"Oh joy.",Shadow thought as she let out a quiet growl and began walking off. When she reached the forrest she threw down the mask and blanket and took to the skys.

Kristi and Zack helped people carry people who didn't make it through the earthquake. Zack stared at Kristi for a while but continued working with the dead people. Kristi sighed, looking around.

Shadow flew above what was left of the town and sighed,"They are probably moving into MY woods!",she said and the words came out as a loud and angery roar.

Shadow growled and flew upward,out of the reach of their weapons and swopped down clawing one of the men as she went back up into the sky and roared again before landing at the edge of the forrest.

People kept throwing heavy and sharp objects at Shadow, following her. The orphaned children ran into the woods for safety. Kristi and Zack shielded little kids from small things that got past the trees.

Shadow ran off getting ahead of the children and disapearing into the thick trees around her territory,"Can't get through those unless your a child!",she roared out.

The people started building a brick wall around the forest, forgetting the children. It was getting dark. Very dark. The kids huddled into the hollow of a large tree, the boys on one side the girls on the other.

Shadow growled as she came out of her territory and towards the scent of the children. When she got to the tree they were in she wrote a note at the entrance as quick as she could that said,"Don't worry. I will not hurt you." She then ran off and hid nearby at a place were she could watch the children.

(the village must be peaceful without the children cause their not coming back XD) Kristi saw the note, and was helping children learn how to sew blankets. Without the village, school was a dire need.

(lol) A little girl was the first to see Shadow. "Kitty!" The girl ran up to hug Shadow. Kristi smiled, letting the other kids get a closer look.

As the child hugged Shadow she put her right front paw on the childs back and smiled as best she could. After a couple of seconds she put her paw back on the ground and looked at the other children.

Kristi walked up to Shadow and stroked her head. "The village was more interested in killing you than caring for children, so Zack and I took them out here." Zack was trying to figure out which girl was hiding behind him. "Hey, stop it, kid! Thats enough! Go play with the kitty!" The girl giggled and ran to the other children.

Shadow frowned and wrote in the dirt,"They are selfish and only care about themselves.",then looked back up at Kristi and added to the dirt,"My human name was Lily just so you know. You might have heard the name before,my parents were royalty.",and put her ears back as she remembered her one month with her parents and then how they abandoned her.
