"I will be, soon. And I already told you, Mouse-brain. Scarstar." She meowed simply and flicked her tail. "And I already know where your camp is." She added with a hint of annoyance.

Ravenwing flattend her ears at Featherstorm licking her lips. "Err, I have a brother you could eat." She said, half-meaningly and half-joking.

Sacredstar woke up with a start and blinked. Her blue eyes trailed outside as she got up and smoothed down her fur. She walked out, but her fur fluffed out all over again when she saw the Cat.

"That's awful barbaric of you." Featherstorm growled softly, obviously taking it literally. She flicked her tail in dismissal, not continuing her conversation. "Sacredstar, this is Ravenwing, she claims that there is a new clan in the forest that will abide by our code" Featherstorm reported. "I found her when I was hunting."

"Well did you catch anything?" Lightwave asked curiously, coming out of the nursery. Her belly was now full with her kits after the many moons that p*censored*ed.

"No" Featherstorm admitted, shifting uneasily. "If I could have permission, could I go back to hunting?" 

Sacredstar instantly looked over to Lightwave. "Please, Lightwave, return to the nursery. You could kit at any time now." She meowed softly and then whipped back around. "You may return to hunting." She said and then narrowed her eyes at Ravenwing.

The black She-cat looked at Sacredstar. "There is a new clan in the forest. We are Hailclan. Scarstar has ordered me to inform your clan that we will be taking our own territory." She meowed simply.

Sacredstar's fur fluffed even further when she heard this. "This has not happend in over 100 moons! i will not tolerate this. This is not your place. Never has a Ruge band created a clan, without consulting Starclan!" She growled. "Leave." She meowed.

Ravenwing looked amused, and turned, leaving withotu another word.

Hornetwing trotted up to her leader. "Do you want me to go after her? It'll be perect to put Littlepaw's fighting skills to use"

Lightwave sighed and obeyed her leader.

Featherstorm purred at Sacredstar before returning to her hunt. 

"Well then I'll call the rest of the clan on her" Hornetwing growled confidently. "We are plentiful in warriors, and our half-vampire apprentices who are already well on the track to  becoming warriors."

"Calm Honetwing" Applesong purred, rubbing her pelt against the deputy's comfortingly. "She will take no action against us if we do the same. We need not have all the forest to sustain ourselves, and they are cats too."

Hornetwing sighed, slightly calmed. "Hailclan" she spat. "What an insult to Starclan" 

Sacredstar sighed and gently closed her eyes. "They claim to worship Starclan, as Cludclan does, but They have no right.... No Real leader... No blessing...." She mumbled, and suddenly Images flashed through her mind. Littlepaw fighting.... A black tom? Ravenwing had described Their leader as a black tom! Her eyes flung open and her fur spiked. "Starclan forbid..."

Hornetwing looked puzzled, her tail raised curiously. "He is in the apprentice's den just where I left him" she said. "At least I think so"

"What are you implying Sacredstar?" Applesong said, even more confused than the deputy.

Moonpaw bounded out of the medicine cats den, her fur covered in sticky herbs. "Applesong!" she yowled "Our yarrow supply has been ruined! Owlcomet fell asleep near it and then was kicking with his claws all night. All the yarrow is shredded."

Applesong groaned. "Here I was thinking it was something important. It is newleaf Moonpaw, that's when yarrow grows the most. If it were horsetail then we'd be in trouble, that's a leaf-bare plant. Take a warrior and go look for more." 

Sacredstar bounded into the apprentice's den and yowled in agony when she saw only tulippaw was there. "Find Littlepaw!" She yowled.

Littlepaw had gone out to practice more of his hunting. He was about to kill a squirrel when an odd scent filled his nose. 'Kittypets? No, it dosen't smell of those pellets... Rouge!' He thought in his mind and jumped back, hissing and spitting.

The bushes rustled and Scarstar emerged, looking around with narrowed eyes. He looked down at the growling littlepaw and laughed, being over double his size.

Hornetwing thought hard, trying to think of what Littlepaw. "He's going hunting!" she exclaimed to herself. She scanned the bustle of camp for Sacredstar. There was no time! "Serpentbreeze" she hissed. "Follow me"

Serpentbreeze nodded obediently and tore after Hornetwing out of camp to Littlepaw. "I have his scent!" she panted. She skidded to a stop, seeing a black tom with a lighter scar on his pelt. He was double the size of Littlepaw.

"Leave him alone!" Hornetwing hissed. She was much more of a match for the rogue, being almost bigger than him, and she had her twin Serpentbreeze with her. And littlepaw. He didn't stand a chance alone.

Scarstar hissed and lunged at Littlepaw, easily knocking thel ittle cat to the ground. "Adderstorm! Wirepelt!" He snarled at the rest of the patrol.
