Ravenclaw burned under his pelt. "Just escorting her to the river," he muttered. He added playfully, "Now stop questioning your deputy."

Limefeather followed him, quite amused.

Poisonfang nodded stiffly and set them down. "Glad I could have been of as.sistance.."

Sacredheart frowned. "I never said there was a problem with anything Ravenclaw. Don't be part of the problem, be part of the solution." 

"There's no problem to be the solution to."

Limefeather blinked. She teased lightly, "Well, you're no apprentice, but you did well." She chuckled.

"I never said there was a problem," she restated.

"I go through the Medicine cat pile alot," he admitted shrugging.  

"What for?" Limefeather chuckled, "You asking for a stomach ache?"

Ravenclaw growled, "Then please, enlighten me on what you mean." He was irritated now, but only slghtly.

"I know how to treat my own wounds."

Sacredheart only shrugged. "There are no such things as stupid questions, only stupid people," she said icily. Her silky voice now sharp. "I never said there was a problem with anything. I never was getting at anything." 

Ravenclaw restrained himself from saying something really stupid. He spun around, and marched back to where the river was. "Whatever. I'm going to go hang out with one of my friends." he snarled over his shoudler as he disappeared into the bushes.

That interested her. "Really? How so? Please tell me, I'm very much interested now." Limefeather purred, not taking her eyes off of him.

Sablekit tripped, and landed on Sacredheart's tail. She mewed in surprise.

"I grew up without a medicine cat tending to my own wounds. I learned myself," he said quietly.

Sacredheart frowned at him as he left. That was going to leave a mark. She looked at the kit behind her, and she put on a smile. "What are you doing out here?" 

Limefeather frowned. "Have you always been with the clans?" she asked quietly. Her eyes sparkled.

Ravenclaw sat in the spot where Snowdrift was suppost to meet him.

Sablekit blinked her sightless eyes at Sacredheart. "I was following Ravenclaw and Snowdrift. This place is strange. What does it look like?" she mewed.

"Well, we are in front of the tree where my mother kitted me and died. It is a large oak in the middle of a clearing. That is why I usually come here alone. There are alot of bushes here as well..."

"Where did you grow up?" Limefeather mewed. She listened intently.

Sabelkit nodded. "Is it big? It smells kinda big.." the kit squeaked.

"In an alley, in a garbage can."

"Yes, it is actually," she said.  

Sablekit nodded. "How much sunshine is there?" she asked, sniffing the air.

Limefeather nodded. "Was your mother or father a clan cat?"

"There are a couple of rays here and there," she said.

"No. My mother and father where rouges...I guess."  

Sablekit blinked again. "Is there a lot of rocks?"

Limefeather nodded. She asked carefully, "Then how did you.. find...the clans?"

"There is a couple," she said shrugging.

"I er...ran into the deputy and er...had his mouse that he buried from an earlier hunting trip.."
