"I hesitated... and now that I think about it, if you died I dont' think I could continue forward for any reason." Ace said weakly, though she firmly meant what she said. She believed that her heart would break and there would be no point in saving their kind without Creek. She sighed releasing one tear and wipeing it away as fast as it came. Ace walked back to the others, Creek obviously wasn't in the mood to accept an apology.

After Creek got beyond the sight of the place they where at, he puled out his daggers and threw them at the tree, both of them hitting in the ext place he wanted them to. Then he took his bow and shot three arrows in a horizantal line in between the daggers. He saw a two squirels and shot both of them and then retrieved all of his weapond and walked back to camp silently.

Bree left, following Creek. "You okay?" She tried to start a conversation, but couldn't think of what to say. Her pistol was in her hand, and her dagger was safely tucked in her pants. She looked around for signs of anything to hunt that Creek hadn't already gotten, but didn't find anything.

Bree then remembered. She put two fingers to her lips, her thumb and her index finger. She let out a loud, high pitched whistle. Soon, a horse came galloping up to her. He was as black as night, and was appropriately named Night. The horse had no saddle, for Bree feared that the saddle would weigh him down. She let him run free when she didn't need him, but she had trained him to come to her at the sound of her whistle.

Creek glanced up when shw whistle and looked back down. He layed down and closed his and waited for a second. If Ace decided to talk to him again, he would acept her apologie, as for now, he would stay silent.

Ace's eyes only showed her pain, her face showed nothing. She walked to where Creek was and said," Follow me, I want to show you something." Everyone was asleep, besides herself and the cresent moon of the midnight sky. Ace waited to see if he would respond, for if not, she would keep it to herself.

Bree jumped onto her horse and smiled. She squeezed her knees together, signalling to Night. Night took off, galloping full speed across the forest. ((braindead.))

Creeks eyes opened to Ace's face and he got up and started to fallow her silently, his night vison watching everything that showed. "what are we doing?" he asked in a dulled and tired voice.

Ace brushed the bush apart and showed him a pond. She knelt at the edge and beckoned him over to it. She peered into its surface and saw a white wolf staring back at her. The leadership and intimidating glare showed in its green eyes. Ace whispered,"It is said that you could see your true self in a unmoving waters edge, if your heart and intent is pure ofcourse." She wondered if he could see what she was, the water also reflected the cresent moon in its black depths. Ace figured Creek would be able to see it... but that was merely an *censored*umption. If the other rumors were true, those that could see your soul essence reflected, they, by a very high chance, were your match or "soulmate" as some called it. Though, there was great power in witnessing one of these events, and it was very rare...

Creek walked to the edge and peered in. He had heared of this before and he always wanted to look. He saw a golden eagle glareing back, the noblility and loyalness to its partner and kin as well as its graceful agility and power made it a force to be reckoned with. He looked over a Ace's side and saw the gleaming green eyes of a white wolf and he looked at her and stayed quit for a moment before speaking. "There is easier ways of telling someone you love them then by showing them the spirit pond. How you even found this was unimaginable."

Ace shrugged,"I suppose that the little voice in my head guided me to it, honestly though, I had no other ideas on how to tell you." She smiled, watching as the wolf mimicked her actions. Perhaps this journey was going to be even more of a vast telling than she believed...

Creek walked over to her and gave her a hug. It was nice to not be trying to hide anything. "We never got to finish our dual" He said not really caring about it but said it more so to start a conversation.

Ace hugged him back,"Indeed. but why bother with it now? We know we're equally matched." She was glad that she had nothing else to hide. All that was left was to finish their quest.

"equally matched with one, i have mastered two as well, i never got to show you snything with that." He said with a grin. The war was begining to come to there side, if they both got through this alive, he would love to be able to be with Ace every second of every day.
