Adderstorm's fur bristled, but without hesitation, he sprung out of hiding and tackled the stronger looking cat, Hornetwing.

Hornetwing yowled in fury, kicking Adderstorm off with strong back claws. "You insulted Starclan the day you were born!" she snarled at Scarstar. She leapt at his side, knocking him off her apprentice. 

Serpentbreeze, meanwhile, struck out at Adderstorm to keep him occupied and away from her sister. Her claws sharp, she struck his face, catching his eyelid and tearing.

Adderstorm yowled furiously in pain, but it was only a little bit of her claw that got him. Blood clouded half his vision anyways.

Wirepelt froze in fear. She was much smaller than any of the cats, only the size of the apprentice Littlepaw. She was barely old enough to be a warrior, and a very small cat to begin with.

Adderstorm hissed at Wirepelt. "attack you fool!" he snapped, clawing at Serpentbreeze, careful not to kill her. That was against their adopted 'code'. (Shows what he thinks of the code XD)

Hornetwing pushed Scarstar out of the way. "Littlepaw! Run for help!" she yowled, pinning Scarstar temporarily. He was not much of a match for the Cloudclan deputy, having not been trained as a proper warrior. 

Scartsar hissed in annoyance, but snapped at Hornetwing. He had left Littlepaw laying on the ground, eyes closed andblood seeping out everywhere. "Retreat!" He snarled at Hornetwing and rammed his body into her, knocking the cat over. "Fight, you fool!" He yowled at Wirepelt.

Hornetwing slashed Scarstar across the flank, taking a brutal shoulder wound for herself. "You villain! Claiming to follow the warrior code! Killing an apprentice!" she roared, exaggeration, obviously, but he should have let poor Littlepaw retreat after he was defeated, mostly unharmed...

Serpentbreeze tossed Adderstorm aside against a healthy oak tree, giving an angry hiss as she tackled Scarstar with Hornetwing.

Adderstorm growled angrily at being so rejected.

Wirepelt's paws were rooted to the ground in terror. Her eyes watching the writhing cats.

Adderstorm snarled in rage at his clan mate, the worthless deputy. He stormed up to her and slashed her face with unsheathed claws. "Wake up!" he snarled "Does this battle mean nothing to you? You furry bag of maggots!"

Wirepelt hissed, dropping to the ground in innate submission. Without another word, she turned and fled back to camp, tail between her legs.

Adderstorm yowled in fury, tackling Serpentbreeze away from Scarstar.

Featherstorm pricked her ears, she  still hadn't found anything to eat. She heard fighting. She sighed, hunting could wait, it would have to. She raced back to camp. Sacredstar was nearly going mad searching the camp for Littlepaw. Featherstorm tackled her, as if in a training session. "Sacredstar! I hear fighting, I fear Hornetwing and Serpentbreeze have gone to battle"

Owlcomet came out of the den, his eyes wide. "Did we find Littlepaw?" he asked Featherstorm.

"I don't know!" she snapped. "You need to stay here with Rogueheart regardless, she needs you.

((:P Guess what I'm throwing into the choas?))

A pained yowl erupted from the nursery. "Feralclaw!" Lightwave yowled. Applesong was instantly beside her. "Great Starclan, Lightwave could you have chosen a worse time to kit?"

"Its a bit beyond my paws" Lightwave snapped angrily, her tail lashing.

(I plan on making one kit for myself, how many do you want?)) 

((One for myself, being that Rougeheart's kit was large. LOL Nice add-on))

Scarstar snarled in raged and jumped onto his hind legs, striking down a deep scratch to Hornetwing's muzzle.

Ravenwing jumped out of the bushes and snarled in fury, but then saw Littlepaw. Her head whipped around to Scartsar, and she sat there. "He was only an apprentice." She growled angrily and refused to move.

Littlepaw yelped and limped rapidly into the safety of the bushes, rolling over and breathing heavily.

Feralclaw was about to run out of camp to help the fight, but heard lightwave. "Lightwave!" He yowled and ran into the nursery, dropping down beside her and nuzzling her.

((You forgot Scaredstar!!! :O))

Adderstorm rolled out of the way of Serpentbreeze, panting with blood going down his pelt. "Ravenwing's right Scarstar. This has gone too far. A warrior need'nt kill to win his or her battles" he said, for once agreeing with his sister.

Serpentbreeze drew back, her tail lashing with battle energy. She didn't take her eyes off Adderstorm, in case this was a joke.

Lightwave groaned softly. Closing her eyes in pain.

Applesong licked Lightwave's cheek gently. "It'll be all right Lightwave, just relax." she said.

Lightwave hissed. "How am I supposed to relax when my nephew is missing and Feralclaw is right next to me?" she said, her voice cracking.

Applesong frowned, not knowing how to answer. "Feralclaw, go and see if you can help Littlepaw. You have to, or Lightwave will be too stressed to kit safely." 

 ((You forgot Hornetwing!))

Scarstar sanrled in rage, blood streaming down the side of his face and his back. He glared at Hornetwing, then yowled 'Retreat' And fled.

Sacredstar arrived just after Scarstar ran. 'Great starclan I have bad timing.....(XD)' She thoguht and checked everyone's wounds.

Ravenwing followed her leader obediantly.

Littlepaw huffed, and pa.ssed out from blood loss.

"B-But....!" Feralclaw meowed in alarm at being told to leave his mate during kitting. He liocked Lightwave and closed his eyes. "Where's Moonpaw? i'll need her help." She meowed.

Adderstorm followed, he had the least wounds other than Wirepelt and Ravenwing, who arrived late. He stopped when he got to camp, scanning it for Wirepelt, flexing his claws and growling. "Where is Wirepelt?" Adderstorm roared.

Lynxclaw's head peeked out of the den with Gingerstorm peeking out behind him. "She went to Scarstar's den" he said, "Why?"

Adderstorm growled, flicking his tail dismissively. He waited for Scarstar.

"I'm right here" Moonpaw said softly, remaining at the opening of the cramped nursery.

Hornetwing hissed at Sacredstar. "Enough fussing get Littlepaw home!" she snapped angrily. She  sent a sharp glare to Serpentbreeze who shouldered away from Sacredstar and raced to the camp to get Applesong.

 Serpentbreeze padded into camp after a long run, panting. "Applesong?" she panted, peering into the den. She heard Lightwave yowl from the nursery. "What in Starclan's name is going on?" she meowed to Moonpaw.

"Lightwave's kitting" Moonpaw said, her tail flicking.

"Littlepaw's hurt in the forest, we can't risk moving him yet." Serpentbreeze said.

Moonpaw stiffened. "I- I think I know enough herbs to help him until Appleosng-"

"I don't care how much you know, we have to do something and we're all too mouse-brained to know how to stop the bleeding!" Serpentbreeze wailed. "This is my sister's apprentice Moonpaw, her first, Dragonpaw died before becoming a warrior" she finished.

Moonpaw frowned. She grabbed a bundle of herbs in her jaws and followed Serpentbreeze's scent to Littlepaw. She bent down and examined him. She licked his ear affectionately and then applied marigold and cobwebs to prevent infection and stop the bleeding. "I think I did pretty well..." she said nervously, standing back to examin her brother. The cobwebs were already blood-stained. There was no need to tell everyone what his fate was. "I was too late though." she said, bitterness on her tongue. "It'll be a miracle if he survives."

Hornetwing's heart sank, and her blood went cold. "Is he gonna die?" she asked quietly.

Moonpaw dipped her head a little. "His fate is with Starclan..."

Lightwave yowled, hearing Serpentbreeze. "What's happening out there? Where'd Moonpaw go?" she was interupted again with another wave of pain.

"She's not kitting" Applesong said worriedly, gazing at Feralclaw. "She's too anxious."

"He gets it" Lightwave snapped angrily. "Feralclaw, get me water" she ordered bossily. 

Feralclaw licked his mate and nodded, zipping out and returning within a few moments with water-soaked moss. "Please, Calm down Lightwave." He meowed and gently nudged the moss to her.

Littlepaw lay motionless, bleeding badly. His belly movement that showed breathing stopped. But then, the most impossible thing happend. It started up again, very slowly, and one of his eyes opened just a crack, not enough to see. "Scar..... Camp..... prepare....... attaaaaaaacccckkkkkk....." He mumbled before blacking out again.

Scarstar growled to himself as he shoudlered his way into camp. He was in no mood for talking, and most likely would blow up at this time.

Wirepelt's tail flicked nervously. It was against the code for her to be injured by her leader right? She wouldn't mind being demoted, or even banished from the clan. But she didn't want  her fate left to Adderstorm. Of all the cats in camp, he and Scarstar were the two she most feared, Ravenwing a close runner-up.

Moonpaw looked at Sacredstar. "Can you carry him back to camp on your back? By his scruff might deepen his injuries, and Serpentbreeze and Hornetwing are tired, and I'm way too small." 

Hornetwing's face was blank with grief. "Littlepaw's going to die" she repeated under her breath, not sure whether to be angry or sad. "Maybe if I were easier on him that first day, maybe then he would have been more healthy to battle. Maybe if I had just gone with him when he went hunting..." she continued her mumbles.

Serpentbreeze sighed. "I'll go ahead and tell Owlcomet and Rogueheart if she's awake."

Featherstorm looked down at her paws, not even feeling hungry anymore. "I can carry him" Featherstorm volunteered, looking towards Sacredstar for approval.

Lightwave sighed, her heart still beating frantically. She eagerly lapped the water from the moss. "Thank you Feralclaw" she said shortly, before laying her head on the ground to rest. "I don't really feel like kitting anymore." she said softly with a yawn.

Applesong's fur prickled in alarm. "No no no Lightwave! It's too late now, you have to stay awake! The kits will die if you don't do it now"

Lightwave licked her lips and then the moss again. "But it's just too much energy..." Lightwave ended in a growl as another wave of pain hit her. 

"No! nononono, you must stay awake, Lightwave!" feralclaw meowed in alarm and nuzzled her. "Please...."

Scarstar looked at Adderstorm. "You shall not touch Wirepelt. i'll deal with him." He hissed and stalked into his den. He narrowed his eyes at Wirepelt. He didn't say a word, just stared at him.

Sacredstar nodded and helped Featherstorm lift Littlepaw. When they arrived back at camp, he motioned for Featherstorm to let Littlepaw slide into a moss nest.

Littlepaw's breathnig was slowly, as his body was limp. Suddenly, his tiny nose twitched, but his eyes stayed closed. "Ho... Horne..... H-Hornet..... Hornetwing.....?" He whispered.

((Wirepelt's a girl. O.o))

Wirepelt bent her head in shame, her tail curled defensively around her paws. Her scruff was ruffled nervously.

Adderstorm flicked his tail in acknowledgement. "Hey Ravenwing, would you like to go hunting with me and Frostbreath?" he asked. The young black tom with the white fleck between his shoulder blades stood up happily, padding up beside Adderstorm.

((Ooops, forgot the rest of the post. LOL))

Lightwave growled again, glaring at Applesong and Feralclaw. "You two are not the boss of me!" she snapped. Her tail lashed, full of energy again.

((Poor Lightwave's a moody mess. DX)) 

"They'll suffocate if she doesn't make up her mind soon" Applesong mumbled frustradedly. "Fine Lightwave, do whatever you want," she said in a sweet tone, trying to calm her down.

Lightwave snorted softly, and the first kit came, finally. An under-sized tabby she-cat. It coughed and sputtered helplessly as Applesong snatched her away to groom her. He handed the little weak kit over to Feralclaw gently. "Be careful..." she said softly.

((That one's mine, what do you want yours to look like? I'm going to make it have a twin that is too weak and dies and then later visits the two kits that lived from Starclan. They can be prophecy kitties! :D My kit is named Rosekit, and I'll play the one who goes to Starclan who'll name herself Rasberrykit.))

Featherstorm dipped her head and let Littlepaw to the nest gently.

Hornetwing's eyes widened. "Rest Littlepaw" she commanded. "Don't waste your breath on words" 

Ravenwing rolled her eyes and nodded. "Aren't you the polite cat?" She meowed yteasingly. "Where shall we hunt?"

Scarstar growled. "To be a deputy you must listen to what your leader tells you! Fightwhen you are told!" He raged, his tail lashing. His face softened at her horrified ex
pression. "You need to stand up for youself. don't let Adderstorm annoy you."

Ferallcaw snarled at her. "Do you want our kits to die?! All so you can fall asleep and not give a care in the world?!" He snapped. He calmed down and nodded, gently licking the kit.

((Uhm, Mine shall be a cat with a chesnut brown pelt, female, Named Acornkit. May I do one more? If so, pure white with blue eyes, whitekit. She's blind.))

Littlepaw looked up pitifully at his mentor. "B-But......" He mumbled, but couldn't stay awake to protest anymore. He lay his head down weakly and fall asleep again.

((Can you make her deaf instead? Blind is kinda cliche in my opinion))

 Lightwave hissed. "Do you really need to yell at me for something I'm not going to do?" she snapped.

Applesong hissed at Feralclaw. "Stop it, the last thing she needs is stress right now!"

Hornetwing dipped her head and licked Littlepaw's ears before leaving the medicine cat's den and going towards her own, curling up in her nest thankfully after such a long day.

Owlcomet blinked his eyes open. Rogueheart was still sleeping. "Why is Littlepaw here?" Owlcomet asked drowsily. "Wait- why is he covered in blood? What happened?" he asked in hushed panic.

Moonpaw bristled. "Littlepaw got attacked by rogues pretending to be a clan, and almost killed without reason."

Owlcomet snarled softly, his tail lashing. "I'll kill whoever did this to him..." he meowed.

"We think it was the leader, if he was accepted into Starclan he'll have nine lives." Moonpaw said.

"Then I'll kill him nine times" Owlcomet snapped. He padded out into the camp, only to hear Lightwave's yowling.  Ashamed that he was missing his sister's kitting, he added into the nursery, overhearing the last of Lightwave's rant. "Why are you pestering her like that?" he said to Feralclaw. "You need to back up a little, give her some space, and for the love of Starclan, give her the kit."

Applesong glanced at Owlcomet, and then realized what he was saying was true. Both cats were hovering over the panicking Lightwave, only making her feel cramped and annoyed. She backed up, ashamed, and motioned with her tail for Feralclaw to do so as well. Owlcomet motioned to Feralclaw.

"Sit behind her where she can't see you and comfort her by whispering, not yelling. That helped Rogueheart, and she surely had a bigger litter.

Wirepelt looked down ashamed. "I just don't know what happened, I just froze in the heat of it all. It wasn't Adderstorm that bugged me then, it was the cat named Hornetwing. She had the same air of superiority that Adderstorm has, and she's against us, and I just froze. Adderstorm is the type of cat I want on my good side, but that she-cat... I don't think I could help being on her bad side."

Frostbreath's puffed his chest out proudly, and Adderstorm flicked his tail in half amusement and half annoyance. "There were birds fluttering everywhere near my old two-leg garden" he said cheerily. "The two-legs throw seeds at them, so they're really fat and not very fast."

"Is it within our boundaries?" Adderstorm asked. "We can't risk a go-at with Bloodclan and Cloudclan, they'd only align themselves and drive us away"

"No, it's what Gingerstorm and I marked this morning on the patrol Wirepelt sent us on." Frostbreath said.

"Well Ravenwing? It's up to you." Adderstorm said, gazing at his sister expectantly. 

((Uhh, Okie.))

Feralclaw growled "Is your mate having kits...?" He hissed under his breath, too annoyed to understand it was her job. He looked crossly at Owlcomet and set the kit next to Ligthwave, only backing up two steps.

Littlepaw stirred abit when he was licked, but didn't move.

~

Ravenwing stared out absently. "I think we shoudln't risk a war. Who knows what Scarstar will do next, if he was willing to kill a kit." She meowed darkly.

Scarstar hissed. "You need to not freeze of like a kit seeing a dsog for the first time!" He snarled, his tail lashing. "Go to your den, I must think."

Lightwave hissed angrily, standing up weakly to strike Feralclaw across the face. "If you want them you can have them!" she snapped, shoving the first kit towards Feralclaw roughly. The kit squealed in terror and alarm, clinging to Feralclaw's fur and kneading his paw fur, grasping for milk. Lightwave groaned and collapsed in a heap on the ground.

Owlcomet hissed at Feralclaw. "If you're going to be a bother than you can leave!" he said, hating to see his sister this way. "Lightwave could die, and it'd be your fault!"

"Yes Scarstar" Wirepelt said, she dipped her head, not wanting to carry on arguing, even though she knew she could defend her pride- if she wanted to be seriously hurt by her leader. She ducked out of the den with her tail dragging behind her and skipped into her own den before any cat could question her.

Frostbreath dipped his head respectfully at Ravenwing's decision.

"Maybe we could go along the edge of Bloodclan territory?" he recommended. "Even if we accidentally go over, its not like they need prey for themselves." Adderstorm said.

((Oh gsh, forgot others. XD))

Scarstar growled under his breath and curled up, falling asleep.

Ravenwing looked thoughtful, but still dark in her ex
pression. "I suppose."
