Snowdrift blinked and turned away, she dashed to her den and set down her herbs, she padded to the den exit, ahd let her tail trail along Ravenclaw's shoulder as she headed into the forrest. She had to talk to him. ____ Demonstar leapt at a rabit and snagged onto its fur, dragging it down. She gave it the lethal bite and said a thanks to starclan before looking around for Wolfheart. |

Rosepaw silently padded back to camp, and curled into her den. "Hey," The voice startled Rosepaw, and she turned around. Foxpaw was standing there, a sloppy grin on hisface. "Foxpaw!" Rosepaw buriedher face in his fur. "Yes, it's me. Whywouldn't it be?"Then his eyes grew suriose. "You're in trouble. your in big trouble." Rosepaw opened her mouth to speak, but Foxpaw interuppted. "Peace takes pain, and pain takes peace. The broken heart mended, then torn apart." Rosepaw opened her eyes. What did he mean? |

Snowdrift didnt know what to say, she waited until they were far enough from camp, "I love you." she murmered, "but it is againt the warrior code. . . ." she trailed off, part of Starclans message burning in her mind, Love is pain, pain is the only way to stay you. She knew exactly what it meant, but how could she just ignore this emotion? IT was a burn that pulled her closer more than it pushed away. _____ Demonstar grabbed her two rabbits and dashed through the river, and back to camp, entering camp, she set the prey down and purred in satisfaction, the clan would eat today. There had been plenty prey caught in FernClan teritorry today. _____ Blackblaze returned with his patrol, "nothing out of the ordinary." he said to Demonstar with a nod. He glanced at the freshkill pile, but said nothing. _____ Moonsong padded into camp, nose in the air, "prey?" She wandered toward the freshkill pile in darkness. She glanced at Wildheart, her one eyed companion, "is ther really prey? Want to share a rabbit? I havent eated in days!" Wildheart laughed and grabbed a rabbit. The two setled down to eat it off to the side.

Ravenclaw was startled. He didn't return these feelings, much, and he didn't know what to say. Finally he choked out, "W-why me?!" ______ Limefeather yawned, and stretched. She sorted through her herbs quietly, ignoring her company. ______ Sablekit curled up, and fell asleep. ______ Wolfheart dropped his prey in the fresh-kill pile, and sat down nervously. He was itching to ask Demonstar what was on his mind, but he didn't dare.
