Cina sat down, ears pulling back slightly as she did so. Then she smiled at Chain as she lay down, her paws crossed. "I am...and make sure you eat, too, okay?" she asked, tilting her head slightly, a smile present on her muzzle.

"Ok..." Chain said. "But I'd rather you eat than I." He walked off. After a few minutes, he returned, dragging a large cardboard box. It had food bits on it, and a small wet spot - uh... no details - along with a strange odor. But the smell wasn't strong, it was actually quite faint. He dropped it on the side of the alley and smiled. "This is home! I know it's not near to being good, but it was the best I could find.." Chain trailed off.

Cina shifted slightly to reach out and take some of the food, though it wasn't very much, and start eating on it. When Chain spoke again, she chuckled, looking up at her with humor in her dark brown eyes. "Anything is better than that hole we escaped from," she said, moving her head to lick the other's cheek. "And anywhere is home as long as we're together, Chain," she told him softly, touching her nose to his.

"That's exactly correct," Chain replied. He was happy with this dog. And she was female. That was a great bonus. Was it love..? "I'm going to go try to rummage around for some more food," he said, and with that, he stalked off to go forage in some dumpsters behind famous restaurants. There were always good scraps there.

(No, no. S'okay. c; ) Chain came back with half of a baked chicken, some fish still on the fish's bones, and a scrap of steak, along with a few pieces of lettuce. He dropped them inside the box. Looking over at Cina, he noticed she was asleep. Not wanting to disturb her, he took the food in his mouth again and tried to find somewhere to put it. Any dog could steal the food if they came along. What would he do? Should he wake Cina?

"No it's not," Wind said. "No questions are stupid." He looked up at the sky. "Every question is asked for an answer, and whatever the question may be, the answer will turn out the same - golden. The question, when asked, has recieved its answer, so it's proposition has been filled."

"That is definitely not a stupid question," Wind spoke. His ear twitched, hearing something in the distance. "For it deserves an answer that will be golden. You see, I'd treat you wtih care and love.. and I would die for you. But, then again, I'd die for you now." He solemnly looked down at his paws, which shuffled in the dirt.

Suzume felt like some sort of monster-because what if she chose Bandit? Surely Wind would be so heartbroken, she didn't want to know what his reaction would be. If she chose Bandit. Instead, he got up and shook his fur free of some dust bunnies that were gathering on him - probably because the alley was old. "Well, we're going to have to go look for Bandit. So let's go," he said calmly. (We should wait for peeples.)
