Rokai winced in pain, but still got up.  He tackled Angel, and beat her as much as he could before throwing her into the audience.  He thrust himself to Fang, and sunk his teeth into his neck.

The whistle sounded again. The fight was over.  Two men got out and separated the two dogs. Rokai snarled at Fang as he left.

"The fight's over.  You did good, Fang.  But Angel's in bad shape." he gave Angel to Fang. "I found 'er in the audience. Now, git!" He quickly drove back home, leaving Fang and Angel in the Clinic for a while. "I'll be back, ya mutts..."

The Master came back, gave pain-killing shots, gave medicine-pills and ointments-and put on gauze.  He then threw them back in their cage.  "Buddy! Git." he said, taking the dog.  "And you," he said, pointing to the only female prize. He put them in the sack and they soon arrived at the ring.

((...You know, Buddy is like,,,two, three feet tall on all fours and weighed quite a bit when I had him...right? XD He was a big boy. <3))

Buddy's ears pricked when he heard his name, the dog leaping to his feet with a soft growl to show he had heard his name. He flicked his tail, willingly entering the sack. He stretched out, then let out another growl as Cina was placed into the sack with him, the Appenzeller Sennenhund letting out a snort and moving as far away from Budd as she could get.

Upon entering the ring, Buddy's ears pricked, hearig the familiar sounds. He let out a bark, excited to be going there, while Cina was calmer about. She was perpared to fight, though. She was always prepared to fight for her life, for the possibility of a future.

Master thrust Buddy inside the small cage.  Across the room was an australian cattle dog. She growled. The bars were lifted, and the dog-Nayla-Ran to Buddy and tackled him, pinning him down.  She snarled in his face, and clawed at his chest.

Nayla winced in pain. She couldn't breath, for the wind had been knocked out of her. She stared at Buddy, shocked and dazed.  She could possibly faint.

"Girl, I know you can get him!" Nayla's Master shouted.

"Finish her, Buddy!" Master shouted at Buddy.

This fight could finish in death.

Nayla laid lifeless on the dirt floor of the arena.  Her body twitched.  "I wouldn't have killed you...I never fight to the death.." she whispered, then died.

"Buddy! Good job!" Master shouted.

"Nayla! No! My baby!" Nayla's Master sobbed.

The whistle sounded once again and someone grabbed Buddy roughly by his scruff and thrusted him to Master. "Don't touch my dog that way. He's a winner." Master told the man. He then left Buddy in one of the cages the arena had to offer to dogs that weren't currently fighting.  Master then took Cina, and stuck her in the small cage.  "You'll start soon. Wait for the whistle."
