((Yeah, but I just meant she had a little more than usual around her mouth, and when an animal has been running around a lot or something like that they tend to foam more. My dogs do that sometimes. I might edit it though so it doesn't sound like there's that much there >.<))

OOC: Heh, my Labrador foams when she's been fetching too much. My other dog is a borderline foamer when she begs for food. So much dribble.

((I know. My great dane mix is just... foamy. He's still a pup so he has a lot of energy, although that might come partly from the shepherd he's mixed with. He foams when he's been out running for a long time.))

[[Feyth, I don't mind if you make NPC's. My pack is rather small too. I can always make more characters. <3]]
Bhreac tried to smile, but it just ended up looking like a grimace. She half-limped half-walked over to where Kaloqis was guarding the carcass. She sniffed it, and nodded approval. "Good job, the both of you. We will have full stomachs tonight." With that, she looked up at the sky. It was nightfall already? It seemed that time went by so fast.

Kaloqis edged closer to the face of the deer. Its eyes, half-closed, had a soft trail of sleep slugging out of one eye. He smelt the saliva on its mouth.
Usually it was the alphas who would eat first, as they were the parents and often worked hardest. They'd start the frenzy, have their share, then move away and let the rest tuck in. Unless they were too tired after the hunt to feed instantly, needing to catch their breath, or...
He looked at Bhreac, her form dismayed with hurt, sagging in places, strained, aching. Kaloqis doubted she could muster the strength to break through the buck's hide. Wolf jaws had crushing strength, yes, but what about an injured she-wolf trying to tear through a young, stringy deer's thick winter fur?
But before he could ask permission he heard a gurgling growl and whipped round. Osera was mauling away at the stag's stomach with furious vigour. She steadied her coiled back with her blunt forepaws pressed against the corpse. Nibbled with her front teeth. Spat out clumps of hair with wrinkled lips. Her claws didn't do so much as leave a mark. What concerned Kaloqis was her hackles, threatening to bristle into a fierce mane. Was... was she really implying her claim on it?
Kaloqis battered her away crossly. "Alphas first," he snapped. She slunk away with guilty ears, then sneezed. No doubt she'd gotten some fur up her pesky nose.
Kaloqis turned to Bhreac. "If you think you can manage it, you tear it open. But either way, we'd let you feed before us."

((Alright, Kyric is on his way :) ))
Kyric darted around trees and other small shrubs that came across his path. He could smell the sweet scent of the meadows near Vermont's camp, and his paws were itching to feel the soft grass again. His nose twitched as the pollen in the air began to thicken slightly.
Kyric burst into camp, not breaking stride. Foam had collected around his own mouth from his his mile or so run from the coyote. His head whipped from side to side, looking for Alara. However the landscape blurred as he rushed by, and eventually he realized he needed to slow down if he were to spot anything. Immediately he slowed to a quick, although not very efficient stop, as he skidded for a couple feet.
Now to find his Alpha.

Alara sniffed the air, trying to get passed the smell of blood and death. "Kyric!! In here!" Alara called, hoping the other wolf would hear her. Just in case he didn't, Aika went out to find his friend. "Kyric, something's happened, come quickly"

Bhreac nodded. With great strength and strain, Bhreac dug her claws into the deep flesh of the deer and tore at it with her teeth. It opened rather easily and she fed on it for a while. She didn't eat much, for that kick must have done something to her head. She couldn't think straight, which only made everything seem even more confusing. Maybe some sleep will help me. I'll go to sleep as soon as we get back. She stopped feeding for a second and perked her ears. She lifted her head, and listened. She had heard a howl, and a few barks earlier, but she wasn't exactly sure if it was a hallucination or not. But She could have sworn she heard something. She sniffed in the cold air. She smelled the very faint scent of wolves and blood. It wasn't on her territory though, so she wasn't worried. She simply dissmissed it as a threat by signalling Kaloqis and Osera to eat. She stopped eating after a few more minutes. She felt a bit better, but her head, front legs and chest throbbed and she wasn't sure if she was seeing everything correctly. She looked up at the sky, full of bright stars. She let out a tired sigh and forced herself from resting her head on her paws.
Sek rushed back to camp. He had made no effort to hide the carcass and had began to make his way back to camp. He skidded into the clearing, and nearly tripped over himself trying to stop. He saw Kyric and Alara. They looked unharmed. But why did he smell blood?

The pair waited patiently, albeit hungrily, for Bhreac to finish feeding. Kaloqis regained his breath a few feet away, lying in the broken grass, watching with his paws crossed. Osera sat between him and Bhreac. She'd spare a few seconds to gaze at Kaloqis and then her surroundings, as if at ease, before rearranging her priorities and scrutinising the kill again, watching the alpha closely.
A few Vermont howls bit into the purple air, scattered with vicious barks. Kaloqis observed thoughtfully, "That sounds fierce."
By the time the sky was a sweeping sea of indigo muddying into orange at the crest of the sinking sun, Bhreac seemed finished. They politely allowed her to set herself down nearby before closing in on the buck for the final time that day. Osera ripped at everything, so... alive with hunger Kaloqis kept well away from her. Occasionally she wrinkled her face in warning if he got too close to whatever she was helping herself to, but it was never anything that would prompt him into retaliating.
Heavy with his meal, he licked his jowls and his paws clean, but he couldn't wipe away the rest of the blood on his face, the mask he'd made in the innards of the buck. He simply lay and watched Osera make a toy of the kill's head, jumping delightedly about. Like a pup again.
Kaloqis could sleep out here tonight. He would be happy to. But chill of late winter was beginning to reach into his fur with icy tongues. Osera, tired of her game, approached him and curled up so close beside him Kaloqis swayed to adjust his paws. Her eyes, flashing green in the night, looked up at him.
"Bhreac," Kaloqis began. "Shall we sleep here? We could find a copse, burrow in some leaves. Somewhere where the trees could shelter us from the wind."
"I wonder if it snows tonight," Osera mumbled distractedly.

[[I don't mind if your busy. :3 I've got some tests coming up, including one on algebra. D: //hates math]] "I say we can go into a place where the trees are a bit more lush. It will shelter us from the wind." She looked up at the sky, it was clear, but she could see a few clouds far away. "I hope it doesn't snow. The prey just came out." She stood up shakily, her limbs shaking as if she had just went swimming. I hate swimming. She thought. It scared her. If wolves were meant to swim, they'd grow fins like the fish. She shook her head at the thought. "We should take the kill with us. Hopefully it won't be infested with maggots when we want to eat from it again." With a quick glance around, she saw a rather large hill, covered with trees. "Why don't we go over there?" she barked.

"Maggots?" Kaloqis echoed. He continued; strengthened his tone, made it friendlier. "Maggots won't last long in this weather. The cold will slow, if not prevent, any severe decay. It's coyotes and our own kind we mustn't trust. Ah, this buck will grow stringy and hard, but it'll last a few days if snow does arrive, or the temperature remains this low."
He lifted his snout and smelt the air. The sky was strung with the chill of late winter, but not crisp with the sharpness of a fermenting storm, nor did the moon wear the hazy white circle She bore the night before a blizzard. Osera wouldn't have her snow tonight.
She tilted her head aside, coiled her tail a little, trembled its tip. "I'm sorry but I'm a little tired... I don't think I could drag it far."
"I'll hide it somewhere," Kaloqis said. "You can go with Bhreac to find a place good enough to rest in overnight."

Kyric stared at Aika, startled. What could have happened so suddenly? A little ways away he could here Alara's call. "What happened?" he asked as he whisked by the other wolf. He latched onto Alara's fading voice and began to follow it. He stumbled slightly over a small rock, but caught himself and followed the momentum until he had set into a brisk jog, now following Alara's scent trail.
((Sorry it's so short. I might not be posting that often guys, as I have a lot of school work to deal with and I'm sick with a really bad cold/cough combination, but I'll post whenever I can.))

Bhreac didn't protest. She tilted her head back to the hill, and started off in a slow pace.
