((in a tree crying)) Jake decided to run up and down the dock trying to find him. Lucy went to alert a teacher that he was missing. Charlie went onto FireFly to make sure he wasn't there. Zane saw Chris, but once he saw his face, he decided to keep it a secret.
Who needs movies, when we can just go out and live life?

Kris came out of the water, and looked around. She saw Chris, and felt a wave of relief. He was safe. Good. She decided not to reveal his location, though. She knew how that felt.... she tried to think of a distraction

Chris was crying because being out on the boat made him feel awful. He should have been sailing with his dad, shouldn't have shut him out. He shuddered.... Jake saw Chris too, and bit his bottom lip. "We should just give him some time. His dad only died 4 months ago." Jake said. Charlie and Lucy nodded.

Kris's head hung low. She knew Chris still had a reason to grieve, she didn't. She hated that she still felt for her mom. She hated her step and she hated how her dad had betrayed her.

Charlie was also towards the back of the small group. "It's ok Kris. I know how you feel too. When I was little, my mother left me and my father. She said she loved us, but she left us for another man. I was 3...And it was really hard. My fahter then gave up on life, and the court decided it wasn't good for me to live with him. They sent me off to my grandma, who was mean and bitter. I had always dreamed of making it out of there. I saved up my money, and 2 years ago, I moved here." Charlie sighed.

"My dad stabbed my Mom when I was 7. He then remarried and became a drunk. And I watched it all happen," she said, unblinkingly. "I guess you had it harder though," she said.

Charlie nodded. The mess hall was very crowded. Several people walked up to Lucy to make sure she was ok. Jake's head ache kept on getting worse.
