In the misty mountains of Tenessee there stands a large school, tucked securely against the side of the forest. It is surrounded by high, thick stone walls and made up of seven distinct buildings. Inside those buildings live elemental mages in training. They are teenagers, ranging in age from 15-19, culled from their highschools around the world by means of magical testing. Each young man and woman holds the ability to control and manipulate one of six elements: wind, water, fire, earth, ice, and electricity. Here in the Eemental Mage College they learn how to use and their powers and magnify them through the use of Power Stones.
  

   Power Stones were discovered in the ruins of what is now thought to have been Atlantis in the year 2100. The stones were found to allow people who have natural affinities for the elements to actually control them. Soon, it was found that science could actually replicate the Stones and the Age of Mages was born.
 

  It is now the year 2570. The College of Mages has stood for over 200 years and is still the only one of its kind. Inside its walls teenagers with elemental powers study under the Magi or mage professers. They live, learn, and work together to make their world a better place. You have been chosen to attend this magical school. Welcome home, Mage-in-training.

  The school is set in the Blue Ridge Mountains. It is surrounded by forests and streams, and innaccessible except by Mage Ship. It is made up of seven distinct buldings and surrounded by thick walls to protect the mages - in - training.

The Wind Building:

  The wind building serves as the dorm room for all Wind Mages as well as the classrooms for Wind related subjects. It stands four stories high and is shaped as a hollow cube with the center open to the sky. It's walls are made entirely of large panes of strong glass supported by girders of silvery metal. The walls between rooms are opaque glass and open out onto balconies that overlook the courtyard in the center of the building. The bottom two floors are the only ones connected by stairs and serve as the classrooms. The top two floors are only accessible through Wind magicand serve as the dorms. Each mage-in-training recieves their own room and bathroom with shower. The mages-in-training are allowed to deccorate the room as they choose with furninshings from the College Store.

The Water Building:

  The Water building serves as both the dorm and classrooms for the Water Mages. It is very low to the ground and very wide, built over a very deep natural spring. The building itself is made out of chunks of sea glass and river stones. The front of the building is devoted to classrooms, and the rear of the building opens out into an indoor park. The ground is grassy and crisscrossed by little streams. In the center lies the spring. The dorms lie at the bottom of the spring and can only be accessed by a Water Mage. The rooms are set up in the same way as those of the Wind Building.

The Fire Building:

  Both the dorm and classroom for the Fire Mages, the Fire Building is designed in the style of a Japanese shrine. It's walls are made of bamboo wood and the doors of thin sheets of opaque paper. In the center of the square building burns a great fire, surrounded by low seats. The classes are all held here. The rest of the building is made up of individual rooms.

The Earth Building:

  The Earth Building is made of stone and wood, and has several very large trees growing through it. The classrooms are situated in the tops of these trees, which can be reached by means of a series of climbing buckets and is connected by a string of walkways running between the trees. The Dorms are actually beneath the ground, hidden behind a three ton boulder that can only be moved with Earth Magic.

The Ice Building:

  The ice building is actually an artificial glacier. It hugs the side of the mountain and is cooled by Ice Magic. Inside, the walls, floors, and furniture are all completly made of ice. The top la
yer is made up of ice caves that comprise the classrooms. The lower levels are the dorms and are located at the bottom of a sheer drop down the ice. An Ice Mage can create a staircase down to the dorms below.

The Electricity Building:

  The Electricity Building is made of solid steel. Walls, doors, floors. The furniture is all constructed of nonconductive materials. The classrooms line the right hand side of the building while a line of extremely high voltage electricity divides the left side from it. It requires an Electric Mage to pass across to the dorms on the left side.

Personality: Sarafina, who perfers to be called either Sara or Fi, is firey and short tempered. She is very passionate and strong willed, but stubborn to a fault. She has a hard time listening to people who hae not earned her respect.  She is also amazingly loyal to the people who are close to her.

History: Sara was raised by her grandmother. Her parents both died in a carwreck when she was too young to remember. She has a huge family of cousins, aunts and uncles, but no brothers or sisters.

 He was raised in a mountain village, along with his younger sister.  His father stayed at home with them while their mother was off on her business trips.  He was found to have elemental abilities at age 15, though his sister did not.  It was hard to part from his family, though he finally managed.

History: He had lived in the Appaltion mountins, when he was only 5 years old. His parents were pacifist, they hated fights. thats why they moved up there. When he was 14 he found out he could control the wind, he thought he was some kind of freak or it was normal for a mountin person to do. Thats until he heard of the school

Appearance:Long, flowing snowy-white hair past her waist. Ice-blue eyes. Pale, almost porcelain coloured, skin. small lips and a dainy nose. Pretty-looking. Of medium build, about 5''7 tall. Tends to wear sleeveless tops and thin jeans, no matter what the weather.

Personality: Kind and caring, dislikes fighting but will do so if need be, or if someone insults her friends or family. Has a way of making people feel at home, even when she isn't. Tries her best to brighten up peoples days, often leaving herself depressed, though she won't show it. When she was younger, she used to lash out at people a lot, but has it mostly under control now.

History: Born and raised in the mountainous regions of Canada, she's pretty well adjused to the cold. Recently, when she was helping her mother herd the sheep, her brother ran out and was about to be crushed by an avalanche of snow, until she screamed and the snow diverged around him, leaving him unharmed. At first her parents thought it was her brother who ad done it, but it became clear it was her eventually. When it did so, her family told her about this school and said it was her choice.
