Falconstrike padded into the clearing, mumbling to himself quietly. Padding towards the fresh-kill pile, he reached down and grabbed a big rabbit. The smell sunk into his nose and he felt drool coming into his mouth Padding away quickly he drooped hi head to take a few ravenous bites out of the prey.   I haven't eaten in Ages! he thought to himself, as he continued to eat. Clearly not caring it other cats seen him eating like this. Pulling his head up, he decided that he would watch all the cats as he ate.

Nothing better to do. he though. Keeping his green gaze sharp he noticed Crystalwave pad into the camp. She-cats. They are mouse-brained. Who needs them? he thought as he ate, but a tiny emotion tugged at his heart. One of loneliness. Flicking his tail he dismissed the feeling angrily, then went back to looking at the cats.

Crystalwave padded into the camp, a dead rabbit heavy on her mussels as she  noticed Falconstrike looking at her. Fox heart. she thought and glared back at him, her crystal eyes harsh. Dropping the rabbit on the pile, she sat down near the apprentice's den and began grooming her fur.  The rabbit had put up quite a fight, it gave her some good scratches on her shoulder when she tried to catch it.  Licking the wounds clean she wondered what else would happen today.
