Kris did as she was told, watching Lucy. "Lucy! Lucy!" was all she could say. She was in the first state of shock she had been in since her mom died.

Jake dove into the water, and was soon on SolarSun. Lucy was now hanging by her feet from the mainsail, about 10 feet in the air, screaming her head off.
Who needs movies, when we can just go out and live life?

Kris was paralyzed from fear. fear of loosing Lucy, and in turn all of her friends. She felt powerless, just as she did with her mother. just as she did with charlie. just as she felt with herself. What was with fate? Was it trying to ruin everything? Was it trying to take away everyone she cared about?

Jake was now climbing up the mast too, and was a few feet from Lucy. He pulled a switchblade out of his pocket. He was attempting to cut the rope Lucy was tangled in. He got kicked in the head a few times, adding to his already bad headache. He finally got her free, and then, still clinging to the pole, threw Lucy onto his back, who had calmed down now. The world had turned kind of purple now. He scaled down, and then someone took Lucy. He said a few things, and then dove back off into the water. He shook his head, trying to stop himself from getting to dizzy. One of the teachers was worried, because he wasn't looking too good.
Who needs movies, when we can just go out and live life?

kris was semi-calmed down. now, Jake didn't look good. he looked like he would p*censored* out any minute, but she couldn't leave now. Powerless, again, she thought, feeling tears in her eyes.

Jake was pulled onto the boat. He talked to some of the crew, and he would just be a sails person for today. He was really not looking to good, but he pushed that to the side. The race began, but nothing was going right. As if things couldn't get worse, SolarSun broached. It flipped over, and everyone worked on righting it. Finally it came up, but it brought water with it. "Well, this is a great day." Chris mumbled.

Soon the race was over. As usual, FireFly had won. SolarSun came in last though. Jake was looking worse by the minute. Chris was trying to watch him...

As FireFly came in, a bunch of people literally pounced on the boat, trying to make sure everyone was ok. Jake literally ran to SolarSun, where a very destribed Lucy was.

Kris ran to Lucy as fast as she could go. It was as if the world turned in slow motion, but she was in fact, running at almost a super-human pace.

Lucy was shaking, and the rest of the crew was nervous as well. "Lucy, are you ok?" Jake asked. Lucy nodded. "That sail is evil." She said, trying to laugh.

"Yeah. SolarSun is gonna have to be taken out of the water for a week though, because its so watered down." Lucy said sadly. "Its ok. We have broached in FireFly before." Jake said. "But not like that. We had a spinacher up. It filled with water, so when the boat came back up, it brought up a lot of water. Our guess is at least 50 pounds. Mold strikes fast too." Lucy sighed.
