After she sat, Nathaniel sat down. He felt something prick him, and realized he still had that rose. "Oh, I forgot, this is for you." He placed the rose in front of her, then smirked back. "Happens to be mine too. She acts just like Athena, too. So smart and agile." He paused. "Aw, Gir? I love that character from Invader Zim. And yes, I do watch that, sue me. Mixed breeds make the best dogs, anyway. Did you adopt him?" So far, the was going well. Nathaniel hadn't tripped once, which was a record, considering he was a klutz, and this Masa girl seems to like animals, so he thought they should get along fine. ~ Amadeus shrugged. "I don't know, but I'm starving. And I still think they'd be quite a handful." He picked up his menu, glancing at the food. The first thing to catch his eye, was a rice dish, made with pork. He loved rice, it was one of his favorite things to cook. "So what shall you order? I'm going to get the pork and rice, I enjoy rice quite a bit."

Masa smiled and took the rose. "It's beautiful. I love Invader Zim too. My brother has a cat named Zim and Akila has a cat named Dib."She smiled. "Rusty's a good dog. But he's a handfull. Well, I was on Craigslist.org and I saw the picture and I fell inlove. I didn't care to read the diion."

Aza Was late for the date. She looked around for anyone who was sitting alone. She took a deep breath trying not to freak and went up to a guy in a green suite. "Excuse me." She said her voive weak. "I am looking for a..." Her voice trailed off. She didnt know his name. "well I..." She didnt know what to say so with out thinking she said. "I am on a blind date and well do you know any one here that may be waiting for me." She gasped for air as she said that quickly. ((Fail Dx)) |

Late, late, late. Matthew was always running late. But of course tonight he'd nearly done it on purpose; his stomach was in knots and his hands were slightly shaky. He was nervous as hell, and he wasn't sure why. He'd been on dates. Everyone he knew had been on dates. But then, this was different! He reached up to gently caress his dark brown bangs, blue-grey eyes anxious. He was meeting a boy named Locto. Locoto? Looto? Oh god, he was forgetting his name already. He felt like he might panic and run, but tugging his black beanie down a little further and straightening his white "Lost Prophets" shirt, he stepped forward, unsure of how to find the boy. He chewed on his thumb nail, and finally decided to take a seat by the window. Knowing his luck, the poor guy thought he'd stood him up and had left. And Matty'd gone through the trouble of wearing his nicest pair of ripped jeans, too.

Matty glanced up as he heard the bell over the door ring. He paused, remembering his friends deion; well, he fit it. Mostly. He stood, nearly tripping over his own two feet. Great first impression! He sighed, trying to calm himself, and made his way forward. With a shy smile, he asked, "Uh.. 'Scuse me, but are you by any chance.. Locto?" He hoped he got it right. Prayed even, and he wasn't even religious.

Matty let loose a sigh of relief. At least he was handsome. He nodded, gently tugging at the bottom of his shirt. He had a pulling problem; his clothes were typically stretched thanks to this. "Yes, I'm Matthew," he *censored*ured him. "But you can call me Matt or Matty, less formal." He didn't think a date should be formal. It should friendly and casual. "Uh.. you.. you want to sit down?"

"S-sure."Locto said. He usually was never nervous like that. He took a deep breath as he sat down. His phone went off. The song Breakdown by Seether came on, since it was one of his ringtones. He turned his phone off.

Matty took a seat and smiled at the tone. "That's a good song," he said lightly. "I would love to see Seether live.. I've only been to one concert, and it was some underground band at my high school. They were awful." He scrunched his nose, the ring in it flipping up the slightest bit. He unconsciously reached up to pull it back down. "So... so how do these things work? I've never done this before." He blushed, hoping the other didn't think he was a dolt.
