Suddenly, the sail rose as the crew on Firefly get ready. It took off, everyone hanging off of the side.

kris smelled the waves one last time. Then, she remembered the feeling she had when she almost died. it had felt clming. this freaked her out. creepy, she thought.

Jake tacked the boat, and Chris and the other people tired to pull the sails in. It was getting really windy. SolarSun was pulling out, with Charlie at the bow.

Lucy tacked the boat towards FireFly. Jake picked up the radio, and handed it to Chris. "Your the radio keeper. You keep track of getting us checked in and all." Jake said. Chris checked them in.

The races countdown started, and then tradgety struck. Solaursun's sail wrapped around itself. There was alot of shouting going on over there now too.

Someone was climbing up the mast, and now Charlie was steering. Then Jake really freaked out. It was Lucy on the mast. Everyone was freaking out.

Chris's mouth dropped. Suddenly, the sail was free, and then wrapped around the other way, around Lucy. Now there really was a ton of screaming. "Kris, take the tiller. I need to go over there." Jake said.
