Petie wished that he would introduce himself so she wouldn't have to refer to him as this strange-mysterious guy, whom is a Demon-shifter. Although, she was glad he explained it to her because other wise she would have no clue what he was talking about. Since she left her 'kind' at an early age, Petie was not familiar with most species and, well, mostly everything else in the human world. Anyways, when he explained to her what he was, it almost made her skeptical of showing him her true form, obviously this wasn't his. After all he is a Demon, so it must be more frightening, right? Her cheeks warmed up. She felt like a fool for trying to impress him. Petie didn't know what was wrong with her today. First she lets him into the only place she feels safe, and second she shows him her true form. She turned her face to try to hid the blush, her flaming copper hair sprung over the side of her face as her eyes stared at the ground. Her voice was a tone harsher since she was ashamed in herself. "You never answered my question, why are you here?" Petie wished that he would go away or turn back into a human form.

((Heheh, thanks. I'm trying to expand my vocabulary. Gonna have to have a big one if I plan on making a career as a writer. Well not a career really. I hope to become a game designer in the future and be a writer on the side.))

(( Just going to be quick for tonight, guys. Really late where I am. xD ))
Ket was at a momentary loss as to what to do, but it wasn't long before that long-forgotten human left inside him began to take over. He shifted himself to rest her head against his chest, securing her hands in his own. He tried to hold her still so she wouldn't hurt herself, but attempted to do so in a manner that would make him seem as non-threatening as possible. As she let out a horrified scream, the piece of him that had so long endured the same tortures as her was now wilting in pity.
"It's alright, it's alright..." he hushed her gently, bent over her in the center of the unknown woods. "Shh..." he crooned softly, rocking her back and fourth as soothingly as he knew how. He did everything for her that he wished someone had been there to do for him, trying to comfort and reassure her. "...shh, shh.." he murmured, stroking back her snowy hair.
Still, he knew there had to be more he could do for her. And slowly, mustering his voice and the dim memories of the words, he began to sing her his lullaby. In the early years of his attacks, his song had been a sort of way for the outside world to tell him that what he was seeing wasn't real; to promise him that there was someone by his side. It had been forever since he had anyone sing him this. Those that cared enough to sing were dead or had forgotten just how terrifying a world he was constantly thrown into. At first the words were slow to come, but before long he was singing in the soft, trilling notes of years past. After all, your last hope is something you never forget.

Conner sighed quietly, stuffing his hands in his jacket pockets. "I'm sorry," he said, "I guess I'm just in a foul mood today. It's nice to meet you Ivan."
The boy was starting to look slightly familiar, although with everything playing through Conner's mind it was difficult to sort out present and past.
"Do you hang around here a lot?" he asked, looking the boy over with a slightly less judgmental glare. He blinked curiously, red eyes burning as his tail flicked inside his pant leg. He was beginning to notice just how unusually Ivan was dressed, but did his best not to stare.

Zoran held back the slight sigh that was about to show itself. "Sure, why not." She replied, still fidgeting with the rings, now out of boredom. "So, what brings you to this little town?" She asked as she looked at him.
Very ballsy.... randomly coming up and talking to me like this.... most others didn't even give me the light of day. But I have to admit, him staring at me is beginning to get irritating.
She thought to herself as she studied him once again.
What is THAT smile all about.... please please PLEASE Goddess don't tell me he's even attempting to pick me up.
She added to her previous thought once she actually noticed the seductive smile that appeared on his face; fighting the urge to shake her head, get up and walk away.
Instead of getting up like part of her wanted to, she remained seated and smiled pleasantly.

With a smile, Ivan looked back up at Conner.
"Yeah, I board her almost every day." He replied, still grinning up at him.
While Ivan stood and waited for the conversation to continue, he adjusted his black shirt and jeans.

Aaron wandered around aimlessly, dragging his hand along the moss covered tree trunks. Bugs retreated when his fingers passed by. Roots made the ground un-even and hurt his feet, but Aaron didnt care. His foot caught hold in a root and he bumped into someone. "sorry" He muttered naturally. He didnt bother to look behind and wonder, why would other people be in a forest?

((And, aww! Ket is singing to Forra! This is so ironic. I watched an episode of Sanctuary today and they had to sing. It was so funny and sad at the same time because of why. Poor Aby...
I plan on adding a new character to help with the charries who are currently floating. I just need to know, should it be a girl or a boy? I know who I'm using either way so it's up to you people.))
More tears flooded over my cheeks as I realized the skeleton boy had me in his arms, my head pressed against his rib cage. As the thorns continued tearing at my flesh and as they climbed up my arms and back, I noticed something. Someone was singing. After a few more moments of listening the best I could I whispered, "Pretty..." It was so soft, that even I barely heard myself say it. I guess it was because I was so weak. I'd lost a lot of blood and I felt close to passing out. My eye sight was blurring and my head felt light. After a minute or so pain all together stopped and just for a moment, I thought everything went back to normal, until I passed out.
I sat down after she said it was ok. I watched her as she played with the rings some more, but realized it was out of boredom this time. I smiled and said, "I am the Caretaker, or Guardian of this town. I also own this place." I gestured around, referring to this place. A bit of curiosity itching at the back of my mind had me asking, "So what is a fair lady like yourself doing here in my town?"
I watched the girl fidget and caught a slight blush as she turned around. When she asked what I was doing here I thought to my self, Children are so rude now a days... Being so snide and thinking they own everything and have the rights to ask anything to anyone. Might as well tell her, even though she'll get mad about it or something like that. "I was resting under the Willow, avoiding someone, wanting to be left in peace." I said the last part of my list a little harshly and during mid-sentence, had begun walking back to the Willow. My paws practically glided across dirt, grass and the poor, sad insects that were either squashed or suffocated by my shadows as I walked. Once I was back under the Willows shade I lay down and practically disappeared in her shadows. Hoping that maybe this child would leave me alone.

Running... hiding.... no... both of those give too much away... and besides I don't hide.
She thought, trying to pick the right words to say before finished what she'd started to say. "starting over." She finally finished with a slight shrug as she stopped spinning the rings around her lip.
Lady.... right..... I wonder if he'd still think I was a "fair lady" if I belched in his face right now.
She mentally laughed to herself while she waited for him to reply.

Ket rocked her slowly back and forth, repeating his song until he felt her body relax, sleep hopefully offering her a relief. Even then he lay still with her folded against his chest, stroking her hair soothingly. "Shh, shh..." he echoed, even after she was gone to him.

Conner almost let a smile tug at his lips; a rare, and unusual thing for him. "I thought I had seen you around here before. I walk down towards the docks once in a while." he gestured at the waves behind his shoulder, listening as they lapped softly on the harbor's old pillars.

Ivan's smile widened slightly when he saw a slight smile tug at Conner's lips, but as much as Ivan would have loved to see the other boy smile, he did allow the smile to penetrate his "straight face".
"I also dive when the water is nice enough." He added as he looked past Conner at the ever moving crystal clear waves.
Which was true... Ivan since he was little, found himself fascinated by the myths that surrounded the town and everything within it... especially the lake and the forest... although he dared not enter the forest alone.... although he was interested in the legends... he did not want to find out that they were true and be ripped limb from limb for being somewhere he wasn't supposed to be.

((Weeeeeeeeeeell, seeing as how we always say harbor... The word harbor makes me think of ships sailing in and out of the area... soooo why don't we put the Relic Lake somewhere inside the forest or near it or something like that and make the "harbor" the harbor of an ocean or sea of sorts..... Just a thought though... XD ))

((I don't think I told you guys this, but I hope to turn this into a book. So I don't want the place to have too much. Know what I mean? Also you can call it a dock instead of harbor. I'd say a port but that is similar to a harbor.))

((My dad said a dock was the smallest and found mostly on rivers or lakes. I think a harbor can be on lakes if they're big enough. But I'm not sure. I was slightly spacing when he told me this stuff. K, can't wait to see your edit!))
