((who is shadowpaw's mentor?)) Shadowpaw trotted over to Wolfpaw. "Hey Wolfpaw." She mewed. She sat down and licked her paw before brushing the fur on her head. She stood up and picked a small wood mouse from the fresh-kill pile. "What are you doing today? Are you going out with your mentor?" She asked. She had just been made an apprentice six nights ago and she was still excited about being an apprentice.
Current Goal: Hatch a Black and Albino Shaefu. Get all Dye Kit Color Shaefu. 2 Dyes so far and 4 Shaefu Hatched. Thread up in Ads if you want to see what I'm selling.

"Okay." Shadowpaw said enthusiastically. "Are we going to practice our fighting technique's?" She asked, getting down into a crouch and wiggling her behind. "Or maybe we could practice our tracking skills or..." She broke off, realizing she was babbling. "nevermind. Let's go." She said sheepishly and ran off toward the entrance and exit to the camp.

"You go right ahead and try" mewed Cougarstealth as he swung his large head over to face her. His powerful shoulders flexed and his shirt ripped. as he lifted his head to taste the air, "Well Flyingpaw, seems your in luck. Fresh squirrel scent coming from here."

Rainstar walked beside her apprentice, "We are going to practice catching prey." she meowed. "Now, Rabbits smell you before you catch them, Mice, however, can hear you pawsteps on the ground. Try to stalk a mouse with light steps." Featherstorm ran beside Shadowpaw, "Yes, now you find the best spot to practice fighting and combat." she meowed and slowed her pace so that Shadowpaw could take the lead. Flyingpaw felt a surge of energy from her side. "What do I do?" |

Shadowpaw streaked past Featherstorm. Where's the best place to train? she thought. She sniffed the air. The river is that way. Yuck, I definitely don't want wet paws. If we go over here, I know that there is a small sandy hollow. That's where the apprentices usually train and where Featherstorm takes me. Shadowpaw turned to the left and headed in the direction of the hollow, knowing the path by heart.

Wolfpaw purred, "no problem." she meowed quietly, ligtening her footsteps and watching where her paws touched the ground, to prevent them from breaking leaves. She stepped over a branch, and her back leg got cought on it. She fell to the ground, "oof!" she grunted, rising back to her paws, "well that's not right." she meowed.

Featherstorm followed her apprentice, "Very good." she murmured as she followed her apprentice. Flyingpaw pounced forward her belly skimming the tips of the gras.s, then she landed perfectly. "Whoah!!" Rainstar pushed the branch away, "Try again." she meowed, "Then you can try to catch a mouse." |

Wolfpaw nodded, and crept forward with a mind full of focus. Her paws were soundless on the ground and her body moved with a fluid grace.

"Now, you are going to try to catch a real piece of prey... I will be watching you from the trees, I don't want to give you away." explained Rainstar. She padded into the dark bush thicket and easily climbed a tree.

Wolfpaw parted ehr jaws and scented the air. her golden fur was dappled in shadows from the sky. She spoted some drie gr*censored* and slunk over to it, to camoflage herself. After a few moments, she heard a scuffling sound. A mouse. The savory scent wafted over her and she dropped into the hunters crouch. She could see the mouse now, nibbling on a broken acorn. She crept up behind it, and let her paws spring forward, lading on top of it. She killed the mouse with a swift bite to the neck before it could make a sound. She whispered a quick thanks to StarClan, then proudly picked up her kill.

"Amazing catch Wolfpaw," meowed Rainstar jumping down from the tree. she padded over to her apprentice. "I will be going back to camp now, If you would like, you can hunt fro a little longer... But make sure that you are back at camp by sun-high.." Rainstar padded toward her den for a quick rest. She breathed in and let the warm sent of Stormclan flood her hose. Then she drifted off to sleep. Darkness was everywhere. Rainstar padded onward, her white spotted silver pelt barely showing. " Hello?" she meowed, her voice echoed around the open moorland. "Hello new leader." meowed a strong voice behind Rainstar. Rainstar turned to see the huge body of Snowstar, the Old Stormclan leader. "Hello Snowstar.... " Rainstar meowed. The huge white cats deep blue eyes stared into Rainstar. "There is a Prophesy..." he murmured, and the surroundings began to get lighter. "The Wet Feathers of a high Flying dove in the Rain are brought into sight by the Curse of the Wolf at Fullmoon." Snowstar meowed. "There are three of them. With extrotinary powers. They live among you... Even closer than you think..." Snowstar meowed. "No Snowstar!" Rainstar yowled but the white cats body had already faded into the stars. Rainstar awoke, "The Wet Feathers of a high Flying dove in the Rain are brought into sight by the Curse of the Wolf at Fullmoon. What could that mean..?"

"Good job Flyingpaw" encouraged the blind warrior, "Let's go back to camp so you can deposit your prey then we can go practice your battle skills." Wetpaw padded up to Wishcomet, "Can we go battle training today Wishcomet?" his blue ees pleaded as he hoped for a positive answer.
