Light and dark, they’re both same. People see us as evil but we don’t. We see them as evil but they’re not. Both sides are the same and we’ll always see each other as enemies. It’s normal to be afraid of something that’s different. You live alone or with others. You live in the forest or in the city, which ever one you prefer. You make friends, fall in love, the normal things in life. Or you’re an outcast and you like it that way. Some people know who you are and they watch or fear you. Maybe, if you’re lucky, you’ll be accepted into this strange world. Plot It’s kind of obvious what this story is about. If you can’t figure it out I’ll tell you. This story is about humans and the things that are know as “going bump in the night”. You can be anything from a plain old human to a troll if you want. Even a cross breed if that’s what you want. I prefer the more obvious bump in the night characters like vampires, werewolves, shape shifters, the like. But as I said, you can be whatever you want. Just try to keep it close to the story if you can. Setting This is taking place in summer and this day and age. High school is over and summer is here. Some are trying to find a job or just hanging out spending your parents cash. Some may be in college already others can’t or don’t want to go yet or not at all. The Underground An underground, non-human bar, located under a human bar. It's located north/north west in between the center and outskirts of the town. Makes it easy to access drunk humans for vampires and other blood-sucking beings. There is a strict rule of not killing any humans within a mile of The Underground. It is also preferred if you don't kill your prey at all. Triston is the owner of the bar and enforces all the rules. Underground Desc[injection]ription Here is the pic I'm basing it off of -link The place looks more run-down and the floor is made of a dark colored cobblestone. The stage isn't a stage, it's the bar, which is made of antique looking black wood. The pillars are black and aren't smooth, having a rough feel to it. The bar stools at the bar table are these, the left one is a darker black with a red cushion and the right is red with the black cushion. There are no windows. Anything white is black. Landmarks & Locations City The city is kinda big but isn't really modernized. The tallest building is seven stories and it's the mayors office. There's a farmers market near the center of the town. The mall and other major stores are close to the market as well. Most of the buildings are made out of brick but some of the older ones are made out of wood. The more expensive places tend to be made out of different material. Brass Dragon Apartments Not a single person who lives here is human. Amber Crest Estates Like the Brass Dragon appartments, all the residents are inhuman. Coffee Shop The shop is where Forra works. It's fairly popular with non-humans for some odd reason. It's located near the edge of the city and about a half mile from the forest. The place has ten small tables, five close to the window and the others are scattered about between those tables and the counter. It's a corner shop and is not connected to other buildings. The wall at the front of the shop has large glass windows and the door. The walls to the side of the shop have the same windows but they only cover half of the wall. The back wall has no windows and has a door leading out into an ally that only the employees can use. The tables are small and white with two wood chairs each. The counter is near the back and the bosses office is next to it and right behind the counter is a closed off room for the employees. Forest The forest is quite big and a little foreboding to humans, so not many try to venture in. Located west of the city and the two are separated by a large grassy field. The forest is mostly populated by birds and other small animals. But it also has deer and a roaming bear every now and then. Skunks and raccoon's can also be seen. Large pines and oaks are the most common trees but birch and young willows can also be found. One part of the forest has fruit bearing trees, which include apple, apricot and cherry trees. There are also berry bushes located through out the entire forest. A small pond can be found near the farthest part of the forest and streams can also be located in the forest. The most known one is the one coming of off Relic Lake and is also the mother stream for all the others and the pond. The Hidden Field is located at the center of the forest, which is the deepest and most dangerous spot in the entire place. There is also said to some sort of creature that is the guardian protector of the forest. Ancient Willow The willow is the first weeping willow ever born. She holds mysterious powers of protection. Near where all the limbs start to branch off, is an odd, solid path of white, which somewhat resembles the head of a wolf. It's common for people who are allowed entrance to never notice this odd patch, due to it being heavily hidden by its many wispy branches. The willow does posses another form, which is why that patch is there. A large, white wolf, covered with leaves, vines and such, emerges from that patch. It is rare for her to do this, to the point that there is probably no one who knows of this anymore. It's the home of a young demon.(The cabin belongs to LaCort I think. So you can go ahead and do the desc[injection]ription for this place if you want. If you don't, tell me and I'll be sure to do it.) Mysterious Pond The pond is unusual. It has no source of water and never shrinks in size. Including it never freezes during winter and always stays at the same cool temperature. It's also unnaturally deep for a pond and is impossible to see the bottom from the surface. Supposedly a rare mythical water creature dwells within the depths of the pond and keeps it the way it is. It's also said that there is an underwater route to the lake. Relic Lake The lake is located east of the city and a few people live on its shores. A small dock can be found on its western shore, the closest place to the city. The lake was named after the old ruins that reside at the bottom. No one really knows what the ruins are of because no one has gotten a good look at it. The people that go looking come back saying they were almost or were attacked by something. A few people think Nessie left Scotland and took residence in Relic Lake. Underwater Ruins It's garded by a mysterious and ancient creature. Not much is known of the ruins origins and no one tries to find out. Not even merfolk are able to get past this creature. The ruins continue to remain a mystery to all humans and mythical people. Protected Glade The field is located in the deepest and hardest place to reach in the forest. The field is very large but no one has to worry about anyone flying over the area being able see it. The reason why is that the weeping willow tree that resides there contains a unique magical power. It is able to hide the field from anybody and everybody. Less than half of the people that know of its existence have actually seen it. The willow is able to sense certain things about people and will allow people who it likes to enter its hidden sanctuary. The power the willow contains is very sought after and if anyone were able to get a hold of the magic it would mean the death of the willow. So the few people who can visit the field tell no one and keep the tree safe. The willow is also the mother tree of the forest, so if she died the others would as well. Farmland Farms are located some fifteen to thirty miles south of the town. The entire area is covered with crops and livestock. Also including the large open fields the livestock graze upon. There are also a few horse owners out there and you can find the horses on the fields as well. There is however a horse stable about eight miles south east of town. With a track and training area too.

Name: Forra Hawthorn Age: She appears 19 but she is now 23. Been a vampire for 4 years. Gender: Female Species: Vampire/Shapeshifter Powers: Power 1: The natural shapeshifter ability to change her form into different animals. Her kind though, is only able to turn into five different forms. She only has two forms so far and she has shown only one, which is a white fox, with cunning amber eyes. Power 2: Forra is empathic. This ability allows her to sense other peoples emotions, sometimes even express them. However, there are a few drawbacks to this ability of hers. Since she disscovered this power, when she was little, she had no control with turning it on or off. This meant her power would turn on and off at any time and sometimes would stay on or off for very long periods of time. After she was turned by Triston, her power became stroger and a bit more stable. But now she can always sense Triston's feelings. Her power also became stronger, actually allowing her to feel another persons emotions. This especially goes for Triston, like for example he gets mad, she experiences a heat like sensation. In rare cases, if Triston is really angered, Forra can sometimes be hurt by it and occasionally bruises are found afterwards. One of the new things she's discovered with her power is that she read another persons emotions just by touching the other persons skin and concentrating hard enough. She also discovered she can transfer her own emotions into another person by touch as well. Power 3: Her third power is more over a curse. Every vampire already has this ability, but many can't even access it and the ones that can, barely scratch the surface. Forra is one of the rarest cases with this ability, but she doesn't care, truthfully, she hates it. She doesn't like it because every time this power is activated, she loses control and someone always ends up dead. No one fully understands this ability, but it is said that the Queen discovered this power after becoming a vampire. The Queen is also said to have the most control of this power and the first to ever use it. The way to tell if one possesses this power is if their eyes change from the normal vampire eyes to an even darker red and the pupils turn into slits.
Personality: Forra is kind of a loner but mostly because she only has two friends. She is a bit shy and has become very seclusive. She doesn't let many people know much about her. She's also very stubborn and tends to ignore you if you make her mad or upset. Can hold very long grudges. She's a tom-boy and has a tendency to dress up as a guy, but she's strait. She also has a short temper. History: Forra had a normal life pretending to be a human even though she was a shapeshifter. She has only one friend and they are very close. She decided one day to tell her friend what she was. The friend laughed and said that they already knew cause her friend wasn't human as well, he was a vampire. One day her friend got hurt and lost a lot of blood and because of that he went into a blood lust. Accidently attacking Forra and nearly killing her. When he snapped out he was shocked and confused and not wanting to loose Forra changed her into a vampire to save her. Now she is both shapeshifter and vampire. Pretty much the same just now she needs to drink blood. Crush: None Pet: Forra has a female, black and purple baby feathered dragon. She's very small and won't grow very big either. About seven feet long once she's an adult. Right now she's about a foot and a half long. Her name is Kumori.(she looks like that dragon just imagine her a lot smaller and baby like. Kumori the Dragoness is actually one of the things I made on a flash game) She has small stuby wings and her horns have began to grow. Her eyes look like opals, the colors changing or shifting depending on her moods, with cat like irisis. Anaria appears to be a black lizard, with purple hues and a feather like pattern, to a normal humans eye. Many people who have touched her have said, "She"s odly soft for a lizard". Other: Her eyes are amber which change crimson when angry or hungry. Appearance: Forra has a total of three forms right now. Her human form, fox form and dragon form. Human Form: Forra stands at 5ft, 7in. She has snow white hair that goes to her shoulders and sticks up at the ends. Some of the hair is shorter then that so she looks like she has bed head.rnHer eyes are a dark amber around the pupil but turn to a golden honey color around the edge of the iris. Forra is thin and has a slightly curvy figure. Her skin is lightly tanned. Forra usually wears a loose, dark green, T-shirt with a black vine like pattern on the left side that snakes up and goes across the chest. I she isn't wearing this shirt she will wear a black T with the symbol of Gears of War on it, a red shirt with a black tribal marking on the sleeves and the bottom of the shirt or a a plain white T with a black open vest. She wears either blue jeans, black cargo pants, black shorts where the hem is shredded or a blood red skirt with black tribal markings along the hem of the skirt. She also happens to be completely flat chested. Fox Form: Forra stands at two feet tall and three feet and four inches long. She is covered in snow white fur that's messy and sticks up, especially on the head and tail. She has the same color eyes but the pupil is an oval shape and the eyes contain an odd cunning look to them. Her canines are a bit larger then most foxes. She looks fragile in this form and hates it. Dragon Form: Forra stands at eight feet tall and is thirteen feet and nine inches long. She is covered in long snow white feathers from head to tail tip. The feathers on her head stick up like her hair and on the end of her tail is a large amount of feathers that stick up and looks messed up. Similar patches of these feathers are on the middle of her back and half way down her tail, half way down the back of her neck and around the ankles of all feet. Soft down like feathers are on the front of the neck and belly and underside of the tail. Her claws are a pale white, about seven inches long and can easily tear trough flesh and bone. She has two small horns on her head that are almost hidden by the feathers. Her head is long and narrow and the snout is rounded. Her body is slim and well built, but not showing off much muscle. She has a wingspan of thirty two feet and is also covered in feathers, but still holds the dragon shaped wings. Large primary feathers are located near the base of the wing, shorter secondary feathers are located above the primaries and small downy feathers are located above the secondaries and cover most of the wings. The wings also have the conventional talon that sticks up out if the small feathers. Forra's eyes are completely colored, but the color of them is a bit darker then when in her human form and the pupils are slit like a cats. Her mouth sports long fangs, the canines up to six inches long. --------------^_^-------------- Age: He appears 20 but he's actually a lot older. Gender: Male Species: Vampire Powers: Power 1: He can control shadows and darkness. Allowing him to dim or even make any light sorce appear to dissapear by covering them in dark or thick shadows. Power 2: He has Phychokenisis which allows him to move ob[injection]jects by only using his mind. He can only move ob[injection]jects within a radious of fifteen feet around him. He can sometimes unconsciously brake ob[injection]jects, within his radius, when he's mad or upset. The damage being from, very little and all way to completly destroyed, depending on how mad or upset he is. Power 3: Well he kind of got bored of trying to figure out what it is. He said "It'll show itself when I need it most, or when I least expect it." (Truthfully he has his third power but he's never shown anyone. Well at least anyone who's still alive that is.)
Personality: He's a bit lazy and tends to sleep in later in the day even later than a vampire. He thinks him self as a ladies man and kind of is. Being able to attract most woman. History: Normal vampire life. With a few exceptions like meeting and becomeing close friends with a female shapeshifter, who surprisingly wasn't attracted to him. They became close friends and hung out together a lot. But never once did she show any crush like simptoms toward him. On one of the days they were hanging out he was severly injured and entered a blood lust state, attacking and feeding on his friend and nearly killing her in the process. When his blood lust cleared he found himself with a close to death friend in his arms, covered in blood. He knew the only thing to save her was to change her, so he did. They're still good friends but she has a small grudge against him for changing her. Crush: None Pet: Luffy Other: His eyes are rusty brown which change to a bright crimson when he's angry, hungry and sometimes when he's excited. Appearance: (not my art) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Name: Luffy Altier Age: Very old but he shows himself as 19. Gender: Male Species: Demon/Shifter Powers: Power 1: Shadows, except his is more awsome then Triston. Luffy can turn into a shadow, the only thing visible are his purple eyes. He's able to jump into ob[injection]jects or peoples shadows. When he's in a person or living things shadow, depending on it's will, he can control its body for a period of time. Some times he just hangs out in the shaodws and do nothing. Power 2: Luffy can control black fire. He's able to create it out of shadows or from his own power. The fire itself is dark and cold, yet burning hot at the same time(Have you ever heard of something that's so vcld its hot?). The fire goes out when Luffy comands it to, or he's knocked unconcious. Power 3: Luffys' final power is being able to change forms. He only has three forms though, which are, a human form, wolf form and his demon form.
Personality: Luffy is very secretive. Not wanting to tell anyone, anything about him. The only thing people know about him is that he hates Triston and wants to kill him. Oh and he is easily angered, lashing out at others if they tick him off, except Triston and Forra, he'd never hurt Forra. He also doesn't like day to much. History: ...hm ...hmm ...no. Only Triston knows about his past, Forra knows a couple things. Don't ask them, you will regret it. Crush: No one likes me... Pet: Never... Other: He doesn't really hate anyone even though he acts like it. Except Triston, he hates Triston. Appearance: Luffy has three different forms. Human, wolf and his natural demon form. Human Form: Luffy has messy, medium length male hair that is pitch black, the tips are orange. His eyes are two shades of purple, a brighter amethyst like color around the pupil that goes out to the darker shade, which is on the the edge of his iris. His pupils look human when he's in a good mood but if he's in a bad mood, they're slit like a cats. Luffy stands at 5'9', he slouches usually so he looks the same hight as Forra. He has a slightly darker shade of skin then Triston. He's thin and slightly muscular. He wears black dress shoes, a white button-up shirt, a black vest with a silver dragon insignia on the back and a pair of black dress pants. He always wears a straw hat(the hat is actually black and the band on it is silver instead of red), which looks a bit out of place yet at the same time fitting on him.. Wolf Form: Luffy is pitch black, except for the small amounts of orange that flow through his fur. He stands at 4'6'. He's seven feet in length, from nose to tail tip. The entirety of his eyes are the same iridescent purple, except the pupils which are always slit like a cats. His fangs are normal wolf length, except for the two top-front canines, which are a tiny bit longer then normal and show a little. His fur appears to be made of black ink and acts shadowy in certain spots. Those spots are on the top of his head, in between the ears, and run down the back of his neck and half way down the back, all in the middle. The fur is also like this around the paws and the majority of his tail. The fur appears to be flowing and looks like Kids' clothing, with small amounts of orange flowing through it. Even though he mostly resembles a wolf he has a few fox-like characteristics, being more slender of the body and snout. He also has the bushier tail of a fox. When in this form people see him as an oddly colored Husky. Demon Form: Luffy hasn't shown very many people his demon form. Currently the only person who knows what it looks like is Triston.(Trust me it looks really cool!)

Power 1: Her first power is that of the Dark Magic of cursing and hexing. Power 2: Real Nightmare. She's able to give people the most horrifying nightmares, to the point of making them real. Meaning, if you die in your nightmare, you die in real life and your body tends to match the cause of death. Power 3: She has powerful Water Magic. Being able to easily control water in the most difficult of ways. Personality: Dark and of course twisted. She easily terrifies people with just the mentioning of her name and enjoys every bit of it. She at one point lost her mind and only thinks of... well dark things of course. Occasionally, she tries to kill her sister, but inevitably fails. History: She and her older sister come from a long bloodline of powerful witches, wizards and warlocks. The only reason these two happen to be Wikins is because their father fell in love with a human. Soon after noticing that they were becoming outcasts of the magical community, they quickly lashed out against their parents. Killing their human mother and petrifying their father. This display was terrifying, because for Wikins, just alone they were stronger than average witches, but together, they were much worse. Crush: None Pet/'s: Dryndle, her female familiar. A black cat with a dark nature. It's best not to anger her or her master or she'll change into and manifest your greatest fear. Always seen around her master and is best to stay that way. Other: She was first opposed to killing her parents, but soon changed her mind. She and Ream are twins. Appearance: She has dark brown skin. Her face is decorated with light brown freckles. She stands at 5'3', just a little over a foot taller than her older sister. She has light-brown hair, with copper colored streaks and her hair is long and strait, going a little past her waist. She has a fully matured body and takes much pride in it, especially her chest. Her clothes are often times dresses, but she does wear other things as well. Her favorite non-dress outfit is a tight dark blue shirt, which is cut short and the hem rests an inch or so above her bellybutton. She wears an old torn dress, remodeled into a skirt, which is a pretty aqua color. She wears silver and blue witchy shoes, which curl up at the end and are high heels. She has a small wand, which is a dark red color, thought to be old blood coating it. The wand itself is fairly simple and made of wood. She has the most amazing necklace, which resembles cascading waves and near the center the waves collide and a sapphire rests there. Her arms are decorated with black tattoos. The left arm has wave like marks on it and the right has cats, playing with moons. These tend to glow an iridescent blue when she uses magic.

Personality: Dark and twisted, much like her sister, but with a more childish attitude. She takes much joy in other peoples suffering, but surprisingly rarely ever causes, despite being so mischievous. History: She and her younger sister come from a long bloodline of powerful witches and wizards or warlocks. The only reason these two happen to be Wikins is because their father fell in love with a human. Soon after noticing that they were becoming outcasts of the magical community, they quickly lashed out against their parents. Killing their human mother and petrifying their father. This display was terrifying, because for Wikins, they were stronger than average witches alone and together, much worse. When she and her sister attacked their parents, their father attacked her with an unknown magic, which stopped her body from ageing. Crush: Triston, but it's a secret. Pet/'s: Gossamer, her male familiar. A large reptilian dog, with similar characteristics of a snake, including the colors of an albino balled python and an iridescent blue snake tongue. He's able to change into a snake at will and is often seen wrapped around her body or her staff. Other: She was the one who decided to take out their parents. She and Moore are twins. Their father now rests as a statue in their garden. Appearance: A younger version of her little sister. However, she has a few key differences, other then age appearance. Including being flat-chested Winding up both arms are black tattoos, which occasionally glow an iridescent green. The left arm has snakes, while the right has small running dogs with small moon symbols here and there. Around her neck is an copper and silver necklace, which resembles tree limbs and at the heart of the necklace is a sapphire. She stands at four feet exactly. Her hair is horribly frizzy and tangled and a long braid hangs almost to the ground on the left side of her head. She's averagely thin for her age appearance. She often carries around an old and decayed looking staff, with an emerald fitted at the top. The staff itself is taller than her by a foot and a half and is often used more as a blunt ob[injection]ject then a way to cast spells. Despite its decayed look, it's harder then rock. She also often wears one main outfit, which is a black and emerald colored short shirt. A pair of dark brown and dark green pants, which are shredded near the end and are now Capri's and no longer pants. She wears a silver and emerald colored finger-less glove on her left hand. She is always barefooted. Finally is her hat, which is shaped like this, but is coated in what appears to be ground up emeralds and the white piece is silver and the buttons on it are emeralds.

Species: Dark/Night Elf
Powers:
One: Manipulating shadows is something she is particularly good at. Living in the shadows most of her life, she has learned to control them very well.
Two: Charlotte can 'jump' from place to place. She doesnt just disappear and reappear in any given place, its actually speed that makes it seem like she jumping from place to place. She is so fast that she cant be seen by the naked eye - of humans at least.
Three: This power is only triggered when she has great anger inside her. Its not just any anger but true and pure anger. This has only happened to her once and it want very destructive because she was young but what happens is that she bring all the shadows and evil spirits out and creates a life or death storm. Since it has only happened once, she doesnt really know what the real outcome could be. (Is this ok?)
Personality: After she changed her ways and become a night elf, she started living in the forest, away from her own kind. The years she is spending there makes her unsociable and utterly curious. Petie doesnt get angry easy but when she does it doesnt last long. She doesnt hold grudges making her 3rd power useless. She is very naive and loves to have fun, though living in the woods doesnt bring much fun. She would like to venture out in seek of something entertaining, but she has a sickening fear of others that she wont ever let any one see.
History: The past is the past, Charlotte would say. Its better to live in the present moment then to get caught up in the past and future. So dont bother asking her about it. If you ask her the only thing she will say is that she is not a dark elf any more, she has changed and is a new breed of elf, a night elf. She live in the the forest, in a hollow tree, awaiting for something to spark her intrest.

Appearance: Usually dark elves have dark skin, dark hair and red eyes, but since Petie vowed to be diffrent and not continue to be evil as the humans think, her features started to change. Her height is the same as it was before, as she was as a dark elf. 4'11" is how tall she stands with a very slender body that is almost a sickening stick like. Her face is narow, the shape of a triangle. With a wide forehead and a thin chin. Her crazy curly red hair with full, straight, bangs hide the fact that her face is off proportion. Because her hair lays just above her shoulders, the shape of her face appears more round. Anyways, the red of her eyes had seemed to go to her hair and the darkness of her skin went to her eyes. Big balls of blown out candles sit where her eyes should be, and her fair skin making them bold and rounded. Back to Petie's figure, her shoulders are not too wide and not too narow, they compliment her hour glass, thin, figure. Her arms and legs do also, though they look weak and scrony. She is very strong, more so than any one would have guess. What she wears though, is something abnormal. Living in the woods all her life, she has figured out a way to make the surrounding shadows into what ever dark clothing she wants.
Other: Likes to be called Petie (Pete-ie) and always smells like a camp fire or burning wood.

History:
As a baby, Saika was left on the doorstep of an orphanage... however, someone found her before the nun running the orphanage did... he was a scientist looking to make a name for himself in the secret (Now if I told you, it wouldn't be a secret, now would it?).
He took the infant back to one of the labs he worked in and there basically raised her like a caged animal...
He ran all sorts of different kinds of tests on her, until finally one day he got the result he thought he was looking for.
Before he could throw anything else into her DNA, he got shut down by the army. This caused Saika to be able to escape. she was only ten at the time....
Since then she'd been out basically fending for herself. No one knows how she seemed to get by, but to her it didn't matter.
