Aven leaned her head against the bus window. Her iPod headphine in her ears as drummed her fingers on her lap as she listened to Switchfoot. She looked up at the clouds as she remeber who she got on the stupid bus with the troubled kids. [FLASHBACK] "Aven dear, I'm sorry but you're going to have to go." Her mother stately simply as she looked at her bills. Aven had just come back from a flute lesson. She was just heading into the living room when her mother stopped her to tell that she was being shipped off to a horse ranch. Obviously her mother had read the brocher probably because it was a correctionary camp for troubled teens. "I'm sure it'll do you some good. There's horses, hon. And I'm sure you'll make friends, be a good thing for you." Her mother said looking at her for moment before looking at the paper spread out on the table infront of her. "Mom, you know animals hate me. And you want me to make a bunch of friends with troubled teens. I'm not to sure thats a good idea." "Thats, not true. Nike likes you." She said, and as if on cue the rottweiler puppy came running into the room. He barked once at Aven before sitting at her feet. "But mom still..." Aven said as she looked up from the dog. "Birdie..."Her mother sighed, before turning around to face her daughter. She looked into Aven's blue eyes. "I know its all very last minute, but you know why you have to go." She patted her daughters leg. "Now go, play mommy Moonlight Sonata. Get the violin." she said before she turning back to the paperwork. Aven sighed before running up the stairs to her room. She knew why she had to go. Her mother was getting a divorce from Eddie, step-daddy number three. Aven sighed, it was a sham, Eddie was nice, they had met him on a trip to England, he had the most amazing accent, but it seemed his buisness seemed to mean more to him than her mother, and he was always trying to buy Aven's love - although he had already had it long ago - by buying expensive gifts, or he might have just been showing off. She quickly put some stuff into a big wheely suitcase she had found in her closet. A couple of sweaters, some tee-shirts, jeans, and other nessecary stuff. But most of the room in her suitcase was being taken up by her violin. She wasn't sure if she'd be able to take it, so might as well hide it. [END OF FLASHBACK] She opened her eyes again to see that they were nearing the camp. She looked around her at the kinds. The girl at the front looked frantic and the other kids were just talking or sitting plugged in to their music devices. When the bus stopped she followed the others and took her suitcase and followed the others kids. She pulled out her headphones to listen to a grumpy old woman, but its not as if she was actually listening to the gas bag. She was taking in her surroundings. There were so many animals, and so much nature. She cringed slightly, her nature and animals didn't get along well. Animals freaked out and ran from her, and plants died when she touched then for to long. She snapped out of her daze when she noticed people where moving towards the cabin. She watched as guys went to one side and girls to the other. She followed some of the other girls and quickly picked out a room. She walked in and quickly put her stuff in the corner. She looked around in the room and saw that there were too beds. She hoped that no one was in this one. She looked around the room and saw no suitcase, but then again the person might have already unpacked, and put their stuff away. She walked over to a dresser and opened a drawer, it was empty and it was lined with dust. She grunted slightly and grabbed a pack of tissues from her suitcase and wiped the bottom with a tissue. She couldn't see a garbage so she just slid the tissue under one of the bed. She quickly put her stuff away and placed her violin on top. ((So, do with that what you will. Aven could be with either with Fayth or Det Character, who's name slips my min XP))

OoC: Aven can board with Faythe, thats fine. Faythe sighed as the slammed of doors met her ears, signaling the arrival of the other girls picking their room. "None of them better be in my room." She muttered, green eyes flashing with annoyance. "I don't want some snotty brat going through my stuff of getting in my way." Jace snickered, already able to visualize her horrified look if she walked into her room and found some pink, frilly girl sitting on her bed. About to say something, Faythe cursed and got up off the bed, right knee popping loudly, and walked out into the hallway, slamming the door loudly until it rattled on it's frame. "I feel sorry for her roommate. They don't know what their getting into." He mused, walking over to his window and looking out. Horses littered the field that the room gave view to, some galloping around happily while most had their heads down eating. Faythe grumbled things the entire walk to her room, arms crossed over her chest. Giving a glare at anyone who dared look her way, she recognized the door she'd entered earlier and was horrified to find it slightly ajar where she'd closed it. Palm open, she smacked the door open with more force then necessary, her flesh hitting the wood making a cracking sound. Another girl came into view, looking small and fragile. A scowl almost permanently marred Faythe's face as she stood in the doorway, muscular body blocking any escape unless it was out the window. But by the girls tiny looks that would not be happening. "Who are you?" She asked, voice cold. She knew her eyes were shooting lasers by now but she did not care any. "First name only. I don't want, or need any sort of details." Walking over to her bed she plopped down on it, sitting with her legs crossed and back against the wall. "If your going to be my room mate you've got something comin." She sneered, white teeth flashing almost in a animalistic snarl.

[Ah'm confused. xD I'll just let Erika let be for now. o_O Until someone steps forwards or something. ^^] Looking cautiously around the doorframe that separated the hall from the stairs, Erika wondered if she was sharing a room. Shuddering at the thought, the thin girl stepped into the hall slowly and began padding down it as quietly as she could. Brushing her hair behind her ears nervously Erika glanced around with decidedly mouse-like look on her face, eyes darting from side to side quickly as she took in her surroundings.
Something about this place is too quiet, she thought irately, though a tingling feeling zipped up her spine at the eerie silence. There's no on- Her train of though was cut off as she heard some commotion going on in one of the first rooms, which seemed to be across the hall from hers.
"If you're going to be my room mate you've go something comin'." The voice was a loud snarl, and Erika cringed just from hearing it. I don't want to know what the speaker even looks like, she thought. "Thank goodness," she murmured, glad she hadn't been stuck with whoever was yelling at the delicate girl standing by the doorway. Peering over the girl's shoulder, as Erika was now standing just outside her own room, she saw a large muscular girl, legs crossed nonchalantly and a malicious sneer on her face as she tried to frighten her room mate.
"Hey," Erika spoke up suddenly, not sure if this was a good idea. "Why are you being so cruel to her?"

Someone spoke over her new 'room mates' shoulder, causing Faythe to twitch in annoyance. Great, how many annoyances are going to be in this hell hole. She asked herself, rolling her green eyes. Standing up again, she crossed her arms in a familiar gesture to keep from punching a wall or a face, and glared over the tiny girls shoulder at the other. "Because being cruel is the only way you'll survive in this forsaken world." She hissed, voice low and soft; the one Jace always compared to a snake. "Because to survive you have to be strong, not allow anyone to walk all over you. And if my room mate," she sneered the word "cannot even stand up to herself against me then what good is she?" Turning her back on the other females she looked angrily out the window. If she had not learned to be cruel, learned to stand up for herself, she would not be alive now. She sneered again, top lip curling at the side slightly. "Anyway, who are you to be challenging me?"

"You mean being an uncouth brute?' Erika asked boldly, even lifting an eyebrow for some added effect. Her typical 'I won't lose' attitude was taking over again, and the girl clasped her hands together just in case she decided to go for her knife. Considering her mother's warning, it wouldn't be a smart move to attack the girl. At least, not yet. Twitching slightly Erika lifted her chin and stared proudly into the bully's eyes, her clear green eyes flashing.
"Seems to me like you're lacking a little in the brains department, hmmm?" Letting her hands go Erika slowly smoothed the thumb of her dominant left hand over the palm of her right, the simple action soothing her anger slightly.
Bullies...they're everywhere, aren't they? she thought derisively, trying to block out the painful images of her childhood. She didn't need to go back there.

Aven jumped when she heard the door open. She turned to see a girl standing angrily in the doorway. Oh god. She thought as the girl glared at her. "Who are you?" the girl asked angrily. "Oh, uh-" "First name only. I don't want, or need any sort of details." She interupted. She crossed the room and planted herself onto one of the beds. She crossed her legs and leaned against the wail as she glared at Aven. "If your going to be my room mate you've got something comin." She smiled, although, Aven wouldn't really describ that as a smile. More of some sort of evil possesed grin. Aven chewed her lip. It seemed as if animals, weren't the only creatures that didn't like her. Not that the girl was far from one, especially with a sneer like that. "Uh, It's Aven-" "Hey," Came a voice from behind her. "Why are you being so cruel to her?" Aven turned to see another girl. She scratched the back of her neck, and moved out of the way as the two girl were having a back and forth. She moved back towards her dresser and shut her violion case. It closed with a click. She looked over her slightly to see if the girls heard it, but then se turned back and shut the drawer. She pulled up her dark blue skinny jeans and kicked of her UGGs and pushed them under her bed. She looked at the girls for a moment before she she sat down on her bed. She leaned her back on the headboard. She put her head phone back in her ear and put the music back on. She didn't want to get between them, It was nice that the girl was looking out for her but Aven didn't really want any part in it. She put her head phone in her ears and turned back up her music. She turned her music loud, making sure to put on some more up to date music instead of her Choppin. Sure the music was hurting her ears but she didn't mind the guys voice, and it blocked out the two girls. She ran her fingers through her bacl hair and watched for a moment to see where this was going. Once they left, she'd take her violin and practise.

Faythe tipped her head backwards slightly so she could look at the bold girl over her shoulder. The words annoyed her to no end, but she'd let her think she'd won for now. It always amused her when people thought she'd shut her mouth because she was off put or deterred, but in the end came back with a vengeance. The shy girl on the bed suddenly spoke up, though her voice was quiet and slightly scared. Good, maybe she'd leave. "Aven eh? Interesting name, not a common one." Her voice was still cold, holding no emotion other then scorn. The girl though reminded her of herself all those years ago, when she'd been nothing but a whipped, scared little brat. Those memories refueled her rage. Turning and pressing her back against the cool gl*censored* of the window she eyed her main threat right now, the bold one. Scanning over her quickly like she'd always been taught, she could quickly make out the indenture of the knife in her pockets. Raising a eyebrow in likeness of the other, she smirked for once instead of sneer. "Wouldn't go for that knife if I was you." She warned, patting her own pocket. "Like I said, this world is cruel so i'v learned never go anywhere unarmed." She wondered vaguely if she even knew how to use the knife or if it was all a bluff. She could not see any prominent scars on her hands that wold result in a knife fight, nor did she seem all to muscular, unlike herself. Eyes flashing over to Aven, she chuckled coldly. "Don't worry girly, you don't bother me in any way that angers me and I won't use it on you. Or," she pointed with a upturned hand towards Erika. "you can go with her. Apparently she ain't much better then I am." A masculine snicker echoed from the hallway, the sound filled with contempt. "It's alright Aven, she is not as evil as she makes out to be." Jace laughed, using her name to show he'd been standing there in the shadows for a while. "Though I will warn you if you decide to stay with her that she's a troubled sleeper, likes to start screaming in the middle of the night screaming. Just throw something at her, and tell her too shut up." He walked into the room, p*censored*ing Erika at the door way and standing between the two combating females. He gave Faythe a annoyed look, showing that he was not pleased with her ethnics at meeting new people. "Throw something at me and it will be the last thing you ever touch." Faythe snapped, aiming a none to gentle punch at Jace's arm, connecting with a solid 'thunk.' He made a grunting sound, rubbing the bruise sure to form. "Thanks for the intro there dumb as*s. Not everyone needs to know about my problems." He only shrugged, showing he was not sorry for his big mouth. Faythe let out a annoyed sighed, throwing her arms in the air and returning to her bed to sit. Jace grinned, blue eyes amused at her unwillingness to combat with him like she would anyone else. He took it as a good sign. "So your some of the new recruits eh?" He asked Erika and Aven, looking between them yet keeping his eyes respectfully on their faces. "Mind if I ask whatcha here for?" Looking back to make sure his anger management needing friend was staying put, he pressed on. "I'm here for not abiding the law, or my mother. You can guess what Faythe over there's here for. I'm Jace by the way, and this creature of the night is Faythe." OoC: Put Erika and Faythe in a locked room alone and sparks will fly, hopefully no blood along with it. ^.^

[Oh, but there would be. Erika is...quick and deadly with her knife. Let's just say she studied anatomy before learning how to handle a very thin and long-bladed knife. o.o] Erika smirked. "Looks like your brother controls you," she said in a soft voice, though it held a cutting edge to it. Slowing down the movements of her hands Erika flipped open the knife that she always carried with her, examining the gleaming edge with a bemused ex pression on her face. "Don't worry, I'm usually careful with my knives...but you know. It could always accidentally slip."
Putting the knife back in her pocket, but still within easy reach, Erika gazed at the newcomer. "What I'm here for is none of your business," she said, her voice now cold and monotone, giving nothing away. Inwardly though, the girl smiled. She enjoyed confusing people with her sudden changes in mood and seemingly personality. More than once she had been asked if she was bi-polar.
Blinking her eyes and crossing her arms nonchalantly Erika glanced at the other girl, who was sitting on her bed by now. "Try standing up for yourself," Erika offered with a kind smile. "You'd go a long way."

Kyoko entered the room anyway and dropped her bag on one of the beds. Opening her eye wider she could make out the girls outline with her skill. The room was very dusty and when she breathed in she almost choked. “Ah the smell of exoskeletons, delightful isn’t it?” She asked the girl not caring whether or not she responded. A small movement in the corner of her eye made her focus on the floor where she saw the outline of a spider. She smiled picking it up in her hands. It crawled around rapidly trying to run away from her but getting no where fast. Kyoko chuckled at the small being’s struggle. She opened the small window and shooed the creature out of her hand. Turning around after closing the window she opened the draw to a very old dresser. She unzipped her backpack and took out her three pairs of clothes and her two pairs of pajamas. She placed them in one corner of the drawer leaving the rest of the space for the other girl. She placed her brush, toothbrush, and toothpaste on top of the dresser on the side she clamed. She sighed and took out her very last possession, her IPod. She turned it on and started to listen to Gackt to calm her nerves. She thought over the situation in her head as she lay on the bed. She was stuck her with strangers and horses. She would probably have to work most of the time which wasn’t unfamiliar. If there where horses she would probably have to ride one. Shuddering at the thought she concentrated on the music and cleared her mind of any camp related thoughts. Just think of this as a fancy hotel you can’t leave until the summer is over. She thought to herself. She peeked o9ut in the hallway and saw the outline of a group of kids. She decided not to get involved before curiosity took over her and she quietly approached. “Hi.” She said in a strong calm voice lowering the volume on her IPod.
