Sharpclaw shook her head, nudging Featherpaw in the direction of Deathclan territory.  "No.  You must go."  She said, "You must think of the future, not the present, although it may be good for us both to run, Frostclan want blood, they will kill at least once today.  Since you are slower, you could be first.  I'll never live with myself if you die, but you can live your life if I die.  Please, do me one last favor."  ((;w; So touching.)) 

Winterstar sneered at the kit.  "Move aside quirt, before I postpone your appenticeship until you are 20 moons old."  He moved the kit out of his way and continued going after the mutants.

 (But it doesn't mean you have to kill Sharpclaw... :'( 

If you don't kill her then I won't kill Featherpaw. :P )

Featherpaw had tears in her eyes. "No! I want you to live! FrostClan will not have blood today!" she said.  "Nightstar, get her back to camp!"

Hawkkit didn't want to be postponed.. Sadly, he slunk away into the brush to watch the devastating horror.

Nightstar nearly swatted at featherpaw. "How dare you disobey my orders!" She snarled. "Go now! I will handle this." She returned her gaze to Winterstar. "If its a battle you want, its a battle you'll get," She hissed, lighting her fangs.

"I want my mentor to live!" Featherpaw protested.  She started to attempt to drag Sharpclaw back... Her energy was wasted by the time she was almost to the border.  Her mentor was HEAVY.

Featherpaw grabbed her mentor again and tried to drag her to camp.  She couldn't help but think she'd made many enemies today.. Including her leader, perhaps..

Hawkkit scrambled back to camp.  "Winterstar's mean... He pushed me aside when I told him to stop and threatened to postpone my apprenticeship 'till I was 20 moons!" he told Pinkwhisper.

((Aw come on you gais.  8c  Your like.. controlling my character.  Come on.  Let her do what she needs to do.  ;c)) 

Wolfsong's fur stood on end, every muscle in his body tensed and ready for battle. "NightStar, you speak as if WE caused this. YOUR clan intruded. FrostClan is simply defending our territory. Listen to the winged mutant and leave!" Really frustrated by the arrogance of the leader his judgement so clouded by anger that he didnt even notice that his werecat speed, keen senses, and strength had set in. He  waited impatiently for his leader to spring at initiate the attack.

(Aww... Ribunneh... I wanted to saavve herrr. D: )

(( Nightstar can't just sit there while her warrior dies. D; She had to do something. ))

Nightstar let go off sharpclaw and boldly stepped over to FrostClan territory. "No, winterstar, its YOUR fault. If you weren't born, NONE OF THIS WOULD OF HAPPENED," She yowled. "Mutant? You're no better than us. We may look ugly on the outsitde, but you're ungly on the inside,"

Featherpaw finally got to the camp and set Sharpclaw by her brother.  "Make sure she doesn't go anywhere!" she told Sharptooth.

Hawkkit laid down by Pinkwhisper and snuggled into her fur.  He closed his eyes, tired.  Hawkkit yawned a tiny kit-yawn.

(Awww.. Now isn't that cute? :3 )

((I know.  <3  But Sharpclaw will die an honorable death, and be known as one of the bravest warriors.

..Plus Sharptooth will get depressed big time and that would be a cool sub-plot. 8D

AND Sharpclaw could possibly appear in dreams and stuff.  o3o  As like.. a spiritual guide for Featherpaw.  <3))

"Nightstar.  Featherpaw.  I know you want to help and fight."  She said, "But we can't give up any more then we need to.  Nightstar, I'm not sure how many lives you have, but I'm sure they are running low, and we shouldn't waste them, and Featherpaw."  Her voice choked a little, "You still have a life to live."

Winterstar tensed his muscles.  He was waiting for just the right moment to strike.  First, he would go for the apprentice, she would die quickly, then for Nightstar, he could strike a few lives out of her..

Pinkwhisper sighed.  "I thought something like this would happen.  Don't worry, he wont postpone it, but you can't do something like that.  In the heat of the moment Winterstar can be.. dangerous."  She smiled as Hawkkit curled against her, and curled her tail around him.  "Sleep little one, all will be fine when you wake."

((EDIT- Seriously?  Stop.  Controlling.  My.  Character.  It's against the rules.))

Hawkkit was close to falling asleep... And he did.  He purred for a moment, then was deeply snoozing.  Pinkwhisper was soft...
