"Niiiidoraaan!" Squeeked Nyda, using double kick on the charmander that just charged at them. "What are you doing!" Yelled Ichigo, looking flustered at the sudden motion of his poison type. staring at her motionless it took him a few seconds before he lept in and picked her up, stil squrming in his grasp. "Return." He fumbled about with the pokeball almost dropping it, and sighed when she had entered the red and white container. 

rubbing his eyes her suddenly remembered that a charmander had been attacked. "Oh fudge." He knelt down looking at the pokemon who was now beside Serra whom had lept from the tree to as.sist the fire type.

He looked up to a girl with red hair and stared at her with wide eyes. First a pokemon, and now a girl; where did they keep coming from.

"Sorry." Sanae chirped, not sounding sorry at all. "Pierce seems to be a very... Adventurous Charmander." At his nickname, Pierce started churring and jumping around his trainer. Sanae's Horsea squirmed under her grasp, eager to join.

"No, you can't join." Sanae seemed to read her new Pokémon's mind. "No water here." The Horsea gave Sanae and inquisitive look, then settled back down.

"My name is Sanae, by the way." Sanae returned her attention to the boy. "I see you've got a Treeko." She gave a little wave in the Pokémon's direction, grinning. Pierce seemed to have settled down, forgetting about his initial attack on the boy and his small team. 

Ichigo Blinked. "Huh?" He then refocused on Sanae and stood up. "Oh, names. Mines Ichigo, and yea, He's mine, aint'cha buddy." Serra looked up at his trainer and grinned. He smiled at her and dipped his head in greeting. They were almost at eye level because of Ichigo's small stature. "So I'm gonna take a shot at it and say you are a new trainer too?"

 He looked at the horsea in her arms that had stopped squirming.  "Oh yea... The first gym is a fire type..." He said, looking to Serra then to Pierce. "Neither of our starters have an advantage, but you have a water type so It should be easyer for you against the gym leader. We wont give up though, will we Serra!" He said energetically taking a battle stance.

His teal eyes glistened. "Wan't a battle?" 

((Should it be predetermined who should win if Sanae accepts?))

[[ That's a bit mean o-o'' Maybe they could battle in the river where Horsea was caught, with a few stable lily-pads for Nyad to stand on. I think that's what they did in the anime sometimes during water battles. ]]

Sanae seemed a bit taken aback. She glanced at Pierce, whose eyes seemed to start gleaming again when Ichigo mentioned a battle.

"Huh. You're that eager?" Sanae asked both Ichigo and Pierce. She rolled her eyes. "I should've researched on the behavior of boys also before I started this journey." She said, then grinned. "I'll battle you, Ichigo! Pierce, you ready?" Sanae's Charmander looked at Sanae over his shoulder and nodded, making a small charrrr of determination. Sanae grinned, still holding her Horsea, who watched in a relaxed manner.

Shrugging his bag off his shoulders and loosening his tie he clenched his fist. "Alright then, Nyad, Come on out. A red beam of light shone from the ball and released the small pokemon who refused to battle. Making a Ny sound she trotted behind her trainer stubbornly. "What? Fine, Serra, looks like you will have to battle." Serra took a stance ready to recive orders.

Pointing, Ichigo started the battle. "Serra, use quick attack!" The grass type pokemon darted in verticall motions flashing up as he neared Pierce to deliver the firs hit.
