Stephanie fiddled with her mask, feeling the detailed lace and picking at the rhinestones. She set her mask down gently next to her before she began fiddling with her hair. Pulling her hair ties out, she let out a sigh in annoyance. She combed through her hair with her fingers, beginning to daydream. Before she was aware of it, she had fallen asleep.
"And you better not do that again!" Ma began to walk over to the closet to grab the belt. "Where are you going!? You are not going anywhere!" she screamed. "I'm leaving." She gave the death stare. "Then go and---" "What?" Stephanie put her head in her hands and blinked rapidly. "The same dream. Again." she muttered to herself. "For God's sake, why can't I just get over that?!" she said darkly. Grabbing the mask, she stood up and set it down again. Just stay here. What else to you want to do anyway? She began to fiddle with her mask again until she became aware of classical music playing faintly. "I've never been more bored in my life." she whispered to nobody in paticular. "Even on the streets. I had something to do. Whether it was running from stray dogs, angry diner owners, or just trying to get something eat, I always had something to do. Not preforming, I should be doing something to keep me occupied. And what am I doing? Nothing. Absolutely nothing."
Finally getting up, she shoved her mask in her pocket and decided to go practice her trapeze routine.

“Come on Jay. While that might be what you do best, ya gotta figure out the more finesse extremes of ticket selling,” a silver-haired male told his crimson-haired colleague. Though, the latter male looked extremely bored as he crouched on the wooden barrel placed outside their shared RV [[ Or would it be wagon? o3o ]], swirling golden eyes on the male before him.
“What’s so finesse about ticket selling, Ax?” the male nicknamed Jay asked. “Ya just gotta sell it. Gets us money and helps run the Cirq.”
The male nicknamed Ax made a face before running his pure white digits through his silvery hair. No, he wasn’t albino. But he was pretty damn close because of his white skin and silver hair. The only think that was missing was crimson eyes, but Axis had pure white eyes. So white, that there was really no distinction between the iris and the sclera. And his pupils were a very thin slit of light gray.
Made him look almost blind.
“Alright then Jace. Show me how you do it,” Axis challenged.
Jace scowled, rubbing his chin with a free hand. And in a bl ink of an eye, he was crouched in his demonic form. Crimson-tinted shadows rolling off his talons before he hopped to the ground and standing at his full six foot ten inches. Reaching behind him, he snatched up the extra ticket they usually kept with them off the lip of the barrel and fanned his face with it; golden eyes blinking dramatically. Axis snorted a laugh, fangs reflecting the sunlight. Jace just smirked.
Shaking his head, Axis moved his hands. Summoning forth the shadows he controlled. They formed a roughly-average human person with indistinguishable gender. But it was human-ish... Even if the human-shadow had a gray tint to them.
Jace unfurled his wings, letting the crimson plumage reflect the sunlight before he half-furled them back up. His tail swayed over the ground before flicking up, tail arcing over itself as the gently curved spade flexed. His own shadows swirled around the ticket he held in his claws before it vanished with them. Rolling his shoulders, he stalked forward with the grace of a predator, slowly circling around the gray-black shadow human mass.
“So… I’ve guess you’ve seen the oh-so-lovely Cheshire, hm? Decided to check out the rest of our little circus?” Jace paused, both in his little monologue and in his circling. Standing straight as a pole, he furling his wings tightly against his back and lashed out his tail.
“Dude. I can’t think at the moment,” Jace grumbled.
Axis heard this and roared with laughter, arms around his middle as he doubled over laughing. Jace turned and gave him a cold, golden eyed glare. To which the other half-demon returned as he also shapechanged into his demonic form. After a few more moments, the shadow-person faded away at the two charged at each other. Snarling playfully as they wrestled and fought.
Since the two were always near the rear of the circus where they couldn’t exactly hurt anything if they happened to tussle, they wouldn’t break anything of relative importance.

Leanna looked at Maree, still scared and hurt, but hiding it well. "I-I-I-I'm sorry." She grabbed her bag, and ran off, barely concealing her face, which was now dripping with tears. It wasn't her fault that she was a klutz, a dork, or what some people would call a total freak. Stop it, you are not a freak, no matter what these people think She wiped her face, and found what she was looking for: the lion pen. Without anyone noticing, she did a quick magic spell that would reverse the poor, sweet cat's injury, but Georgico almost saw her when he looked behind him. She was sure he would try to bite her arm off if she was seen, so she quickly jumped behind a nearby tent post. Leanna had no doubt it had worked, though, that had been quite the surprised face the lion had put on.
That's better. Now I can get ready without freaking out about whether a fairy will be eaten during the show. She smiled, knowing that she had resolved the problem she had caused. Nothing was going to ruin her day, and no fairy, lion, or squirrel could make her show look bad.

((Okay so I decided to just post my intro without editing. XD))
Cassiel sighed softly, hugging his overcoat tightly around him as he wandered about the circus, head lowered slightly. He was searching for something to do, especially since he didn't exactly have any sort of act to perform, and he was having a very hard time of doing just that. He frowned, turning his head slightly in different directions before sighing and shaking his head, seeming slightly put-out by it all. He was hopelessly bored and desperately needed something, anything to do.
It was then that he seemed to almost perk up, hearing the sounds of fighting coming from near where he was currently. He tilted his head slightly before he wandered towards the sounds, watching the strange shapes as they moved about his field of aura-vision.
What on earth were they doing? He furrowed his brows, frowning slightly once again. Was it really fighting? He couldn't be sure; there was too much movement for it to be very clear. He crossed one of his arms across his abdomen, fingers resting lightly on the opposite hip. If they were really fighting, he'd have to let Darius know right? He shook his head again before he sighed and turned around to wander off once again, hoping to find something, anything, to take up his time until the next show.

((Alright then, I guess I'll just go into Chesire's little "Come here and watch" thing... And just a heads-up. I started school so I have no clue as to weather or not I'll be on every day... I don't own those italicizes parts... That is a song.. He isn't singing though.))
Just outside the Cirq tent and the fence that bordered their area for the day or week, he could never really remember how long they stayed in one area, there were people walking by and some stopping to gaze at the massive tent that hadn't been there the day before. The day was still young, giving the Cirq time to perfect, not that many needed it, their acts before the show began. But, what's a show without an audience? And this was why he was standing there, leaning against the fence gently even though he was sure he couldn't knock it over anyways. He gazed at the people that walked by, his top hat just barely concealing his eyes behind the rim. He noticed children would stare the most, begging their parents to let them go in, even if they didn't know what it was. Though many have seena circus tent before.
He adjusted his gloves and straightened out his shirt and vest before he pushed off the gate and took a few steps forward. He smiled at the little children who stood there, wanting to see what this man was going to do. He bowed to them, his hat falling off his head before he caught it expertly by the rim. He turned his dual colored eyes to the streets. He stood straight and rooms deep breath in, needing to project his voice as best he can.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls, step right up! Behind this curtain lies a ghastly concoction of delight, horror, fantasy and terror!"
He emphasized the words by randomly pulling a skull from his hat and then duping out a small skeleton dressed just as he was. He looked T the parents who seemed to be shocked and the kids who wanted to know how he managed that. He rolled the skull in his hands and smiled at the people, he turned away for about a fraction of a second before facing them and the skull had become a few doves that flew off.
"your every wish is our command, your every whimsical desire brought to life.mladies and gentlemen WELCOME TO THE GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH!!"
At that moment, a dozen or so crows flew out from his top hat and flew away, leaving some people to just stare in awe and other to simply stare with gasping expressions. He smiled at them and the children. His dual colors eyes merely watching the audience that gathered.
"Don't fear this place, no harm will come to you. There is no reason to have to deny these children the show of a lifetime, maybe only once will we be here. We may be gone in the bl ink of an eye, leaving you to wonder if we were even here at all. " As if to emphasize that fact, he disappeared and people stared at the place he was. He saw atop the gate gently, holding a stuffed animal before he gave them a laugh that could be either half mad or just excitement. The animal in his lap started dancing, no strings attached.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, don't miss out on this opportu ity! There are many more acts. A knife thrower and trapeze artist. Not just ordinary either" He hopped off the fence but the animal remained, dancing still. "Step right up, step right up! The show you're about to see will leave you gasping and crying, laughing and screaming. Wanting more. It's like a horror movie, you want to look awaybut you just can't. Continue to stare and gaze and watch these people perform stunts you wouldn't dream of attempting! Ladies and Gentlmen, children of all ages! Don't just settle for my little tricks and magic, enter the tent and buy a ticket. See the show that will blow your mind!"

Ooc; Ser, if it's anyone's fault, it's mine. I threw up Secrets' intro first without waiting and I'm sorry. They just followed after me so I'll take full blame for this. :X
Here's a summary for you to help. I owe you that much. Secrets is currently practicing with her knives (Was waiting on you to post with Hunted). Leanna started the post with practicing her magic, then Maree stalked over to her to holler at her for stepping on a lion's tail earlier and almost getting Maree eaten. Leanna ran off crying to fix the problem, which would be to fix the lion's tail.
Ax and Jace are in some sort of play-scuffle and Cassiel is just walking around looking for something to do. I dunno what Chesire's doing. To be honest, I forgot to read the post. -skims through now- Oh, he's attracting people.
I think that's everyone and all that's happened. Dx

((Alright. When I came home last night, or technically this morning, I started reading the posts, but I fell asleep. So I just got back from baby sitting, so I'm posting two of my intros. Ill get the other two up later XP))
*~~~***~~~*
His blue eyes scanned the papers on his desk anxiously. This wasn't good, not at all. Furrowing his eyebrows, he closed his eyes and took a deep breath. Time were changing, and people were leaving all the time. They had lost the dragon tamer a few years ago, was it even a few years? It might have been a century or two, he'd been around so long, the lines of time were blurred in his mind.
Rubbing at his temples, he frowned as he scanned the papers again. They only had two real unicorns left, but they were not thriving as they once had. Kid enjoyed the creature, but teenagers were just horrible. Thinking themselves above everything, harassing the animals, insisting that they were just horses with fake horns. It hurt the creatures feelings, and that lead to the unicorns not believing in themselves. Which didn't end well for Darius.
Running a hand through his hair, he pulled out his pocket watch and checked the time; causing him to frown even more. A squawk made him look up, around his tent. His phoenix was sitting in its cage, sticking its beak through the bars, trying to bite at a fly buzzing around. Smiling slightly, he forgot his troubles as he watched his bird finally catch the darn thing. Looking back down at the papers on his desk, he ran his tongue over his lips. This wasn't going to work, the new recruits were utterly useless, being able to only do simple jobs like running the food stands and rides.
This used to be his vision. This cirque was his. People used to be enjoy the Victorian feel, the young and the old would gather and the magic seemed real to them. The magic was real, but people would believe what the wanted. There used to be a dragon, a unicorn, the strong man was an ogre. But now, people thought they were just cheap tricks. "What am I going to do?" he muttered to himself, examining the papers once more.
"Mr. Grey?" came a female voice from the opening of his tent.
*~~~***~~~*
He looked up at her for a moment, startled, before turning his attention back down to the desk in the center of his office. She entered, casting a glance around the room, always amazed her because it looked nothing like a tent. Furnished with Victorian chairs, shelves, cabinets with a large oak desk was in the center of the room. It looked like something from a history textbook, give or take a few oddities. The tent looked nothing like a tent. The air smelt of incense and was thick with the cinnamony smell of magic. The phoenix eyed her the way it always did, and a monkey with little white wings screeched at her from atop an antique shelf.
Clearing her throat awkwardly, she looked down at her boss. "We're opening in a hour." Joey said as if it wasn't obvious enough to to the Circus Master who was rubbing his temples and staring down at the contracts on his desk. Raising an eyebrow, she leaned her body against his desk. Her black jeans stopping the bite of the wood into her flesh. "Darius, is there a problem?" She sighed, sitting herself down on the seat infront of the man desk. It was times like this that his age really showed. He was probably in his late thirties when he joined up, but he looked like he was in his twenties. The way he dressed it looked as if he stepped out of a fashion magazine. Wavy brown hair, deep blue eyes, dusting of a five o'clock shadow on his cheeks. It was no wonder, that every girl, and a few guys were vying for her job.
"Joaquin." He sighed, he was the only one that called her by her real name. Pushing the papers towards her, she looked them over. They were more contracts. "So whats up, too much to handle?" He shook his head, though she already knew the answer. There were always uses for people here. "We lost some a few town ago. I only noticed their absences recently."
She knew what that meant. Looking over the dates, many of these people would have died years ago, and a few were new ones who had no doubt fallen in love as the story goes. "Look, there's a simple way to handle this." she said getting up and walking over to the fireplace. Tossing the papers in, her boss cringed. "Easy as that Mr. Grey, somewhere out there, a man is screaming in pain. As his lover watches horrified. People know the stakes, and considering they didn't go through the formal process of apply for leave, it serves them right."
Darius Grey raised an eyebrow as he watched his assistant. Soon the tired look was gone and was replaced by his usual charming smile that made the women swoon. "It amazes me that you you've only been here a few years yet you've already gotten the hang of things." He chuckled slightly, before shaking his head. He sensed something was off. "Now go make sure the others are doing what they're supposed too." He voice was strained, he was trying to sound nonchalant, but she knew something was up.
She nodded, and pulled up the sleeves of her leather jacket. "Alright. You just make sure you put on a nice suit and get on your game face." She winked at him once before heading outside of the man's tent. The gates would be open soon and she still had to check that everything was in order, and make sure no idiot was drawing attention. It was Darius' vision that the circus appeared dead and empty until the gates opened.

Hunted
Hunted tugged at the collar of his shirt, black leather jacket rubbing up against his neck. He put his hands down and out to his sides as he walked along the outskirts of where the Cirque was set up. Without its flashy lights (and the fire that shot in the air that was his doing), it looked deserted and downright scary. Something out of a horror movie, he figured. He scratched at the back of his head. God damn it, why was he so fidgety?
It was like this when he was feeling stressed, like he had to keep himself moving or he'd snap. And snapping would not be good, at least not for the people in his near vicinity. His red eyes flashed as memories trickled through him; houses crumbling to the ground, people screaming, his own mother and father looking down at him in horror. He shook his head. Hunted had a job to do and even if he didn't like the people he worked with, or people in general, he was damn well going to get it done.
Enough of his silent brooding for now. The kid trekked back toward the tent. The whinnies of the unicorns could be heard far off. Maybe it was his ears, but they certainly didn't seem excited about the show tonight. "Place sucks," he muttered under his breath. Things were more dead than alive, really. No one believed in magic and the entire cirque was a joke.
"Maybe if we got out of the friggin' nineteenth century and took a turn into the modern world, things wouldn't be so bad." He scowled. Their ringmaster and runner of the Cirque was old fashioned, and an oldie himself. Of course, Hunted didn't know the man's real age but he was pretty damn sure the guy wasn't really in his twenties.
"'Ey Joey," Hunted said and lifted a hand when he saw her walk out of the big man himself's tent. "You want me to start the fireworks?" he asked, closing all fingers but his pointer. A small little flame danced above the skin, licking at his fingernail. He raised a brow. "Heard one of the lions in a fit earlier, by the way. That one elf girl was crying," he said. Like he could be bothered to remember names.
