If I don't have too much homework, I'll probably get on later today to post as well, after Megabyte and whoever else does.

Jasmine Brogan was by no means an easy girl for vampires to pray on. She might have been physically weak in her human form, but when she used her ability to shapeshift into something else (usually something deadly, or at least something that could make a quick getaway) it was very difficult for potential attackers to land a hit on her. Another thing was that vampires rarely ever got within 6 metres of the girl without suffering some sort of injury. Jasmine knew about the condition of her blood; known as 'white blood', the trait was remarkably rare, and had the effect of almost instantly healing any sickness or injury that Jasmine (or anyone who consumed the blood) sustained, but had a terrible side-effect; the scent of the blood was irresistable for vampires, and was also addictive to them once first tasted. It was for that exact reason that Jasmine was running as fast as she could (still in human form) through the woods...moments before, she had sustained a cut to the side of her neck when she was traversing some rather tangled forest thorn-plants, and even though only a single drop of blood had managed to escape the wound before it sealed itself up, Jasmine knew that if a vampire was in the vicinity, one drop was enough to give her presence away.

She ran as fast as she could, wanting to avoid shapeshifting unless it became absolutely necessary. Unfortunately for her, there was a vampire in the area, and he HAD detected the scent of her blood. Drake 'D' Shadow wasn't particularly hungry, but when he caught the scent of blood...immediately his attention was caught, for he had never smelt anythign quite so irresistable. He licked his lips at the scent and turned in the direction from which it had come from.

"Midnight snack, anyone?" D said, seemingly to himself, with a slight laugh. He started to walk, because he knew that if the prey, whatever that may turn out to be, was bleeding then he would catch up eventually. He could turn to his speed if need be.

OOC: hope you don't mind that i decided to reply! xD off to music theory homework, lol.

BIC:
'She's late,' he thought bitterly, looking down at his cellphone, 'thirty minutes late.'
For every five minutes that passed, it became routine for Theodore to take his cellphone out of his pocket just to check the time, as if expecting the girl to show up at any second (or at least call about her absence, since she didn't seem to reply to any of his missed calls). Here he was, loitering out on the sidewalk by a cafe and glaring at anybody who even dared to look at him.  All that he asked of Evelyn was to meet him here to talk, maybe grab a drink of coffee while they discussed his brother. Was that too much to ask for? Apparently so.
Theodore shoved his hands in his coat pockets, along with his phone. He had a feeling of where she could be. Although it wasn't too much of a deal that she had stood him up, he still felt kind of responsible over her and what she did. The anger that he had just felt moments before dissipated, and Theodore took another glance at the cafe before heading across the street. The other side of the road held the beginning of a tree line, a place that he knew very well. He smiled and ran a hand through his hair at past thoughts, disappearing behind a few trees as he tried to recall the place Evelyn might be at.
And he found her alright, deep in the woods as she churned the dirt from the ground and planted another flower. As pointless as Theodore thought the gesture was, especially in a place no one would really be able to see, he said nothing about the little garden. Instead, simply deciding to shout out to her and walk over. Evelyn stopped what she was doing and whipped her head over to Theodore, momentarily confused as to who was there before recognizing him and suddenly frowning.
"Yo dude, you had me standing at the cafe for freaking hours, what in the world was-"
"Theodore," she interrupted, removing her gardening gloves from her hands as she stood and began to walk towards him.
She stared at the wolf man oddly and was about to start speaking again until something very near caught her sight, another girl running for what seemed like her life. Evelyn didn't know what she was doing after that: she flung her gloves down and sprinted a few feet to the right to grab a hold of the girl's arm, hoping to stop her or at least slow her down.
"Hey! What's wrong? Is someone chasing you?"
Theodore followed closely after her, losing interest in bickering at Evelyn with the abrupt change of events.

Leanna was walking through the forest when she heard someone running. She quickly turned invisible, and saw a girl run past her. She sucked in her breath, and it burned through her throat. That had been so close, she had never really been seen before, maybe a person here and there, but generally no one had seen her. It wasn't like she made it easy. The slightest noise made her turn invisible. It was starting to become involuntary, which wasn't great either. If she ever wanted to make friends, some one would have to see her eventually. She heard a voice off in the distance, faint but still there:

"Midnight snack, anyone?"

Vampire. The word rang through her head. Luckily, her smell, her voice, and any noise she made was completely concealed by her invisibility, but that other girl didn't seem so lucky. She pressed herself as tightly as she could to the nearest tree. Just because she was invisible, that didn't make her untouchable. She could easily be run into. Of course, if the vampire came this way, he might have another thing coming. She wasn't going to let that vampire run after that girl, even if she was seen. Her invisibility gave her the ability to serve justice, and this was a perfect opportunity to do this. A nice sock to the jaw would be perfect. Yes, if he came along, that would definitely do. She smiled to herself. This would be fun.

Markus tilted his head to one side as a particular scent split through the air. It smelled... so tantalizing. And human. The Greek scowled. He had long since moved off of human blood to survive. Vampire blood is what he drank now. He glanced across the table to his brother. The older vampire looked like he smelled it as well, but also looked disinterested.

"Thélete na páme na deis oúto̱s í̱ állo̱s?" Markus asked as he dropped the cigarette butt on the sidewalk before stomping it out with his boot. When his brother didn't answer, Markus scowled and reached across the table to punch the older vampire on the arm. "Zaou."

"Hm... What?" he asked. Markus rolled his eyes and repeated the question. Zaou cocked his head as a grin curved his lips. "Of course." At that, the two stood, stepping away from the table, and walked leisurely towards were they knew the scent was coming from.

[[ Markus is asking... "Want to go check it out anyway?" ]]

God almighty, are there more?

She strained her ears. It wasn't a superpower, but her hearing was unnaturally good. She heard even more distant voices.

I can't fight three, but if they come, I'll have to try.She heard two of them coming nearer and nearer. They were obviously together, and the other one was a loner. I can't just let the poor girl be chased. I don't know what about her is so darn tantalizing to vampires, but something must be done. I just can't leave her, even if there is something special about her. I hope she never finds out about me. That would be so embarrassing.

An invisible blush rose to her cheeks. Anyone who knew about her she dreaded to meet again. having anyone knowing about her powers sent shivers up her spine. She was so alone, but it was better than being hunted.

She breathed in deeply as she heard footsteps. They were relatively close to her, she wouldn't have much time on what she planned to do. She closed her eyes and relaxed her muscles being on the run had made her strong, and fast too. She snapped her eyes open as she sensed two figures that were only a few feet away from herself. They didn't seem in much of a hurry, just walking leisurely towards her. Her breaths stung in her throat. So long since she had been in a fight, but it was always so exciting.

Now or never. A small voice inside her head said.

Now.

Her fight reflexes kicked in, and she swung her foot up and roundhouse kicked one of them in the head. She socked the other one in the chin, and she felt warm blood seep onto her hand. She smiled to herself and walked off. That would set them back a bit. Now there was only the matter of finding the first vampire she had heard.

Jasmine was stopped when someone grabbed hold of her arm. Normally, being of the short temper that she was, Jasmine would have turned to them and either yelled at them to back off or slap them in the face. But they seemed at least a little concerned for her...she thought it polite to give some reply that wasn't one to offend them.

"There's bound to be vampires on my trail by now...I was bleeding a minute ago and I'm sure vampires must have caught the scent." she said. "That's why I was running...don't want to be bitten by any vampires. My blood is, uh...unusually tantilising for them." Jasmine sighed a little after saying that last comment. Sure enough, her blood had remarkable healing properties for her or anyone who consumed it, but it was also addictive once first tasted by them. How could such a gift become such a curse?

Meanwhile, D was still on the trail of the blood he had smelt just a short while ago. But now he heard something that also drew his attention...the sound of some sort of struggle nearby. Was it worth his attention? Was it worth him coming off the trail of that delicious smell of blood? Once again, curiosity got the better of the rich vampire and he decided to investigate the sound of the brief struggle he had heard.

Jasmine, too, heard the sound of the struggle from where she was, or at least, that was what it sounded like to her. She glanced at the person who had stopped her and turned back towards the noise.

"Oh heck...that's got to be vampires..." Jasmine muttered, sounding more frustrated than scared.

She immediately let go of Jasmine's arm when the girl turned her head towards her, sensing a disturbance that leaked off of her. Evelyn narrowed her thin eyebrows as she listened to her speak, rushed and in a hurry. She soaked in every word and tried to make sense of the situation before her: vampires. Normally, someone of another stature might have thought of this strange girl as foolish, unrealistic, and maybe even crazy, but Evelyn herself had had her fair share of problems with the supernatural. Of course, she wasn't too average, either.
Jasmine's story seemed to have the opposite affect on Theodore, who couldn't help but cackle and shake his head. "Unusual blood? Vampires?"
Evelyn narrowed her eyes in quiet disdain as she turned around to glare at the young man, just a small signal to let him know how much of an oaf he really was.
"You have no room to talk. Just because you've never seen them doesn't mean they don't exist, okay?" she explained, hoping to make some sort of point with him, "besides, you turn into a wolf. Hardly realistic at all, hm?"
Theodore's eyes widened for a split second before he narrowed them and sent his own glare back at her. "Why would you say that in front of a stranger?" he asked loudly, pointing in Jasmine's direction.
"Shh!" Evelyn took note of what Jasmine heard and looked in the direction of the trees as well, a small rush of fear coming to her as she imagined who could be out in the woods with them.
"Theo, I'm going to check it out, stay with her," she whispered, pointing over to Jasmine before slowly slinking through the trees where she assumed the noise was coming from just a minute ago.
Theodore look at her retreating form with a "are you really being serious?" sort of face, before rolling his eyes.
"Okay, okay, it was probably just an animal, anyway," he mumbled, but Evelyn wasn't listening. Instead, he turned his attention on Jasmine. "Think we should actually stand around and wait for her or do you want to take off again? I'm sure you'll be fine, with your weird blood or whatever." he paused in his speaking, eyebrows knitted together as if it took too much energy for him to think properly. Jasmine's reactions and emotions that she showed seemed to be too realistic for her to be lying, "Wait, are you even being serious about what you said?"

As Leanna was walking away, she heard the first vampire drawing ever nearer to her, and her blood started racing again. She knew that nothing she did could be visible at all, but it still felt like she was out in the open with no protection around her. She heard more footsteps, and they sounded more like a human girl than a vampire.

Shoot, this is going to be messy, and hard too.

She jumped up into a tree, the normal creaking of the limbs muffled by her powers. She had a feeling that the vampire would pass by this way, and her feeling seemed to be slightly correct. The vampire passed a couple trees over, and she nimbly jumped over.

What if I'm wrong, and these vampires mean that girl no harm? What would happen? That would be so awful, I don't even no where to begin, but the chances that it is like that are so slim, you have to do this. Don't be a wuss, they won't die.

She saw the last vampire pas.s under her. Now or never again, and she chose now.

She jumped out of her tree when he was right under her. Her foot crashed into his chest, and it might have stopped his heartbeat for a second or two. He fell on the floor with her weight, and she scrambled off of him, scurrying into another tree. It was to late for her to realize that her invisibility had disappeared for a few seconds while she had been on top of him. She had been seen, heard, and he knew what she looked like. She swore under her breath.

He saw you. No one sees you. You can't be spotted. This isn't real. This can't be happening.

She silently sobbed in the tree. She would have to leave all of her friends she had made now.

Clare. I have to leave Clare. No, no, no!

Her sobs turned into wails, and she was glad that she could not be heard. Clare was her only good friend she really had. No more Clare was like some girls being banned from their cell phones permanently. It was something you just couldn't like without.

She waited to see if the vampire boy was okay. It wouldn't be good to just leave someone there defenseless, even if he was a vampire.

Jasmine nodded as the girl who had stopped her went to go check out the source of the noise, though needless to say she was far less than thrilled to be left with the other figure, a young man who could apparently turn into a wolf and who had a rather annoying personality. Well, Jasmine wasn't about to play nice for much longer; if he annoyed her any more then, by golly, he'd know about it!

Which meant, of course, when he said 'weird blood', referring to Jasmine, her temper very nearly snapped right then and there. But she just about managed to restrain herself when the stranger asked if she was being serious. Jasmine nodded.

"Yes, I'm being serious. You might not think it's true, but the vampires are real and probably on my trail." she said. "It's true. You wanna hear something else that's true but you probably won't believe? Well, I'm a shapeshifter. I can transform into pretty much anything I want...wolves included. But not people." She paused a moment, feeling slightly smug but this did not register on her face. Until the slightest of grins began to play at Jasmine's lips.

"Don't believe me, hmmmmmm? Then I'll just have to convince you otherwise." she said. She then proceeded to transform into a Maned Wolf, then a cobra of some kind, then a hummingbird and back to human form again.

"There...that should be enough proof for you that I'm a shapeshifter...and if shapeshifters are real then surely vampires could be too, am I right?" she said. "And I think it's about time I stopped running...ha, if any vampire comes after me then I don't want to go down without a fight!"

Meanwhile, when D was struck by the stranger, he merely had time to yell out a cry of pain and stumble backwards. For a second or two he couldn't breathe, but then he recovered his breath and slowly got up, looking around. He had caught a brief glimpse of his attacker though he had not seen them for long enough to tell who they were.

"That was...painful..." D muttered to himself, before looking around. He couldn't see the stranger now, either. Then he chuckled a little to himself.

"All this chaos...is making me hungry..." he muttered, though he did not start walking yet, instead trying to work out where his intended target had gone.

Leanna saw him get up and breathed a sigh of relief. he didn't seem to be searching for her, but the first girl.

Oh, wait, that's terrible, he's searching for the first girl.

She watched him cautiously. There was no way she would risk blowing her cover again, but just letting him chase the girl was definitely not her style. More like drop kick people in the head until they give up. And not be seen. She couldn't ever be seen again, it would ruin her whole good vs. evil thing, and basically ruin her life. Who knows, that vampire might have already seen her and recognized her, but it was worth the risk to keep following him. Being shy had always kept her from having too much fun, and she had finally found something entertaining. Her silvery eyes scanned the surrounding area. There were a bunch of trees clumped closely together, and it would be perfect to follow the vampire as most of the branches were low to the ground. She had to keep an eye and an ear out for the other two vampires as well, she wouldn't want all of this to happen just so the girl got bitten by one of them. She perched up in her tree, waiting for him to make a move, or to hear anything. The forest seemed deathly quiet, like it was waiting for something interesting to happen.

So, I'm just waiting here now? This is so boring. I came to help for some action, not to just sit around. Seriously, do something!

She sighed and leaned against the tree. Hopefully something cool would happen, or she would be enticed to leave, and then she couldn't keep an eye on all those vampires. She had always been prayed on, maybe because she was hard to find and it made it more interesting for them to find a completely invisible target. This was a great opportunity to figure out who was who in this town.
