Shaaka glared disdainfully at Sara. "Well, since neither of you know who I am, I shall tell you myself. Sit down!" she commanded, pointing at the ground. ((Shaaka's actually about 300 years old. In the 1700's she lived in England with her parents, who were rich vampires with a lot of servants. She's used to being obeyed. When she moved to the New World in the mid-1800's, her accent faded.))

((Bye!)) Shaaka sat down across from them. She stared at the silver ring on her finger, the only remanent she had of her past... other than her obsession with the hunt. "I have been alive for over three hundred years," she began. "I was born in England. I was raised by my parents, who were also vampires. They lived in the richest part of the city. We had many servants, all of which her blood donors to us. "One day, a young child was hiding in our botanical garden when my father walked up to the gardener and bit his neck. My father never noticed the child. That was his downfall. The child told his sire, who told the mayor of town. "It was midnight," Shaaka continued, her eyes brimming with unshed tears. "The humans came, with torches and stakes. I hid in the forest, where no one could find me. My parents were not as lucky. The humans killed them." She twisted the ring on her finger. "From that night on, I swore to destroy as many humans as I could on all Hallow's Eve. No one would notice... Until they found the bodies. Within a few decades, long after I stopped aging, I was the most feared creature in the world. I still am. "In the mid-1800's," she went on, glancing up at them, "I moved to the New World. No one had heard of me here. I am even more feared here than I was in England. People started calling me the Bloodnight, because at night on all Hallow's Eve, I would spill as much human blood as I could. And tomorrow is all Hallow's Eve," she said, eyes brightening. "And I get to kill again."

John's eyes widened at this macabre story. "Um... Okay?" He asked, now throughly freaked. He was sure he had heard of her now. In fact, he distinctly remembered last Halloween's headline: 'BLOODNIGHT STRIKES AGAIN!'

((She used to be more nice... She resembles me now.)) Shaaka led the way to where a herd of deer were resting. "Watch," she told him. She climbed quickly up into the nearest tree. She measured the distance for a moment, then leapt out of the tree and sank her fangs into the lead buck's neck.
