"Come on." Owlcomet said. "Let's get back to camp. Featherstorm will be thrilled to know that she can still have a mate being a vampire. She's always been senstive on that subject."

Rougeheart nodded and slowly stood up, it a bit hard with her new weight. She smiled and licked Owlcomet, then starting back to camp. Her belly was swelled up with kits. They soon arrived back at camp and sacredstar trotted over, smiling. "I suppose you should move to the Nursery, It's only going to be a couple pawfuls of days before you start kitting." She mewed and smiled.

Rougeheart smiled and walked over to the shade of a tree, laying down and relaxing.

Sacredstar dipped her head and nodded. "Of course, come with me." She meowed and stepped into her home. She lay down and gazed to Owlcomet. "What is it?"

Owlcomet's pelt twitched nervously. "Rogueheart is giving birth to half-blood cats." he said worriedly. "How will we feed them? They will be too much vampire to have prey, and too much of a normal cat to want cat blood. And even if they take a preference to cat blood, how will we get them to understand that the cats around us are not food? It'll be like teaching a normal kit how to live among mice."

Sacredstar looked thoughtful. "That is quite a dilemna. well, considering they only want blood, but cat blood would probably not be good to them. If they are mixed with Normal cat and vampire, I think that they will like prey blood. not the prey's meat, but not a cat's blood." She replied, smiling. "Don't worry, Owlcomet."

((Minor time skip to birthing?))

Owlcomet's tail twitched nervously. "I suppose we'll have to see." he said softly, padding out of the den and into the nursery to lay down beside his mate.

((Sure. I think I'll play three kits instead of two though. They will be Spottedkit, Minkkit and Dreamkit))

Rougeheart yowled out in pain suddenly, waking the other cats. "They're coming!" She cried as her claws dug into the soft moss she was laying on. "Applesong!" She yowled.

Applesong rushed in hurriedly. It was nighttime. "Featherstorm!" she yowled. "Go kill something and bring it back.

"A cat?" asked Featherstorm.

"Yes a cat you mouse-brain!" Applesong snarled. "Lightwave, get Owlcomet." she ordered. She squeezed water from a ball of moss into Rougeheart's mouth. "Stay calm, Owlcomet's on his-"

"What's happening?!" yowled Owlcomet, interupting Applesong. He rushed to his mate's side andlicked her face clean from Rougeheart's sweat.

Lightwave rushed from the nursery to Sacredstar's den. "Rougeheart is kitting." she said calmly. "We should be expecting anywhere from three to five kits" she reported.

Featherstorm came back with an older cat limp in her jaws, already drained of a little blood. She nosed it up to Rougueheart's muzzle to bite if she wanted, that way she wouldn't bite any living cat.

Sacredstar yowled and jumped straight up, bolting into the nursery to lay beside rougeheart. "You'll be fine." she meowed softly.

Rougeheart cringed and looked up at Owlcomet. She licked him, but fell back to her side in a wave of pain. She barely managed to clamp her jaws on the old cat's neck and drink the blood before another wave of pain hit her and she wailed in pain.

Owlcomet growled. "Leave her be, she must be only with me and Applesong for now" he said in a deep tone.

Applesong sighed. "Do as he says please." she said to Sacredstar. "You can see them as soon as they are named."

Owlcomet licked Rougheart's pelt clean as the first kit came out, black and white. (To become Dreamkit!)

Applesong took the kit gently by it's delicate scruff and licked it clean. "Female" she announced to the crowd in the nursery.

Owlcomet purred. "Did yo hear that Rougueheart, we have a daughter." he purred, licking her ears. "Only a few more." 

Sacredstar dipped her head and left.

An unbearable wave of pain hit her as the kit came out, but she looked up at Owlcomet and smiled. She licked Owlcomet, but another wave of pain hit her, making her lay back down. Another kit came out, mostly black with white on the tip of the tail.

"Another female" said Applesong, licking the kit clean again and placing it next to the first.

((I almost put Owlkit here XD)) Owlcomet saw a third kit on it's way, and gently pulled it out to save his mate the trouble licking it clean. "It's a little tom cat" Owlcomet laughed as the new kit almost bit his paw. He set it down next to the other two and resumed in comforting Rogueheart.

Rougeheart cringed at the pain, but smiled as the little kits suckled. Another excrutiating wave of pain hit her and another kit, white, came out. "One more..." She breathed and readied herself for the pain again. It was almost over.
