Applesong gathered the last kit and cleaned it with a sigh. She handed it over to Owlcomet to finish off before feeling Rougueheart's stomach. "That should be all of them." she said. "Are you well Rogueheart?" she asked.

"Girl" Owlcomet said as he lay the last kit (Spottedkit) down next to the others.

Little mewed and started suckling, wriggling around with his siblings.

Rougeheart sighed and looked up at Owlcomet. "A little sick to my stomach, otherwise okay." Rougeheart mewed softly and licked Owlcomet.

"You pick the names." Owlcomet purred. "You worked really hard."

Applesong brought some herbs from her den, flicking her tail to Sacredstar, allowing her o come in now. 

Rougeheart nussled a black and white kitten. "Dreamkit." She mewed softly. She poked her nose toward the two calicoes. "Spottedkit and Minkkit." She meowed. Then she nosed the black one. "Tulipkit, and him Littlekit." She meowed and nosed the little Mostly white calico. "Do you like those names, Owlcomet?" she asked softly and smiled.

Sacredstar stepped in and purred as she muzzled each of the kits.

"More than any name I've ever heard." Owlcomet purred, nuzzling the kits. "Oh fox dung!" he exclaimed, sitting bolt upright. "I was going to fetch one of those kittypet kits from the queen I had helped out!" he said. "It should be two moons old now."

Applesong's tail lashed. "Owlcomet, you are to stay here with your own kits, not worry about a kittypet. Lightwave will go instead." she said

Owlcomet looked at Lightwave and sighed. "Okay." he sighed. "The two-leg nest that the queen lives in has a tree with pink leaves in the window. Tell her Owlcomet sent you."

Lightwave nodded and set off to the two-leg place swiftly. 

Owlcomet purred in agreement, settling down next to Rogueheart again. "You should rest." Owlcomet paused. "Nevermind. I forgot that vampires needn't sleep." he laughed.

((I'm just gonna make Lightwave come back with the kit if that's okay. :P It would be easier. I'll make a bio for him in a sec.))

Rougeheart gave a small giggle and licked Owlcomet's ear. "We don't sleep, but we do need to rest." She meowed softly and lay her head down on her paws.

Lightwave re-entered camp with the kit in her jaws, setting her down in front of Rougueheart and Owlcomet in the nursery. "Her mother desires her name to be Moonkit." she said. "Is it okay if she suckles with your kits?" Lightwave asked gently.

Owlcomet's fur bristled. "But Rogueheart already has a big litter and will struggle to feed them all!" Owlcomet protested, his tail lashing. His kits came first, no questions asked. 

Owlcomet licked his fur flat. "Fine, but if any of my kits shows one sign of being hungry, just one, the kit goes back to her mother." Owlcomet growled, sitting down.

Lightwave dipped her head to Rogueheart. "You are strong Rogueheart" she complemented, heading to Sacredstar's den. 

Rougeheart looked at him and laughed. "Don't be so paranoid, Owlcomet. All of them will be fine." She meowed softly and licked him again. "Our kits will be fine."

Sacredsar had moved back to her den and she was organizing her bedding when she saw Lightwave. "Yes, Lightwave?" She mewed with her mouth full of moss as she set in down on her bed.

Sacredstar made her fur even more fluffy as she turned around and lay down, gazing at Lightwave. "Don't worry about that now, Lightwave. We don't know what will happen. Maybe some cats will be willing to take on two. Maybe a few loners will want to join. We don't know, we will just have to wait." She mewed softly.

((Hmm... Want to bring in 2 loners? XD))

"But can we trust a loner to raise our young? That's a bit far-fetched Sacredstar" Lightwave teased. "No, some of us will just take on two."

"You don't even think of me as an option?" Applesong interupted, entering the den with her tail twitching. "I'll bet I could convince one of the kits to become my apprentice." 

Sacredstar nodded to Applesong. "If I mentor one aswell, There's only one kit left." She meowed thoughtfully. "I will take on two."

Lightwave smiled and left the den.
