine worry in her eyes. [Imma be lazy atm. :c]

"Ahh, really? That's good to know.." Sheyla replied, uneasy with the girl's demeanor. "Thank you," Sheyla murmured as she stepped past her and followed her directions. Hurrying down the hallway, she opened the door and stepped inside. Spotting the cupboard, she pulled out the top towel and proceeded to wipe rainwater off of her face and arms. When she was as dry as she could get, Sheyla switched to her hair, using the towel to squeeze the water out of it. Closing the door behind her, Sheyla walked back into the main room of the cabin where the boy and girl were. "I'm sorry about bothering you," she apologized quietly. "Once the storm pas.ses I'll be on my way." --------------------- Serrela flashed him a shark's smile, full of teeth and no good intentions. "I'm Serrela," she informed. "And thank you for helping me find my sister," she all but purred. She might not even have to use her power on this one, Serrela mused. The gentlemanly ones were usually easiest to manipulate, one good sob story and they went out of their way to as.sist "helpless" girls like herself. Easing her grip on his wrist, she kept pulling the man along until she spotted the lights of a cabin. "Found you!" she mentally cheered. "That looks like a cabin. Do you think they've seen my sister?" Serrela asked him, already knowing the answer.

Tsukie showed no start of surprise when the girl walked into the kitchen, pulling his silver eyes away from the dark and rippling window to look at her, his silver-white hair hanging freely over them. "There's no rush. The storm doesn't like like it's going to pas.s anytime soon," He replied, leaning back in the chair and resting his right ankle on his left knee; His elbows overhanging the backrest as he turned back to the window. "You may as well make yourself comfortable," He added with a slight yawn. After a few silent moments, he sighed, then stood, gesturing over to one of the kitchen counters with a slender, ivory toned hand. "Would you like anything to drink?... Something hot, perhaps?" He asked, as he walked over to the cupboards and began to methodically pull out any number of jars containing flavoured teas, coffee, and hot chocolate. "We're running low on chocolate, Jesca," He said, holding up a somewhat empty jar. Glancing back towards the new girl, he spoke in his soft, flowing voice in a tone that was nothing if not welcoming. "Would you like the last of the chocolate?" He asked, glancing away and pressing a button on the nearby kettle as he pulled himself up to sit on the counter, listening to the boiling water with a thoughtful face. "You said your name was Sheyla?" He asked, brushing back the many strands of silver that covered his eyes and revealing his model-like features. ~~~ "Pleasure to meet you, uh, Serrela," Lucai replied, blinking at the girls somewhat vicious grin. Perhaps she wasn't quite what she seemed, hm?... That was alright, the mystery did tend to make certain girls more attractive. "And my name is Lucai~" He added, not paying much heed to whether or not she wanted to know his name. It was usually customary to state your own after asking, afterall. The tall, brown haired male pulled himself away from his thoughts and glanced over towards the cabin with its warm lighted windows when the girl pointed it out. "Perhaps, if she was, by any chance, looking for a place out of the storm," He said, blinking. A cabin in central park?... Since when?... Pfft. Maybe he just hadn't noticed it before, it wouldn't be the first time he missed something obvious... He frowned slightly, then gently pulled his wrist out of Serrela's grasp when she stopped. "Let's go take a look then, hm?" He added, strolling forward and folding his jacket under an arm, ignoring the cold splatter of heavy rain on his head and shoulders. Well.. Using it now would be a pretty pointless expedition, considering Lucai was already completely soaked through. Once he reached the wooden door, he paused for a moment, then shrugged and knocked. What a strange place, he silently wondered what manner of person would live out here in central park... Well, guess he'd soon find out, no?

Jesca frowned and picked up the jar of chocolate powder when she padded into the kitchen, giving it a cursory shake. 'All but empty,' she agreed quietly. She leaned against the smooth marble counter -giving an involuntary shudder when the cold stone presseda against the bare skin between her bottoms and top- and reached for the mugs. The mugs were evidentally out of Jesca's pitifully short reach, but she didn't give up, instead casting her eyes about the room for 'her' stool. 'Where's my stool?' she said, kneeling on the wooden flooring to open the cupboards. Nope, no stool, only a few old pots and pans blackened with the ashes of past meals. So engrossed by her searching she missed the soft knock on the door. ~

"I would have thought all the wildlife would be in hiding, but ah, well," Ra murmered, smiling slightly. "I am here because my mistress thought she saw a small cabin in these trees, and wished to see if anyone was in residence, for she wishes to use it if it is not," Ra walked over to Beka and Jace, supporting Jace's other side while managing to hold his umbrella over all three of them, his glas.ses slipping down the bridge of his nose. "Shall we check it out, Beka and Jace?" He asked, tugging gently on Beka's arm to the side, towards a barely visible through the rain cabin. Rain dripped off the end points of his rain cover, spilling chilling water on the top of his blonde head, and dripping down onto his white shirt, rendering it somewhat translucent, andmaking his hair wilt slightly, the strands on his forehead clinging to his rather pale skin and drooping over the brown frames of his glas.ses, which were clincing to the end of his thin nose by a thread, but didn't seem to be going anywhere as he guided Jace and Beka towards the distant cabin.

Jace accepted Ra's help graciously, leaning on him for support as the trio limped along the forest trail. Every so often a flash of lightning would light up the small cabin, illuminating it for the precious seconds they needed to guide themselves through the treacherous woods. ~ 'Your glas.ses are slipping,' Beka said awkwardly, bending slightly to stop Jace from slipping in the mud. Her ash blonde hair was plastered to her head, and her windbreaker dripping with water, but a glimmer of amusement still shone in her eyes as she saw Ra's glas.ses barely hanging on to the bridge of his nose.

"Oh, I know, Beka. The earpieces aren't tight enough," Ra responded, twisting to push the glas.ses up with his wet shoulder, water hanging from his eyelashes like so many sparkling gems, sending trails of water down his cheeks every time he blinked. Ra yelped briefly as one of his feet dissapeared in a hidden pit of mud. Stopping to pull his limb out with a wet slurp, he continued, weaving through the trees, narrowing his eyes in the thundering rain. Reaching the cabin, he stopped just behind two people, a boy and a girl, and sneezed loudly, saying softly, "Are you the occupants of this cabin?" Stopping to shove up his glas.ses yet again, he smiled weakly, still supporting the bleeding Jace, with mud up to one knee discolouring his black pants, and dried blood tinging the white sleeves of his now see-through shirt. The longer part of his hair in the front nearly reached the top of his chest now that it was flat and wet, water running down the cords that the rain had made of his hair.

[We need Kuro D:] Beka made a noise that sounded somewhat like a hum, staring off into the blackness of the forest. Not able to help it, she made a snorting sound when one of Ra's legs seemed to disappear into the rain-soaked ground, then re-appear a completely new color. 'Watch your step,' she said wickedly, navigating the earth with a skill born of practice. 'You might slip and disappear forever into the earth...or something.' ---- Jace looked up groggily from his position between Beka and Ra, blinking rapidly as he took in the scenery surrounding him. 'Oh my,' he murmured tiredly, his head drooping again. A burning pain seemed to shoot through his torso, like a flash of fire on his skin. He drew in his breath quickly as Beka shifted, causing him to twist awkwardly and draw the skin around his wound even more tightly. 'Watch it,' he attempted to say, though he was sure that it sounded something more like 'Waa....eet.'

"Yes, it is raining pretty hard," Sheyla answered him quietly. Taking the damp towel from her hair, she folded it and placed it over a wooden chair before sitting down. "My clothes are still soaked," she explained. "I didn't want to ruin your furniture." She nodded at the silver haired boys question. "Some cocoa would be nice... but don't put yourself out for me. I'll be alright." "Yes, it's Sheyla. And your name is Tsukie?" she asked as he began to boil water. ------------------ "Pleased to meet you as well, Lucai," she replied in a distracted manner when he introduced himself. There was someone inside the cabin, but so far no one had answered the door. And now there were three new people standing right behind them in the rain. Serrela had to fight not to scowl at them when the man with ill-fitting glas.ses sneezed rather close to her. Ugh. Didn't he realize how many germs he was spreading? "No, this isn't our cabin," she replied to his question with an arched eyebrow. "Why would we be standing outside in the rain if we owned it?" Instead of saying what she really thought, the brunette stepped in front of Lucai and knocked loudly and insistently on the door. "Open, open, open!" she hissed through her teeth.

Jesca jumped, startled by the loud noise emanating from outside the cabin. 'What? More people?' she exclaimed, though her voice did not grow any louder than before. She groaned softly and padded out of the kitchen, expecting to simply tell the pas.serbys to be on there way, that this was a private home. She crossed the living area quickly and pulled on the doorknob gently, causing the door to swing open with a soft sigh. 'Yes?' she murmured, staring at the five people standing on their doorstep. 'Can I he---' Her eyes widened with shock when she saw the trio, who were standing slightly farther back than the first girl and boy. 'Oh my goodness, is he alright?' she breathed, paling slightly. By then, she had visibly faded, the old sofa partially visible through her torso. The shock of seeing someone with such a bloody wound only made her disappear further.
