Wolfheart sat in the sandy hollow, and waited for Adderpaw. Eventually he'd catch on.

Sablepaw yawned and stretched. She blinked at Feralwind.

Feralwind purred, "good morning." Wow his first day as a warrior! He smiled happily.

Adderpaw caught a scent, Wolfheart? He stuck his nose into the warriors den, Wolfheart wasnt there. So where was he? Did he go on patrol? Then it hit him. Battle training, sandy hollow. The dark grey tom made it there in record time, but he remainedunnoticed by his mentor. Lurking in the shadows, he crept silently closer, waiting for the perfect moment to strike. He was rigt alongside Wolfheart, when he lunged, slamming his full weight into Wolfheart, "never let you guard down!" he meowed, who was really teaching the lesson here? he thought.

Poisonfang was out smelling for some more catmint.

Sacredheart was grooming, she wondered if she would be on any patrols..  

Wolfheart rolled to the side and kicked out with his back paws, sending his apprentice flying. "Be ready for counterattack!"

Sablepaw purred, "Morning." 

___

Limefeather crept out of her den, stalking past Sacredheart and out of camp. Distress rolled off of her in waves.

Adderpaw hissed in frustration, he spun and faced Wolfheart, eyes burning with determination. He started to circle his mentor menacingly, teeth bared and a growl wothy of a tiger rumbling in his chest. Althought his claws were sheathed, he treated this as if it were a real fight. He kept his eyes open for a lapse in his mentors guard.

Feralwind blinked, "do you want to go on dawn patrol?" he asked, "we could bring Cougarfeather with, I'm sure she's bored." ((i was bored after finals and drew an adorable picture of how i pictured Feralwind and Sablepaw, I may upload it soon ^^))

Wolfheart sat there and watched him calmly, like he was about to start to share tongues with the apprentice. But he had a sly trick up his sleeve.

Sablepaw smiled. "How about we go alone. You're a warrior now, and I'm sure Cougarfeather wouldn't mind at all."

Limefeather ignored him icily and searched for yarrow.

Ravenclaw wandered out of the camp.

Adderpaw watched Wolfheart warily, suddenly, he pounced, hitting Wolfheart square in the chest.

Feralwind purred, suit yourself. He smiled, "lets go then," he said, padding out of camp.

Wolfheart was ready. When Adderpaw's front paws hit his chest, he bent backwards so he was lying on his back, and ten kicked up with his back paws. They met Adderpaw's stomach and he went flying.

Wolfheart sat back up and started to clean behind his ears innocently.

Sablepaw followed on wary paws. She didn't know where any thorns were, so she tried to be careful.

Adderpaw hissed, he should have seen it coming. He came forward like he was attacking his mentors left, but making it obvious he was going to lurch right, right as he lept right, he pushed up and jumped straight over Wolfheart, spinning and grabbing the older tom by his neck fur, then lifting up, flipping Wolfheart over his head, then he spun, pinning Wolfheart, but avoiding his poweful back legs by standing off to the side.

Feralwind purred in delight, its my first patrol as a warrior!" He smirked. And I get to spend it with you. He thought, looking directly at Sablepaw.

TADA i drew it after my algebra final today!!! fingers crossed i p*censored* that!!!! my grade is riding on it! if i fail, i retake Algebra next year!!!!!!!!!! but i g2g now!!! sorry!!!!!!))

Wolfheart grinned, "You learned well, Adderpaw. I'd hate to have to meet you in battle." He yawned, "Alright, get off me. You're getting bigger, and I'm getting older you know." He chuckled softly.

Sablepaw glanced up at him blindly and smiled. "And I get to spend it with you!" she mewed happily. "Makes me feel mighty special."

((*refers to picture* i couldnt remember Sablepaw's coloring, so i based her after my moms old cat, Harley, i hopes you liek eet ^^))

Feralwind laughed, "you should, because I aim to be the greatest warrior EVER! better than even the Ledgendary Firestar!" he laughed, "and it's gonna happen!"

Adderpaw let go, chuckling, "be careful Wolfheart, next time I won't go so easy on you." he sat down and started grooming his fur, keeping a watchful eye on his mentor.

Snowdrift padded out of camp, toward the lake where watermint grew. She brethed in the scents and watched the birds in the trees.
