"Silent...", Leena breathed, watching his transformation, tears in her eyes. It was a most horrible sight to behold, as her friend whom she had known for many years turned into a great and fearsome beast. "Are.. Are you okay?", she asked, slowly approaching him despite his warnings and gently laying a hand on his arm.

Silent withdrew from the touch of her hand and let out a louder warning growl, flashing his teeth at her. He flexed his hands, the claws gleaming. His amber eyes glowed eerily as he glared warningly at her.

((Okay. Random jump in....cause I ish be the Bored. :)) Head tilted to one side, Jai listened intently. Nearly inaudiabal but....yes, there it was again. Human voices. They seemed to be coming....from the sewage grate? A breif thought of mutated turtles crossed her mind, but she shook it away; things as such did not exist. Jai blinked and shook her head again, mentally arguing with herself. With all the stuff goin' on, she thought I don't think anything is impossible anymore... Thoroughly drench, the short blond walked towards the grate and hooked her fingers, grasping the metal and pulling up, muscles straining; it was heavier than it appeared. It came free with almost no trouble after the innitial heave and slid on the pavement, creating a gap just big enough for her slender form to fit through. Slime squenlched under her grasp as she clung to rungs in the side to slide the covering over the man hole yet again. Slowly, carefully, not knowing what awaitid her, she made her decent.

"Silent, please, listen to me...", Leena said softly, "You have to return to normal... Kari can't see you like this, and the others will be back soon as well. No one else needs to know your secret." She backed up this time, allowing him some room. "Just remember who you are, who I am. Calm down."

Silent growled and he licked his lips. He sniffed the air and his ears twitched slightly as he listened. He let out a low growl that ended in a whine. He growled and looked at Leena, the message clear in his eyes. I can't change back. It's a full moon. Not until the night is over can I change back.

Jai crouched over as she made her way down the catacombs, following the voices, every nerve on fire. Her hands were on the wall, waiting to catch the slightest bit of a sign people were down here. Her breath came quietly in long, deep breaths thorough her mouth, unable to smell, but she could taste...an alarming ability when you thought about it...

Jai stopped; the grime on the walls had disappeared, leaving only hard concrete. The voices were growing steadily louder, echoing off the walls. She stretched, loosening tightened muscles, wincing as a trickle of sweat fell into her new wounds on her cut. She could feel her face around the abrasions, growing red and puffy. Need to get them cleaned again...soon.

Karienne paced up and down in her panic room. "Aww screw this." she said. If anything dangerouse happened she would just shoot who ever attacked her. She grabbed the gun on the table a loaded it. She left the room and headed to hers. She changed into a white tank top and close fitting blue jeans. She put the gun in the back og her pants and headed into the kitchen. she could help but think of Silent and Leena. What is she playing at? She thought as she opened the fridge.

Silent instantly withdrew his hand and let out a sharp bark. His eyes pierced hers. He turned and opened the door to the room. Sniffing the air slightly, he prowled out. His eyes glowed eerily in the dark halls. He sniffed the air and the mouthwatering scent of meat wafted past his nose. He drooled and began to pant. Dropping to all fours, he trotted through the halls, his nose in the air as he sniffed out the scent of the meat.

Jai bobbed her head to the fast paced tune which rang in her head, counting steps as beats as she walked, ever alert. I probably look like a dork, walkin' 'round down here with my mouth opened. She chuckled. Of course, they wouldn't e far off.

Another smell intruded with the smell of meat and Silent sniffed the air again, snorted slightly. Humans. More than two. He sniffed the air again and his heart beat faster. Blood. He smelled blood. He licked his lips and he followed the scent trail of the blood, drooling slightly as he trotted down different halls.

Karienne put on the radio in the room of corse there was no noise. She put on a CD and smiled as she moved around the room. She pulled out some frozen bacon and some steaks. As she counted up the number of people in the group. She shrugged and picked out five. She took the bacon and wrapped it around the outside of the steak and then trew put it on the grill. She started whistling along with the music as she worked. She took some potatoes and started peeliung then and cutting then into strips. She threw then into the only pan on the stove and let them cook. She went back to wrapping the steaks.

The smell of blood was steadily getting stronger. He sniffed the ground and something wet touched his nose. He drew back and the strong smell of blood was in his nose. He snorted and wiped the blood off his nose. He continued on, occasionally stepping in a puddle of blood and leaving tracks.

A smell reached her; or rather, a taste. She had a sharper sence of sight, taste, and hearing than most, and was usually able to identify whatever she tasted. This smell, however, was new. It had a slight humaness, as well as canine. Her brow furrowed and she touched the penant hanging from a chord around her neck thoughtfully. With a shrug, she resumed her walk, wanting to meet the source of this new....taste.

Silent sniffed the air and finally, he reached it. It was the body of a nightcraweler. it had been torn to pieces and it's inner scattered across the hall. Blood pooled in every direction. Silent snorted the smell out of his nose and bent over the flesh of the nightcraweler. He took a tentative bite and his mouth watered at the taste. Immeditaly, he started on the nightcraweler, the sounds of bones breaking as he chewed them loud in the hall.

A new sound. Crunching. Something....eating? Jai frowned and followed it, turning down a totally new tunnel. The sickly scent of something dead *censored*ailed her taste buds and she closed her mouth, prefering not to dry heave, if it's all the same to you...

Silent froze, hearing and feeling the vibrations of something watching him. He lifted his head and growled a warning. His body blended with the shadows so the only thing that could be seen of him was his glowing amber eyes. The light above him flickered, occasionally revealing the gory hall and him standing over the dead monster, blood covering his muzzle as he bared his teeth in a warning snarl.
