(She's just going to be in her cage for now.)

 Suzume paced back and forth inside the cage. It was too small. She couldn't get out. She hated being around all these other dogs... She couldn't wait to get into the fighting ring and tear them apart. She *censored*umed she would win. But if she lost, it wouldn't be the first time.

Blue stared at the floor. I can't fight. I used to be a pet! But...they left me...and now...I'm stuck...here.

Wind looked at Suzume. So. Pretty. Woah. His mouth watered, but he shook his head.  No...she's a prize dog, and I'm.... He looked at himself. A nobody..

(ZOMG. YAY! SOMEONE LIKES ONE OF MY CHARACTERS FOR ONCE!! 8D )

Wind stared at her. Sure, they'd never be mates. Never touch each other. Never have pups. Never interact. Never...

And, ok, the list could go on forever, yeah, sure. But....he loved her. He'd never loved anyone else this way before..

Suzume looked away from the dog. She liked him, but she didn't want anyone to know. She could tell he already did, or she at least thought he did.

Blue saw a border collie staring at the jet-black dog.

Blue could tell what was going on. "Don't get too absessed with her. She'll break your heart."

 Suzume overheard Blue and snarled at him as if to say; shut up!

(Suzume and Blue  know eachother, if you can't tell)

Wind ignored Blue.

"Are you listening to me? She's dangerous. A murderer." ...yet you're still attracted to her... "I don't know if you're listening or not, pup, but here. I used to be a pet, and I knew a pack of street dogs that lived nearby. That dog you like-Suzume- was with them, and so was one of my friends, Ahto. So listen, Ahto loved Suzume, and Suzume loved him...well, she thought she did. But when Ahto became leader of that street pack, Suzume's thirst for blood took over. She didn't care who he was, even if he loved her... and...well...she shouldn't have...done this....but....

                                  ....She killed him.

She took over his position as leader, and that was all there was to it." Blue looked at the dog.

Suzume had heard the whole thing. They...they don't know the other side of the story.

Bandit glanced in the direction of the black furred prize dog. She had snarled at a dog from the Other dogs' cages, and he wondered why. His cage was quite far from the Other dogs, so it wasn't that easy to hear anything they said unless they said it in a rather loud tone.

Shaking his head, Bandit sighed and scratched the side of his paw with his front teeth. After doing so he looked out his cage and his eyes fell on to the door of the Master's house. He wondered if he were to go through that door if it will lead outside and away from this place. Away from the dog fights, away from the Master..

Bandit sighed again. But he couldn't see himself getting out of here anytime soon. 

Suzume continued to pace back and forth in her small cage. Great. Just great. Now Blue's got that collie thinking I'm a killer. If they knew... they'd realize that I had to do it. I had to kill that dog. He... he knew too much. And it was such a long time ago...  She paced more quickly and angrily than before.  Maybe I should wait and see if master makes me fight. I need to take my anger out on something...then maybe I can settle down. She didn't know it, but she was growling as the thoughts raced through her mind. She was too distracted by her anger.  Of all the dogs in the world, she thought, how come I've got to be one of the ones trapped here?

Wind had overheard, though it didn't seem like he had.  He didn't know if it was true or not, whether there was something different that happened in Suzume's mind, or if Blue had gotten the story completely wrong. Sighing, he continued to lay in his sad little corner.

The whistle sounded.  "Go, Cina!" Master shouted.  The small cage's front bar opened, and the hounds were released.  A Great Dane towered at the other side of the ring, baring his teeth in a snarl.  His large teeth to go with his size also gleamed in the dim-lit arena.  "Who are ya, punk? Time to go down." he snarled.  Thrusting himself to Cina, he toppled her over and sunk his claws into her shoulder bones. He then let go after a while.  "Quit already. You know you can't defeat me, mini-pup," he taunted.

Cina didn't so much as flinch when the Great Dane's claws were in her shoulders, instead she just snarl louder, rolling right back over onto her paws. It was as if she had detached herself from her body...

"I will fight! For my Master, and for my future!" she barked, rushing at the Dane with all the speed of a smaller dog, moving around to try and confuse him before she leaped onto the larger dog's back, sinking her teeth into the back of his neck. "I will not give up. I am fighting so that one day I may have a family and keep them safe from harm," she snarled, biting down even harder.
