Leigh woke up with a fright when her dad shouted. "Dad, what's wrong?" asked Leigh quickly. "What? Oh, sorry didn't mean to wake you. Just almost ran over a mongoose." her dad said. Relieved, Leigh looked out the window they were nearly there, so close. They followed a car down the drive way. Leigh jumped out the car took her bags out and waved her dad off, he had to go to a meeting, the head mistress, Mrs Smith, came out. "Hello Mrs Smith!" Leigh said warmly. Mrs Smith came over, "Hello Miss Grey, can I help you?" "Yes please, I don't know where everything is yet." Leigh replied. "Well, I am pretty busy so I will find someone." Mrs Smith spoke while looking around. 

Alice went down the driveway with Kendall driving. "Bye Kendall, good luck for the comp!" Alice shouted. Kendall gave thumbs up and raced off. Alice saw Mrs Smith talking to the newbie and Alice went over to show her around. "Hi Mrs Smith, want me to show her around?" Alice spoke calmly. Mrs Smith looked around for a better person and the said, "Okay Alice." and with that Mrs Smith stomped off. Alice showed Leigh around showing her the 4 houses. 2 for boys which were Lexington Special and Badminton the 2 girls were Bomble and Vegas Unite. Alice showed Leigh her horse Lightning and Leigh showed Alice Midnight. Alice took her to the boarding house board with who there roommates were. Leigh carried her bags with her and Alice took hers. Alice looked at the board, "We're not together, but not for long." Alice said. Alice crossed the name next to hers and wrote Leigh and swapped it around so Leigh's and Alice's roommates were roommates now. "I can't believe you did that!" Leigh said. Alice shrugged and walked up the stairs with Leigh in tow. They got their room and unpacked. Then they sat on their beds and chatted.
