Hakuhatsu leapt from one roof to another, and suddenly sensed a new presence nearby, and recognised it instantly. he turned behind. "Hitsugaya taichou?" he saw that he was right. "Yeah, where were you rushing off to?" He asked in his same, cold tone. "Uhm, nowhere really. I was just gonna look for Rukia." he replied. "What are you doing here, in the real world?" Hitsugaya turned away and stammered "Well... Well i had to... To uhmm... Tell Hinamori something... Uhm... I heard you... You cam here with her and I uhmm, I just wanted to.. Uhm, tell her something... Yeah. Do you know where she is?' Hitsugaya replied without turning around to look at hakuhatsu. "Hinamori was posted west of here. You'll find her somewhere there." Hakuhatsu smiled. "Uhm, yeah, i know. But, I don't exactly... know how to make up for my absence... i was wondering if you would help me think something up..." HItsugaya scratched the back at his head and shot Hakuhatsu a sheepish look. "So, you're giving me all the dirty work eh? I'll come up with something, though i don't guarantee they'll believe what I say." Hakuhatsu laughed. "uhm, well, Heh, yeah thanks anyways." He turned around and was about to leave when Hakuhatsu called out, "I'll just tell em Hitsugaya's reached that age." hitsugaya whipped his head around with a worried glint in his eyes. "no, please, don't. I... No. Uhm-" He stammered. "Yeah yeah. Look, you know I almost NEVER speak the truth when it comes to these kinda things. I'll concoct some believable story. Now you go on your little date with Hinamori-kun." Hakuhatsu winked at Hitsugaya, who looked back annoyed, before taking off into the darkness.

Rukia... Hakuhatsu thought. Where are you?

Ichigo woke up that next morning.

Annekeh let out a sigh of relief. Toshiro wasn't in her house, nor Grimmjow. She flipped on the light in the kitchen and looked in the fridge. No food. "Guess it's time to go to the store." She yawned and hopped in the shower before heading out.

Artremis sat on the couch and flipped through the channels. Nothing was on. "I wonder what Ookami is doing?"

"Ichigo. I'm going." She leapt off the window sill and jumped behind wall just in time to hide from Asano and Mizuiro, who had come to pick Ichigo up from school. Damn... I can't let them see me here. Hurry up and get a move on Ichigo, i don't wanna be late like you. Unfortunately for Rukia, Ichigo wasn't aware of her situation and arrived downstairs late. Completely missing here as he walked past the corner where she was hidden, he walked away with Asano and Mizuiro.

She had to wait for them to get out of sight, which already took quite a while, then she'd have to take an alternate route more than twice as long. Now i'm gonna be late. She ran about half the distance and her breathing got heavier and heavier. Suddenly, she sense something, or somebody following her. "Who's there?" she shouted, as she took on a defensive stance, thinking it was a hollow. She was about pop Chappy into her mouth when a shadowy figure appeared. "Need a lift?"

"H..Hakuhatsu t.... t... taichou?" she stammered, and started to blush fiercely. "I... Who... WHat are you doing... Wait before that, what did you just say?" Hakuhatsu flopped off the tree branch in front of her. "D'you need a lift young lady?" He smirked. "You gonna be late if ya keep dallyin ya know. And i know the little princess wouldn't never be late." He lowered his gaze and smiled.

"I..." Rukia hesitated. "I ain't gonna take no for an answer. C'mon," he grabbed her and tossed her on to his back like a lightweight. "Hold on yo, this is rush hour fo' ya." he laughed as he took to the sky.
