Amy reached her hand out to the large cat slowly, not wanting to upset it, and gently placed it on Ono's snout, rubbing it softly.

"You're hungry are you? Do you like seafood?" she asked it, reaching into her bag. "It might have a few bones, so you gotta gimme a sec if you want it." The little seasnake that had been perched on Amy's arm slithered down and onto her knee, standing up so it was at eye level with Ono. It licked the air and stared into Ono's eyes which were about as big as the snake's head. It was hard to tell what the snake was thinking because, well in general a snake's expressions are hard to read, a seasnake ever moreso.

"Be nice now you hear?" Amy said, lightly flicking the snake. 

  Sara took the next to last seat on her row, hoping that someone would come and sit beside her. She felt a little like the odd one out right now, what with the sisters and the budding lovers. She gave a rueful little sigh. Turning her dark eyes to the stage, she absorbed what the Ice Magi was saying and waited for an introduction for the other magi arranged on the stage.

  Sybil smiled at Salem brightly, listening raptly to his welcoming speech. The next speaker was Gwyidion, the fire mage. He was a tall and boad man, with a mane of golden hair and piercing blue eyes. His skin was tanned and he resembled a Highland warrior. His voice was deep and rumbling as he spoke. "Welcome, students! Welcome home. I am Gwyidion, the Magi of fire.  I am glad to see my new student there." He gave a graceful nod Sara'sway. "I am also in charge of security and self defense training here, which all of you will undergo."

  Next a small Asian woman stepp up to the mic, which had to be adjusted to her hight after Gwyidion. She had long straight hair and intelligent eyes. "Welcome everyone! I am Magi Kiandra. I am the Water Magi, as well as the basic sciences master. I will see you all very soon."

  Kiandra was followed by a slender man of medium hight. He had cocoa colored skin and dark eyes and hair in dreadlocks. He simply took the mic from the stand andbegan to speak. "I am Magi Wakanda. I control the wind, as well as your language and literature classes. Welcome to the College of Mages!"

  Next came a lovely Indian woman, with long wavy brown hair and expressive dark eyes. Her voice was incredably cultured as she spoke. "Welcome, my children. I am Katima, the Magi of Electricity. I will also instruct you in the maths. Please, be home here, and come to us if you have any issues at all."

  Sybil came back to the forefront now, speaking again. "Now, young ones, we will give you a short while to mingle while we finish making preperations for your dinner. Please, make friends with one another." So saying, she and all of the other mages left the stage and made their way out of the room.

Watching the girl Sara, Sydney watched how apart she was from the others in her group. He rose, moving to sit beside her with a flash of a grin. "Hey there, freshmeat- Oh, I mean, freshman." The playful ex
pression he wore softened the well-meant jab, and his chuckle was light and soft. "I'm Sidney. Electric mage-in-training."

  Sara looked up, suprised, when the boy addressed her. "Oh, hello." She giggled softly at the joke. "I'm Sarafina, Fire mage-in-training.You can call me Sara of Fi, though. It's nice to meet you!" Her smile was bright, lighting up her entire face, as she extended her hand.

Krov looked over at Sylvia "Well this is going to be fun huh? We're back where we belong?" He told her as he looked down at his feet as he tried to figure out what to say

Giving a small, hesitant laugh, Sylvia replied, ''Yeah, I guess... I'll miss my mom, though...'' She berated herself inwardly for admitting this to Krov, letting him know just how homesick she was already.

Amy smilied up at her new magi instructor and stood, bowing at the waist.

She raised her head slightly to address Kiandra. "Greetings Ms. Kiandra, it seems I shall be your student. My name is Amy Bleu de France and I am a water mage in-training. Pleased to make your aquaintence. And this" she said, pulling back her jacket. "Is my seasnake. It has no name and I am not aware of its gender, but it is quite friendly." As if to prove that statement, the snake nuzzled her arm and came out, licking the air and tasting hightened levels of power.

"And as of a few minutes ago," she began, pulling Ava over to her. "This is my twin sister."

Sylvia smiled to him, tryign to fill in the awkward silence that had come down. She normally wasn't this... talkative. ''Do you plan on getting a pet?'' She asked him finally. She had been wondering if she should get one, but wasn't really certain.
