"No... Not Ben...", Leena breathed, tears dripping from the corners of her eyes, "He can't be dead.... " She wanted to smash something, to destroy the entire base. Instead, she buried her face in her hands and wept, right there in front of her friends. How could he be dead, just like that? She shook as the tears came, barely able to believe what Silent was telling her. But he would never lie or joke about something like this. She finally managed to stop, and looked up. More bravely, but still obviously upset, Leena said,"I don't know how I'm gonna survive without Ben by my side, but I'll manage... He will not have died without cause. We will defeat the Nightcrawlers, and than discover the half-bloods, and lock them up to protect the rest of humanity. This war has gone on long enough. Ben's death was one casualty too many."

She sighed, deflating slightly.  "Silent, please, come into the light, I don't enjoy speaking to an unseen person.", she said, sadness still in her voice. Leena had lost Ben, the only man whom she had ever truly loved. Her life had been destroyed in a matter of seconds. She was now more afraid of the shadows than she had ever been before.

When Kari saw Leena break down before her she couldn't help it. She felt tears rush to her eyes too. Soon she was crying. I guess it is true, crying is contageous.

She couldn't imagin what Leena must be going through. Sure Ben was her friend and all but her was more than that to Leena. They had a deep personal connection.

Karienne watched as Leena slowly composed herself and mutter those angry words full of hate. Karienne bit her lip in a way she kinda felt herself agreeing with Leena. She bit her lip and looked down. Her eyes growing wide. She had stopped crying now. She felt very selfish. Her best friend was hurting here but now all Kari could think about was their fearless leader Silent seeing her in her squeaky bunny slippers.

(( Sure Lady. ))

Silent stayed in the shadows. "Yes. Ben is dead. Killed. By....." He paused, trailing off. Slowly, he worded his words silently and carefully. ".... A monster...." He said quietly. He didn't now what to say. That he had done it? That he had lost control when he had seen Ben being picked up the monster and almost torn in two? 

He gritted his teeth and bit his tongue. He didn't want something to slip now. When he needed followers to follow him. Even if he was a monster. When he heard Lenna's request, he bit his tongue harder, wincing as his teeth grew sharper. He forced his werewolf side down. Soon, the moon would be up.

Reluctantly, Silent stepped into the shadows, the black ribbon hiding his yellow wolf eyes. "I'm sorry Leena." He said quietly, unable to ell her the truth. Ben had been like a brother to him. Always helping him and showing him a better way. but now he was gone and Silent was once again plunging down the edge because the path Ben had made was suddenly crumbling into dust.

((Woah that last paraghraph was like deep in a way.))

Karienne looked up and bit her bottom lip. She was still really sad. She forced tears back. No. Wait till I'm hanging out with Lee. Then I can cry with her. She looked back at her friend. Then at Silent.

"You uh,"She swallowed. "You didn't seem them actually kill him did you?"she asked her voice wavering.

Silent froze and automatically, his hands clenched into white fists. You could see him as he gritted his teeth. But you couldn't tell if it was with sorrow, anger, or something else. Slowly, words began to form. "Yes. I saw him killed......" He whispered.

His voice was hollow and almost eerie. An eerie chill settled upon the hall they stood in as Silent tensed as he faintly remembered flicker s of what had happened.

An earshattering roar.... Ben screaming at him to run... The monster charging at them... Silent now a full werewolf, roaring with rage..... Then suddenly, their was Ben, staring him in the face, his eyes glitter-

NO! Silent roared in his head. He did not want to see that memory. His last memory of Ben and is death. He didn't know if he would be able to stand it.

(( Ummm yeah. Basically. Lol and Fenris is either and evil Elcean, good Elean ,or really mean vampire. lol ))

Silent suddenly snarled at her. "I killed it! It's dead! It's head ripped off! Ben died trying to save me from it!" he growled, leaving certain parts out he failed to notice that his growl sounded too realistic. Too wolf. he noticed that his nails had become claws. He clenched his fists and blood seeped from his fingers.

He stuffed his fists in his pockets, trembling as he tried to control himself. Soon. He thought. Soon I can change.  

Jais heart gave a jump as the monster lunged at her. Call her crazy, she seemed to live for danger. She ducked and rolled as the creature flew over her, landed, and wheeled around. She came out of her roll, unsheathing two daggers, not really knowing what good they would do. The blonde girl grinned as it lunged again.

Her grin turned to a grimace as she felt sharp claws on her cheek and felt the warmth of red blood. Ignore the pain...she told herself, as lightning explodedon the side of her face. It's just a message. Dont get cocky... Now her motions were fluid as she did just enough to keep the monster at bay. She managed to injure it every once in a while, but nothing serious. A lull and she chuckeled. "What'd I get myself into this time...?"

Silent remained still. "I didn't know how to tell her..... It just sort o came when I saw her." He said, talking about Ben death's. He shuddered. "It was terrible. That feeling of loss.... As I watched him die in front of me...." He said quietly.

He clenched his fists again and more blood seeped through his fingers.

"Im sorry." Karienne said softly bitting her lip. She looked back and watched Leena run off. She looked back at Silent. She wanted to stay with him cause he seemed just as hurt as Leena. But Lee was her best friend. She looked back at Silent her face hurt. "Hey. I'd better go see her."She said. "So I'll see you later kay?"She said. She waved good bye then turned and followed Leena.

Her slipper made a little squeak. She jumped, then she looked back embarrased and ran up the hall. He shoes making some more squeaks.

She stopped and looked at Ben room. "Lee?"She said as she watched her friend. "Need a shoulder?"
