His eyes widened slightly, then narrowed even more before he released his grip. He turned his glare to the ground, stilling for a long moment before he attempted to force his frustration down again. Sometimes that feels like the impossible. Still, he knew if what she said was true, he would be hurting her if he didn't.
But why didn't that seem to matter a thing at all to him?
He pinched the bridge of his nose, willing himself to calm. No, it should matter. It had to matter.
"I'll answer you when you answer this," he muttered quietly, struggling to keep his voice even, "...what did you do to take them away? The visions, the pain? What did you do to me?"

Deciding to explore the town more, Zoran wondered around aimlessly, eventually crossing paths with two being who seemed to be arguing. They were a snowy haired boy and a girl. The conversation between the two of them seemed to settle slightly as she drew closer. Not that she really cared about others, but she could clearly see the red marks forming all over the girl's body. "How interesting..." She murmured as she pushed her way past them with out so much as a second glance.

Saika sighed and decided to walk around the forest. With a slight stretch she morphed into her canine form, finding it much more comfortable being on all four paws rather than just two feet. "Wonder if there are any others here... like me..." She wondered out loud as she began a steady trot through the forest.

Jerith continued walking, trying to avoid the girl he was with earlier. He'd managed to loose her and planned on keeping it that way.

The last part of Conner's comment made Ivan smile. "I've seen him around a few times... but never did really think anything of it..." She mentally laughed to himself before looking up towards the canopy of green the hung above the two boys. "Everything happens for a reason... maybe it's a good thing we ran into each other." He replied, still not looking back down at the boy sitting a mere few feet away from him. A few more minutes based before Ivan finally turned his head to the side, the ever present smile on his face not faltering. "And no... it doesn't sound strange." He finished before allowing his body to lay fully on the grass.

((Sorry, I would of posted earlier, but I came down with something. Just now feeling good enough to use my brain. Sorry if the post isn't that good. Luffy and Triston are just... Well, doing the same thing really, just getting more serious or something... My brain is still half sick so it's hard to come up with anything good.))
My head drops down as his hand releases me. I rub my chin, but stop when I notice his emotions struggle for calmness. He's actually trying to calm down... I could feel a small smile tug at the corner of my mouth. The smile quickly fades when I hear his question. A twinge of fear runs through me at the thought of what I experienced. It took me a moment before I started to reply to his question. "It was kind of an accident really..." I look over at a tree before I continue with saying, "I was just trying to read your emotions and possibly calm you down. I've recently discovered I can transfer emotions to or from a person." I took a long pause before I said, "I think accidentally I took your emotions and whatever that was, hitched a ride or something like that." I almost look up at him, but stop myself just in time. I hate not being able to make eye contact! I've always made eye contact with whoever I'm talking to. Anyways, it's rude not to...
"Hey, Triston." I hear Luffy say, but don't acknowledge him. "Hey!" He yells this time and I glare at him. He puts his hands up and says, "Sheesh. You look like you're gonna kill me with that look there." I look back at the book and say, "Not in the mood."
Since when is he not in the mood to joke in anyway, shape or form? ...I guess what's in that notebook of Forra's is real serious. I look at the ground. Man, just what's in that book that's making Triston practically freak out over?

Petie felt bad for eavesdropping but what was coming out of the monsters mouths was very interesting. She felt that knowing this about the girl will be good for the future. She did say that she hasn't told anyone, right? Petie asked herself, knowing that, that wasn't a good thing. She wanted to help this girl, and that was unusual for Petie. For now, however, she just listened and waited it out.

"Hitched a ride." he echoed, blinking his eyes open as slowly as he could manage. He shook his head slightly, looking at something in the distance above and a little to the right of her head. When he spoke, it was with a little more composure, "Whatever I did to have this thing take over my head, I certainly regret it. In all honestly, I'm not entirely sure what it is, or why it refuses to leave; but it's been with me since I was a child. You saw for yourself what it entails, and it never seems to let up. The thing takes every nightmare and makes it a reality." he murmured, eyes going dark for a moment, "Sometimes I could swear it has a conscience of it's own."
He bit his lip, sighing quietly, "I can't tell myself what it is, so I'm afraid I leave you with a half answer and a half untruth." his gaze trailed over her, but softly this time, "I'm sorry, of that I swear."

Conner watched Ivan silently, biting back a smile the entire time. He was... really growing fond of this human, and it seemed so quickly that the feeling had started. Somehow, it felt like Ivan was one of those people you could have just met, and yet feel like you had known him forever. Conner couldn't help but like that about him.
He was quiet for a moment, then he laughed quietly, "I'm really not good at this whole conversation thing, but... I've never really enjoyed a walk down to here this much before."
(( If you guys are, I'd be fine with waiting for Unique to get back. ;D I'm enjoying this a lot [even though I'm the worst RPer here xD], but I'm fine with taking another short break. I can understand not being here for a bit. ))

((LaCortori you are not a bad RPer, you're really good and I enjoy RPing with you, a lot. I'm also ok with a small break until Leo gets back. I'm actually going over to a friends this weekend to help her move into her new room. So I'll have very limited net access. Helped her paint the room a few weeks ago, which was fun.))

It was strange how much you could learn from a person by just letting them talk. Well that, and eavesdropping. Petie felt guilty for eavesdropping but the conversation she was listening to seemed like a fairy tail. Something that would go good in a book, though she lacked the expertise in the knowledge of a good book. Petie did, however, had a wild imagination.
The conversation was getting even more serious and Petie couldn't help to hear how it would end. Her face was in internal bliss as she rocked back and forth on the branch. The tree started to move slightly, side to side, and a few leaves fell. Petie held her breath noticing that she may give away her cover. She sat still in the tree like a deer in the head lights hoping that the two would be too caught up in their conversation that they wouldn't notice.

"Ya know... it's not nice to eavesdrop." Zoran laughed as she walked under the tree a young girl was sitting in. She pulled one of the ear-buds out of her ears so she could hear the girl's response in case she should happen to reply to Zoran's comment. While waiting, her light blue eyes gazed up into the tree, trying to see all of the girl.. but all she could really see was legs.

Ivan smiled and kept a slight laugh from escaping his mouth. "Really?" He began in slight disbelief. "I suppose it could get lonely here after a while..." He finally added after maybe a minute or so of not saying anything.
He was interested in Conner... and interest in another person was not something that happened to Ivan often... let alone interest in another boy...
((You're not a bad rper! You're actually really good. :-)
And welcome back Leo.
Oh and none of you know someone who'd be interested in a blonde, female Meiko, do you?))

Petie looked down from the bushy green tree she was in and saw a girl with short black hair and ice blue eyes. The girl had two, small, silver balls stuck in her lips and ear phones hung out of her ears. She looks unusual, but Petie knew if she didn't act quick, her cover could be blown. She lifted her finger up to her lips telling this girl to hush, and Petie quickly cover the girl in shadows. "Please leave, or don't scream. Just hush." She whispered in a low tone. Secretly she wished that this nuisance would leave because she felt too crowded, but she was also curious as to what would happen if this girl blew her cover. No matter what happened she knew she had to follow the snowy haired people.

"OK, first of all, don't tell me what to do." Zoran laughed as she began. The laugh was rather cold and condescending. "And secondly, I know how to talk at a level others cannot hear." She added with a slight hiss. She never liked being told what to do, which is most of the reason she left "home"... Her icy blue eyes gazed up at the girl, her gaze quite close to a glare... but she managed to hold it back. The last thing she wanted was enemies in the town already.
The shadows that were swirling around Zoran didn't even seem to faze her, she laughed and dismissed them with a wave of her hands. Within a few seconds she was up in the tree without a sound. "My kind can travel with the shadows. We don't need to manipulate them." She added in a hushed matter of fact tone.

Petie first felt her shadows evaporate then she noticed that this girl was up next to her in the tree, which gave her a small relief. However, this girl was still making quite a bit of noise. She shook her bright red hair ever so slightly, making sure the tree wouldn't move with her. Her black eyes looked the girl over and finally noticed that she was also a monster, like her and the two below. With questions running through her mind, Petie opened her mouth to talk, but no words fell out. Her mouth closed. She just raised a finger to her lips again. She hopped that this persistent girl would get the hint to stay quiet for a few minutes longer.

Conner turned his face back to the ground when Ivan mentioned being lonely, a rather afflicted look crossing his face, "That it can," he blinked slowly, glancing over at the other boy. At the sight of his still-smiling face, Conner couldn't hold back yet another tiny one of his own.
It didn't hurt here anymore, at the very least. Though beautiful, this always had been a place of seclusion. It didn't seem quite so dark the way he was beginning to look at it now.
(( I can't think of anything else. -facepalm- ))
