Wow, she could see, there was so much he wanted to show her, "cougarfeather is waiting, so let's go to the lake. I love watching Sunlight reflect on its surface."

Sablepaw frowned, and let her eyes drift around. "But it's so hard to keep it under controll.. There's so much I want you to show me.." her voice was quiet and shaking.

Feralwind laughed, "well, you have plenty of time to see it all." he glanced toward the camp antrance, "let's get to the lake before COugarfaether gets impatient," he winked at her, "hmm, i can use facial expressions around you now, I kinda like it." he laughed, turning and padding toward the camp entrance.

Sablepaw followed warily. She wasn't used to walking and coordinating her sight at the same time. She tripped and fell.

Feralwind looked down at Sablepaw, will it help to walk with your eyes closed?" he teased, "when walking, focus on using just sight, it helps for not running into things, or tripping." he laughed softly.

Sablepaw scowled at him. "Well, sorry. I'm new at this whole sight thing." She stood back up and pinched her eyes shut, using her scent and hearing to follow Feralwind. She didn't hesitate after that; the normal blackness she saw was soothing her.

Once they neared the lake, Feralwind turned to Sablepaw, "open your eyes." he said with a smile. The pretty lake was his favorite place in the forest. He loved the pebbles and the way that even in Greenleaf, they were cold. |

Sablepaw blinked and opened her eyes warily. At first the sunlight blinded her, but she adjusted, and staggered in astonishment. "Is that.. a lake?" She blinked, and glanced at the trees. "Are these trees?" She started to wander around, sniffing at various objects.

Feralwind laughed, "yep, those are trees, and thats a lake, but I will show you things later, we need to go fishing with cougarfaether." he said, pointing to the Tawny she-cat perched at the edge of the lake, "But Remember, she still thinks your blind, so be clumsy." he winked and prowling up behind Cougarfeather, "boo!" he yowled. __ Cougarfeather leapt up in terror, when she landed, she slipped and splashed into the cold water, "Feralwind!" she complained, "thats cold!" She glared at Feralwind and tried her best to act mad as he laughed. |

Sablepaw nodded and followed Feralwind, brushing his jibe at her clumsiness away. She mewed a hello to Cougarfeather, but wasn't looking at her. Her eyes were focused on the shimmering lake in front of her. How pretty...

Cougarfeather shook her fur, "hello Sablepaw." she smiled happily, "ready to learn how to fish, this could prove difficult, because of your blindness, but I'm going to teach you how the way Moonsong learned." She explained, "you are going to put just he very tips of your paws in, and feel for the movement the fish make in the water, then slap them in the air and Feralwind will snag them." |

Sablepaw sat at the edge of the water, shadow drifting behind her. She stared into the water, paw held out with claws unsheathed. Ready. A fish swam infront of her, and she scooped it out with her claws and slammed it onto the s*censored*, biting down on it's neck. She smiled.
