"I do trust you." Crystal said staring into his eyes, wondering why he didn't think that she trusted him.  The reason she couldn't really relax was because in her head was the image of the scary-looking vampire hunter, just staying in there worrying her.  No matter how hard she tried to get the image out of her mind, it stayed there.

Then Crystal realized something.  If she really trusted Ren then she wouldn't be worried.  Maybe she didn't really trust him after all.  But then why didn't she run?  Crystal shook those thoughts out of her head and decided that if she hadn't trusted Ren before, then she'd trust him now. 

Ren scrunched up his nose, realizing how strong the sewer scent was. HE was beginning to taste it in his mouth, sending a nauseous feeling throughout his body. Keeping a firm grip on Crystal's hand, he walked forward, constantly scanning the are in search of any traps or surprise attacks to look out for. 

Ren could not understand how he had goten into this mess. HEre he was with a human who loved him, and he oddly loved in return, in a dark sewer running from a man who wished to stake him. HE rolled his eyes, continuing forward, hoping Crystal wouldn't p*censored* out at the stench before himself. 

Crystal was still trying to bear the terrible stench.  She didn't want to mention it to Ren, though.  She looked around, noticing all the sludge on the walls.  Gross.. She thought, quickly looking away from the disgusting sludge.  She wasn't the kind of person to puke from seeing gross things, but it still bothered her a lot.

At least the terrible smell of the sewer and the gross sludge took her mind off the vampire slayer for now.  She couldn't help glancing at Ren to see if he was grossed out too.

Ren smiled back reas.suringly at Crystal, seeing a turn. IT was dark down the tunnel, but he was positive he heard rapid footsteps from behind them. Seeing he had no other choice, he scooped Crystal up, an awkward grin on his face.

"Afriad of the dark?" He asked, smiling in his odd way. He wasn't sure if she was comfortable with him carrying her around everywhere, but accidents were unaffordable and he really didn't want her to be left behind with a looney vampire slayer. THen again, Humans were quite slow at running as well.

Crystal immediately felt safe when Ren scooped her up.  She wasn't a fast runner, and doubted she could outrun whoever was chasing them; likely the vampire slayer.  If she had relaxed a little more she probably would have forgotten all the danger that is approaching.

Ren took his steps carefully. HE nearly stepped off the edge, which would have resulted in them becoming soaked in unsanitary water, but managed to catch himself. He kept walking forward, seeing he was appraoching a wall. THere was a small stream of light from above, and he neared the ladder reaching the top. CLimbing up the ladder, Crystal still in the grasp of his arms, he removed the sewer lid, though he knew she was probably capable of getting herself up. When he'd reached the top, he slipped his hoodie over his head, ignoring the fact that he was in the middle of the road holding up traffic. Quickly he sealed the sewer, taking off in the direction of some alleyways.

"Ey, where's your house?" HE asked, hoping to take her there. He wanted her to be safe at the moment; currently that was all that mattered. Seeing a few couples running past them, he supposed they weren't used to seeing people in a warm embrace, so much that the guy would carry the girl around everywhere. While several girls stared at him, the guys glanced at Ren like he was a lunatic. ROlling his eyes, he turned back to Crystal, who he gently set back down. HE figured he'd be doing much carrying today.

"It's over there." Crystal said, pointing to a house.
