( What time setting is this? and Where?) Angel whimpered quietly in her cage. A small tear raced down her cheek as she remembered her past. A sad, sad story whirled in her mind. She paid no attention to what was going outside. A hefty man, a body builder clearly, grabbed her cage and tossed her to the ground. she let out a small yip as she hit the asphalt.

(Okay.) Taro placed his head on his fingers. " Will you hurry up, William? Not trying to be rude, but I want to get the good slaves." he said in a calm voice. The driver rolled his eyes and smiled in a fake way. " Of course, sir." he said, still smiling. He whipped the horses. They let out a whinny and raced forwards. He finally got to the warehouse. The horses screeched to a halt. Taro was lurched forward. He hit the chair. Taro glared at the driver, then let it go. He stepped out of his ride and entered the warehouse. Taro looked around. There were some good ones. " Good, I get first pick." he said, smirking.

Emma couldn't sleep. All that she could think about was him. That liar who threw her in that dirty filthy cage 6 years prior. She had become a slave, had been sold, beaten and even raped, over and over again. Her masters never kept her for more than two or three months because of her anger issues. She had attempted to kill a few of them already. She escaped a few times, but never got far. In the end, they always ended up finding her and her punishments just kept her anger burning inside of her. She was planning her next escape .. No matter what would happen, no matter who would get in her way, she would find him, her husband ... ''I will get my revenge'' she whispered. |

Anise opened her pale scarlet eyes to a cold metal roof for the tenth time that month. It was still a surprise every day, one that left her immobilized wherever she awoke for a good few seconds before she re-realized her situation. Slavery. Or, almost. For now, just confinement.
I wish someone would come along and buy me already. She thought, eyes narrowing as she picked up a small bowl of thin vegetable stew and let the leftover heat seep into her palms. She wasn't usually one to get irritated, but her baby sister was ill and her family wouldn't get the money from the slavekeepers if she wasn't bought first.
Anise tasted the soup, not even bothering to worry about scalding her tongue; it was never warm enough for that. It wasn't actually that bad, though, compared to the food she'd eaten for years in what she now considered her 'old life'. Just broth and a few sodden vegetables floating around. Probably the ones that were already damaged when they came out of the crop.
Setting the bowl down after she had finished, Anise slouched back and closed her eyes, fully determined to take another nap. She wasn't given much of a chance though; the door to the warehouse was pully roughly open. The young usagimimi winced at the sound of badly-oiled metal scraping against metal, and flattened her ears against her skull until it ceased. Sunlight filtered in through the bars of her cage, and she shuffled to the front, wanting to soak up as much Vitamin D as she could.
Already there was one man milling around, muttering that he had the first pick of slaves. Anise raised her eyebrows at this and yawned, settling comfortably in the corner and laying her head against the cool metal. She was at ease, to be honest. Pretty much content wherever she was, and she never fought back against the men who handled the transportation and care of the slaves. They hadn't done anything to her yet, so why make a fuss about it? That was why she had been given her white collar- it stood for loyalty and obedience. Work with me here, karma. She thought. I came here willingly, right? To save my sister. At least let me be bought today.
