Blue wondered why Wind was always in that corner.

Oz went silent.

Rango staggered back, not letting his bleeding paw touch the ground. Is this what all the dogs here are like? All I did was look at her. He saw Harley struggling to reach a rock in front of his cage. Without thinking,he swatted it back into her cage.

 "Thanks!" Harley yipped.

Suzume decided to try to get a chance to fight. She barked loudly and continuously, trying to get the Master to come.

(I made the thingy. It's below the list of doggehs..... I think it's ok. ^^ )

"Aw, shuddup, ya mutt!" Master shouted at Suzume, then left, going back into the house.

"Speak. Now." Lily growled.

Sierra's tail swished back and forth. A mizture of emotions flowed through her mind.  Annoyance, anger, frustration, sadness, hope, desperation, hopelessness... So much going on..

Suzume snarled.She continued barking.

Oz was still silent. He didn't want to speak.

Harley began playing with the rock again.

Terra woke up to Suzume's barking.

Blue sat down.

Rango looked at Sierra. "You don't need to be angry all the time. It won't help you get out of here."

Sierra stood up to her full height. She snarled, baring her teeth. They were white and sharp.  "Leave me alone! Nobody understands! You don't understand! So butt out of my business!!" she snarled.  "I'll attack you if provoked. Don't make me." With that, she returned to her old position, laying down in the corner, her tail swishing back and forth.

"Speak, or I'll hurt you! Or, worse, I'll tell Sierra," Lily growled at Oz.  "So say it. Immediatly."

Wind still lay in his corner.

Chain growled.  "Be quiet, will you, Suzume?!" he snarled at her.

"You're right." Rango said calmly, "I don't understand. I don't understand why everyone is so angry. I...feel sorry for you." He turned away from her. "The Master...he thinks we're all just useless mongrels. and..." He sighed, "I think some of the dogs here believe him."

"Listen." Oz said. "I'm sorry...It's just...you remind me of somebody I used to know..." He was telling the truth, but was sure she wouldn't believe him.

Suzume snarled back. "You should be quiet!" She began this long lecture on how Chain was useless. "You're just an annoying, useless, stupid mongrel! The reson you're a prize dog- I don't know. You certainly shouldn't be Here! You should be over there with Blue and all the other mutts!" She was snarling loud enough for everyone to hear." They're all useless, ugly, worthless brats! Every last one of them.

Terra, overhearing Suzume, began to growl.

Harley narrowed her eyes.

Blue rolled his eyes.

Chain snarled.  "I'll rip your throat out, you worthless mutt!"

Sierra perked her ears.  "You're the stupid one!!" she snarled.

Lily's attention was elsewhere now.  She glared at Suzume. "What did you say?"

"Ha!" Suzume laughed. "I'd like to see you try, runt!" She was ignoring the other dogs. She clawed Chain through the bars of the cage.

Rango stood up on his hind paws with his fromt paws against the cage. "You 'prize' dogs aren't the only ones who can fight!"

Blue spoke up. "ENOUGH! Suzume can't fight. She's talking crap, and there's no reason to make a big deal of it."

Harley ignored Blue. "You wouldn't be saying the same things if you were in the ring with one of us!"

Terra snarled. She howled, to annoy the master and get him to take her out.

Oz snarled at Suzume.

Wind snarled at Suzume. Maybe she wasn't the best dog.  "How dare you speak of us that way! Wait 'till you're face-to-face with us!" he snarled at her.

(Perhaps this shall make Suzume sad... idk. O.o Hopefully it will make her sad.. )

Sierra agreed with Blue and Harley.  "You're a big bag of lies and threats! But I bet when you get in a fight, you whimper like a little puppy!" she snarled.

Lily snarled at Suzume more.  "Never underestimate what we can do! Just 'cause we're not prize dogs doesn't mean we can't fight! 'Cause we just might be better than you!"

Suzume froze. She didn't know what to do now. Everyone hated her....even Wind. She sat down and her head drooped. She was facing away from the Other dogs, but a few of the prize dogs might be able to see her as she cried. She said this so silently, but enough for Chain to hear. "Chain...I'm sorry."

Harley sneered. "Even the master hates you! We all do!"

Blue shook his head. Nobody listened to him. Ever.

Terra growled.

Oz could see her, just barely. She was crying. He felt bad. No! She...deserved it.

Rango sat down again.

Sierra then continued doing her normal business. Thinking. Lying down in a corner.

Lily huddled next to Sierra and fell asleep.

Wind's snarl then turned to a shocked frown. He had made her cry. They all had. But he had, too. He had made Suzume cry. If he could, he would've gone over and nuzzled her. But he couldn't. Instead, he looked at her, with his shocked frown stuck on his face. Perhaps she would notice and cheer up. He didn't mean to make her cry..

Chain ignored Suzume's apology. "We don't apologize around here." he growled, then laid down in his cage, looking at the Other dogs.

Suzume just kept crying. She looked back at Wind, and her eyes spoke for her: "How could you do this to me? I loved you."  She looked around her cage. She was trapped. caged. hated. forced to fight. unloved. forever.

Harley snarled, refusing to quit. "You should be crying! No one will ever care about you!" Seeing the look on Wind's face, she said, "Well, it's true."

Terra calmed down.

Oz looked at Lily for a moment again. She really looked like somebody he used to know; a little pup he'd found on the street. But then... a street gang came.... He refused to think about it anymore.

Blue laid down.

Rango watched the Other Dogs.

Wind reached out to Suzume, "I didn't mean it! Suzume, I.. I... " he stammered.

"I love you!" Wind shouted. "There! I said it! I hope it means something to you, 'cause it means something to me!" He sighed, whimpered, then sat in his corner.  Wind was close to tears.

Wind only said, "Do you think I'm kidding?"

"You snarled at me out loud for everyone to hear and now you say you didn't mean it. Forget it, Wind. You're on your own."

Wind sighed. "What do I need to do to prove it to you?"
