OoC: Since I am a horse nut, I must clarify. ::giggles:: In all technicality, there are no white horses. They are all variations of gray. "White" is just the wash-out recessive gene of gray, much like palomino is the recessive of chestnuts. o3o As for the blue eyes, they are typically referred to as wall-eyes or gla.ss eyes, depending on if they are against pink skin or solid color. >.< I'm a nerd, but I should be since I've been riding for five years-ish. Ser, I didn't mind typing your name out but I shall call you this if you prefer. Your username is just so pretty. =3 And thank you! Your compliment makes me blush. Though, I have to say, I am not the type of person to do little things. I am all or nothing, which means a long post xD
When do we start? O3O

OoC: Finished reading your bio Ser, and it's amazing. Most defiantly accepted. I guess we can start now, finally, yeah I know. I was talking to Siri and liked her idea of starting them at a correctional horse camp. That way theirs not just some random horses galloping around. The camp is set up during the summer for disrespectful, unruly teens who need to learn some manners, or just random teens who would enjoy a summer filled with horses, mucking out stalls, and listening to adults. Theres a main lodging building where everyone sleeps, a slightly smaller building where food is served and indoor activities are held, and a stable. The daily routine can be determined on the direction the RP is heading. Oh, and we will start before they find their horses, if thats okay with everyone else? Someone can post their intro's now or can wait until I post mine, does not matter to me.

Sitting on a lawn chair that he'd laid backwards Jace sighed contently as the warm summer breeze ruffled his already unruly hair and the only sound was the ocean waves lapping hungrily at the white sand. No one was around to annoy him for once, no pesky sea gulls filling the air with the god awful shrieks, nothing but him, the sun, and the ocean. At least until what felt like a earthquake made the ground tremble and a roar cut through the calm. Knocked out of his peaceful dream, Jace sat up in his uncomfortable bus seat with a start, blue eyes searching around wildly for seconds. Why was he taking a bus again when he could drive? Oh yeah. Damned rules. A familiar snicker forced him to look back over the seat at the occupant behind him. "I was starting to wonder if you were going to sleep through the entire ride and exiting the bus to our new summer home." Faythe drawled out, voice harsh with sarcasm. "I would not have woke you up, and considering we're in the back seats no one would have even remembered you." Her green eyes flashed up to his own pale ones, mocking clear in them. "And you would have missed me the entire summer, admit it you would have been bored to tears with me not around to fuel your snarky comments." He mused lightly, a smile tugging on his lips. He was used to her behavior, though few understood how he could, and knew her reasons for doing so. He was better off without knowing his father rather then going through what Faythe's father did to her. But he could not help but wonder what kind of person he would have grown up to be if he'd had a male role model around. Faythe annoyed grunt drew him from his sentimental thoughts and the blonde looked out the window where his so called friend was glaring. A mas*sive colonial two story house surrounded by chipping white picket fences came into view, looking old and like it could use a new paint job. If that was one of the task they were going to be given over the summer he was going to bolt to the nearest town and file for abuse. A red barn, looking much nicer, was behind it. All in all it looked like a typical horse ranch. Faythe cursed under her breadth as the bus came to a jarring halt, throwing them both forwards in their seats. "I'm going to strangle a bus driver." The female snarled, green eyes flashing with malice as she reached under her seat and pulled out her luggage bag. Jace copied her. After a long talk about rules, regulations, and medical help if ever needed, a elderly woman with a beak like face and a attitude that could almost rival Faythe's, pointed to a small bunk house. "You'll be staying there. Boys on the right hallway and girls on the left." She barked, already walking away. Some correctional camp. Jace thought with little humor, lugging his bag over his shoulder and making his way towards his designated sleeping spot, opening the first door he came to and claiming it as his own. There were two beds in the room, and a large bathroom for the boys and one for the girls. He wondered if they were supposed to have room mates, considering the two beds. He really hoped not. He himself would be alright with it, but Faythe would have issues, probably getting herself into more trouble then she normally if she did so. Opening some of the drawers designated to clothes, Jace coughed as dust and cobwebs marred every corner. "I already hate this place." He growled, wiping the drawer out and unpacking his few belongings. Not that he did not have a lot, but he did not want to destroy all of his clothes while out in Sam's hill knows where. A knock on the door drew his attention, and he called for who ever to come in. Faythe threw herself onto his bed, head hanging limply off the side as if she owned it. Then again he was not about to reboot her, he liked all of his bones in place and skin un-bruised. "Wonder who else we're gonna be stuck with?" Faythe mused, glaring, like normal, out the window.

OoC: Stray ::pokes politely:: I think you meant for girls to be in the left hallway. ;3 BiC "You are going, and that is final, Zephyra!" Still fuming at her mother's last words, the young blonde nervously sat in the first seat of the bus, right behind the driver. From this vantage point, Zephyra could breathe down the neck of the driver; watching her turn, break, stop, accelerate, etcetera. It eased her phobia. She hated the feeling of fear and wanted to defeat it, and she slowly was. Each time she got into a car is was a small victory, and every time she came out unharmed it was a huge victory. As she hovered, Zephyra occupied her mind with the past days events. As usual, her mother and she had fought, although, this time had been a bit more serious. Coming home late from her part time job, Zephyra had stated to her mother, who was sitting in her chair watching some new show, that she was going to bed. It was her usual ritual that was completed every night, only this time it wasn't so simple. Her mother had called her into the living room, she didn't even bother to mute the TV when she informed Zephyra that she would be leaving in three days to go to a correctional horse camp. Staring in open-mouthed shock, Zephyra had demanded reasons. "You're too...you're too much," was all her mother said, after a long pause which conveniently ended when a commercial came on. "I need...I think you need time to learn yourself." With an exaggerated, throaty huff of disbelief, Zephyra began whining loudly about how well she was doing in college, how much time she spent working, and how little her mother did to support the two of them. Clearly offended, her mother had ordered Zephyra to her room, but the command went to deaf ears because Zephyra was already gone when her mother bothered to notice, her eyes glued to the vivid screen. Once in the haven of her room, Zephyra let another cry of disbelief erupt from her mouth. Kicking at a pair of pants in vexation, she then collapsed on her bed and contemplated the inevitable. I'm going to a horse camp, and it won't even be fun because they are going to try to fix my "problems". Now, sitting on the bouncing bus, Zephyra knew that her tight belly was more than just the nerves of the bus ride. She was nervous about what was going to come. Will they actually change me? she wondered briefly but quickly tossed that idea away. No, all my mother wants is to get me out of her hair for a summer. Her eyes narrowed in a menacing glare as she thought about all the trouble she had to go through, changing her college schedule and quitting her job. "This is going to be oodles of fun, I can tell already," she fairly growled to herself. Thankful that her lethal, cold stare had spooked the other p*censored*engers away, Zephyra hogged her seat protectively. When the bus hit a screeching halt, Zephyra almost fainted. White as a ghost, she barely listened to the woman explain the rules, regulations, and other stuff; distracted by the booger in her nose. This close the thing looked huge and when she was permitted to leave the bus, Zephyra almost forgot her bag in her hast. Skipping every step, she jumped the stairs and took four good strides away from her death sentence. "I'm alive..." Looking at the well kept housing facility and barn, she added, "So far." They must use us kids as slaves to keep this place spit polish clean. When she entered the house with her meager duffle bag, Zephyra rolled her eyes at the advisers obviously permanent sour attitude as she explained the rooming situation. Taking instant advantage, Zephyra paced to the last door on the left hallway. Opening the door she found herself delighted to see a window facing out to the barn. Though the room had a stale scent to it and dust coated any solid surface, she felt oddly comfortable. That is, until she saw the two twin sized beds. "I would rather eat my own hands than have a room mate," she grumbled to no one. Throwing her bag on the nearest bed, causing a dust bomb, Zephyra coughed and wheezed as she opened the window. Peeking out she was satisfied that the ground was a simple three feet away. Perfect. Turning back she examined the room further. The pale, baby blue walls were charming in the old house way as was the white ceiling and simple drapes. The comforter was a slightly darker blue than the walls with typical cream flower patterns. Hardwood floors were beneath her feet, the color of rich brown chestnut, though there was a board between the two beds that creaked if stepped on and one in front of the single dresser. Grabbing her duffle bag, Zephyra opened the bottom drawer and frowned. A daddy long leg sat innocently enough in the corner. Goose bumps rippled up her forearms and Zephyra bravely steeled herself as she reached over and plucked the horrid creature out of her drawer by one creepy, long leg. Not having the heart to smash the critter, she placed him outside her window, whispered, "If you dare come back I won't show mercy next time." Going back she thoroughly checked for any more creepy crawlies, and once satisfied, Zephyra opened her bag to empty out her two skinny jeans, three t-shirts, one pair of PJ pants, four tank tops, two breeches, and numerous socks and under garments. If she needed more, she would just go to the little town they had p*censored*ed earlier and buy more with the cash she had taken out of the bank. It had been saved for summer quarter, but with the change of plans it would work nicely for new cloths. Rubbing her forefinger and thumb over the leather seat of the breeches, Zephyra smiled. Horses had always been a brighter part of her life. Reaching into the bag again, she took out a pair of paddock boots, her half-chaps, and leather gloves. Placing them outside of the drawer, Zephyra hoped that the stable would provide helmets because hers hadn't fit in the duffle bag so she sadly left it at home. Finished unpacking, Zephyra stood up and looked around boredly. Her long, blonde braid swayed down her back as she looked around. Deciding it was time to explore, she set out of the room in search of something to do.

PAST "You did what?" Erika cringed slightly, sinking farther into the safety of her hood. "It wasn't my fault," she muttered, though it really wouldn't have made a difference. Her mother had already worked herself up into such a fury she was literally tearing at her hair. "He provoked me and..." Her mother cut in again, eyes filled with wild accusation. "I don't care! This is the second time you've gone and attacked somebody! Why Erika? Why do you always have to come out as the winner?" Making a growling noise and shaking her head roughly Erika's mother grabbed her shoulder and propelled her towards the front door, despite the girl's loud protests. "I found out yesterday. You're going to this camp the guidance counselor recommended. And you aren't coming back until you've reformed!" As Cecilia's fingers dug deeply into the soft flesh of Erika's shoulder, she pushed the front door open with her free hand and shoved Erika out the door. "Taxi's taking you," she called out, and then slammed the door in the teen's face. All Erika could remember was the smug look on her half-sister's face as she was pushed out of her own house and forced to go to some correctional camp. Horse riding? Pfft, Erika thought derisively, her posture stiff as she clambered into the waiting taxi. Giving her an odd look the driver shrugged after a moment of staring and revved the engine, the sickly scent of gasoline filling the back seat. Gagging Erika wondered how long the ride was. Considering the amount of money that her mother had shoved into her small bag, which was already in the taxi, Erika was willing to bet that it was a few hours, at the least. Dammit, she thought bitterly, placing one elbow on the sill of the window and leaning her head on her hand with a dramatic sigh. Two months in isolation at a horse farm...I'm so dead. Erika groaned quietly and clenched her fists together in a gesture of anger, her knuckles turning white. Feeling the car hum and vibrate beneath her, Erika wondered idly if the car was some sort of deathtrap. Sure sound like it, she mused, no longer caring about what was going on. Glancing out the window tiredly Erika could see the street lights and stop signs flash by as they exited the city. Blushing and rubbing the bridge of her nose awkwardly Erika new there was no way she was even going to speak to the cabdriver. Lifting her head and sighing Erika folded her arms and leaned against the ratty old leather of her seat. Closing her eyes she visualized life with a father figure in it, a typical daydream for her. They wouldn’t go hungry some nights because he’d have a steady job. There’d be someone to share her artwork with, someone who would appreciate it. They wouldn’t shop at thrift stores for their clothing unless they had their own money. Small things like that, Erika thought sadly, make all the difference. PRESENT The screeching of tires jolted Erika from her nap. Rubbing her eyes blearily she blinked and peered out the window, a cautious ex pression on her face. At least there’s some nature, she thought glumly, pointedly ignoring the horse stables. Shaking her head slightly Erika shoved the money her mother had given her into the cab driver’s waiting hand and scrambled out of the taxi as fast as she could. As she slipped her bag onto her shoulder Erika began a slow walk towards the main entrance, her feet dragging ever so slightly. “Joy to me,” she muttered. Wincing as the sudden change in light hit her, Erika pressed one hand to her forehead and glanced around the room with a bored ex pression on her face. “…stairs?” she wondered aloud in a soft voice, then began making her way towards the simple, slightly rickety staircase.

Kyoko kicked around the rocks on the old road. Her legal guardian, Mrs. Stacey, decided that to save money the driver would dump her in the town about a mile away. She left a day early because of this and now she was walking along a dull road trying to reach her destination. She had no idea what type of camp she was being sent to but it probably was just as bad as the twins in the room next to hers. Every night they would bang on the wall to annoy her along with other obnoxious things. “Don’t worry Kyoko, everything will be fine. You will love it there and maybe you’ll make new friends. Just remember your manners!” Mrs. Stacey yelled at her as she entered the car. Kyoko kept playing the scene in her head. Mrs. Stacey would pull her away from the brownstone building she called home. The twins watched her curiously as she stepped into the car. Then the driver zoomed away from the building. Hours p*censored*ed as landscapes rolled around in front of her. Soon enough she was dropped off at a dinner. She was about to ask where she was supposed to go but the driver just waved his hand at her and drove off. She tried the dinner and a waitress was nice enough to give her directions. Now she was stuck walking to a place that she didn’t know and certainly would not like with her small backpack full of belongings. After hours of walking she approached a sign that welcomed her to her own personal Hell. Buses turned off the road and drove off to the complex. She shuddered at the building with chipped paint and a dull red barn. She saw a couple of horses running around and she tensed up more. She never did like horses after her parent’s death. She could recall burning eyes of horses charging at her but after that she couldn’t remember anything. “I swear she lives to torture me.” Kyoko said shaking her head when a waterfall of kids started to pour out of the buses. She followed them to one of the better kept buildings as they pushed her out of the way. She decided to run in front of most of the kids to the last room on the left. She opened the door and saw someone already in the room. She stayed back hesitantly before sticking her head in the room. “May I room with you?” She asked politely hoping the girl would let her.

OoC: Would anyone like their characters to have a roommate? Kyoko is talking to someone, though i'm not exactly sure who, so she'll have a roommate. Jace is okay with having one, though i'm not sure about Faythe.
