Sidney was slow to board the ship, taking each step with precaution.  Never had he been on a boat before, so the experience was all new for him.  He glanced about for an empty seat, ending up settled towards the back of the vessel, alone.  It was destined to be a long and boring ride if he couldn't find a way to entertain himself.  Thankfully, Sid came prepared.  From his bag he pulled a handheld gaming system, powering it up to continue his adventure on the latest Pokidoos generation.  Being an electric mage, the device stayed fully charged with little effort.

Back at college, Salem had just finished polishing over the floors of the ice building.  Being one of the more experienced magi, he was to help welcome the new students when they arrived in the central building.  He made his way over there, waiting for the earth magi to meet him.

  Sara walked after the other two girls, looking at the ship excitedly. She noticed Krov and the other girl talking together and smiled. They looked so cute together! Sara bit back a giggle. Joining the other two girls, she nudged them to look in their direction. "Look, guys! Aren't they cute?" She really hoped they wouldn't think she was silly. Suddenly, everyone was jolted back in their seat and a voice came over the loudspeaker.

  "Everyone, please,  strap yourselves into your seats. The ship will be leaving the water now and begining our ascent. Once again, please strap yourselves into your seats." When the monotone female voice faded away, Sara sent the other two girls an excited look and pulled her seatbelt across her cheast. 

  "Here we go!"

Sylvias cheeks turned a light shade of crimson when hhe said that. ''I-uh...Thanks.'' She said, looking at him. Why was she such an idiot? She thought. At least he didn't get mad. He was probably looking for a way to get away from her, though. Wanting to change the subject, she asked, ''Can you, y'know... make tornados and stuff?'' She kicked herself mentally. Yeah, real smooth.

Amy had woken up a minute or two after the announcement of their departure. She turned around and looked over the end of the boat to see clouds. The seasnake was getting restless in her pocket, so she took him out and let him slither along her arms as she tried to literally make shapes out of clouds. Since they were made of water, she figured she should be able to control their shape, at least this close up. She managed to turn one into a simple drayk, and another into a milkshake, then one shaped like a dove. The second she lost her focus though, they clouds turned into liquid and fell as rain, since there was only ocean below there was no harm done, but Amy decided that she wouldn't make messing with the clouds a hobby unless someone actually wanted to get rained on.

She took out her special little purse and twisted the coral lock, back and forth. It was something her foster mother claimed had been made by her real mother. The purse was one of Amy's most prized possessions and she kept anything little that she felt she'd need in it. Since she'd lived in the city her whole life, whenever she got to go to the sea, she'd stock up on things she felt were useful, and store them in the purse. It was the one thing that she would not let her foster mother touch, save for her snake, whom wouldn't let itself be touched by the foster mother anyhow. Cradling it against her chest, the snake looked up from her arm, its round eyes questioning and concerned. Amy scratched under its neck with her nail and told it to be good. It seemed to regard the order as advice, and made itself at home as a necklace for the time being. Amy chuckled at its indifference and stared out at the sky, anxious to get a glimpse of their new home.

Krov looked at her and nodded "Yes, I can i done it a few times by accident." He told her as he leaned his head back

''Wow...'' Sylvia mumbled. She knew how that felt. She had once struck up a blizzard on a friend of hers accidentally. Leaning back, she decided to meditate. Fixing her gaze on a railing, she stared at it blankly, counting her breaths, lulling herself into a focused state.

[O_O lol, sorry I didn't notice Fruitcake XD writing a bit now but I have school so yeah.]

"Umm...." Amy thought, wracking her brain for a name or a landmark or SOMETHING. "I can't remember Ava, I'm so sorry. I think my foster mother mentioned it a few times but, I haven't heard the name for a while." She hung her head and her snake snuggled her neck, trying to comfort her. "What about you?" She said, looking up at Ava.

Sitting in that seat, Sylvia glanced around. She was bored, so decided to chill some of the water that had spilled on deck. She froze a puddle of ice, and riased it up with a flick of her wrist, so the ice was now in a ball, no mark to show the puddle had ever been there. She did that for a little while, until she had several icy spheres, then started juggling with them while they were a few feet away from her hands.
