Erin ducked slightly to the side as she felt a soft rush of wind. She exhaled; it was only a Beautifly, pa.ssing overhead. Her instincts and habits kept her alive; unfortunately, they had a tendency to overreact.
She continued walking. She knew they were near her home village; she'd walked by the sign a few minutes ago. It was a sunny day, and the streets were nearly empty. As she walked, quickly but lightly, she felt the earth gradually get softer beneath her bare feet, and turned sharply to the left. There was probably some sort of cliff or ravine; the earth usually got looser where the land broke off.
She paused when she smelled Pokémon food, and the scent of feathers. A few steps later she could feel one in between her toes. Pokémon trainer? She wondered silently, blind eyes staring to where the smell of food was strongest.
She felt something brush past her leg- it was her Vaporeon. He seemed calm but his fur bristled slightly, and his muscles were a bit tense. Her sightless gaze flicked towards him briefly. Trainer it is. She turned her eyes back to Kevi, holding out her arm towards her Vaporeon. He clambered up her arm and curled around her neck, watching Kevi's Pokémon warily.
Erin smiled. The trainer- whoever it was- wasn't dangerous, judging from her Pokémon's behavior. "Thank you." She whispered to him, then adressed Kevi. "I'm Erin." She said, walking up to her. She stopped when she felt the stone floor that the bench rested on, and held out her hand. "You're a Pokémon trainer, right? I am too, maybe we could have a battle." She blinked. "I don't have any Pokémon that are effective against bird types, so you wouldn't be at a disadvantage or anything."

Rika looked up, pausing mid-step to look up as a Beautifly pas-sed overhead, blinking her greenish eyes once before smiling and looking over at her Lucario, who had paused as well. He looked over at her and smiled a little himself. Rulan was the only Pokemon that Rika had that traveled outside of his Pokeball, since the other two seemed to like it in their Pokeballs. Rulan preferred being outside of those little spheres, glad to be able to remain his Trainer's side. After a moment of thought, Rika pas-sed up th oppurtunity to go after the Beautifly, instead heading towards the little village ahead. She grabbed hold of one of Rulan's paws and led him along behind her as she walked, feeling much more comfortable in this new place with her faithful Lucario at her side. Rulan stopped suddenly, his ears perked up. He looked to Rika, transmitting what he heard to her through their aura connection. Rika grinned at him, then reached to grab Dawne's Pokeball and look at it. "Well, Dawne, it looks like you may get to evolve soon," she said before heading off, now being led by her Lucario. ((C:))

Felan watched as two of his pokemon, a marshstomp and a pikachu, chased each other around. He was sitting on a bench not to far from where Kevi was sitting. His arcanine, Lucian, was watching a Beautifly p*censored* by, giving a little bark as it did. Jakiro made a "Marshstomp" sound at Lucian but the arcanine just made a not caring bark in reply and sat down at Felan's feet. Felan rested his hand on the arcanine's head, scratching the back of his ear with his finger. "What do you say we look for someone to battle later?" Felan asked the arcanine. Lucian nodded in agreement. Accalia ran away from Jakiro then jumped onto Felan's lap, saying, "Pika pikachu" at the marshstomp.

((They do. c: They evolve under those two circumstances. Either they come into contact with Darkrai at any level, or they reach level 23. c: In order for Dawne to evolve again, she will have to reach level 50 or higher at the top of Mount Moon. I might make another form for the Tirak to evolve into if they don't go to Mount Moon. P:)) |

Angel was training her pokemon in a field. " Star! Use ThunderBolt!" She called. Star's eyes glowed as she used the move. Kalia growled. " Kalia! Use Pyschic!" she yelled. Kalia used the moves, damaging Star regularly.

Erin blinked with faint surprise. I wonder why the girl reacted so strongly. She thought. Being blind had never bothered her; she'd been born without the ability to see, and some people thought her to be disabled. However, she found other ways to survive. She listened, felt, smelled, sensed, and waited. Her lack of vision simply made her other senses more acute.
"I told you, my name's Erin." She said, tilting her head slightly. "I'm from the town next to this one. This is my Vaporeon, Aoi." She smiled as he hissed from his place around her neck. "Thank you, Aoi." She said quietly, then turned back to Kevi. "He doesn't like you." She said simply. "I wonder why? He only acts like this towards people who have done bad things."
She smirked, remembering the time she'd stolen her Absol's egg from the Day Care. Aoi had been furious with her for weeks.
"Anyways." She continued, shifting her weight and 'staring' at Kevi- at least, in the direction she was. "Are you going to accept my challenge?"

"I have done alot of bad things." snapped Kevi, crossing her arms. "And I couldn't care less if your vaporeon likes me or not. I have my own pokemon to worry about." Kevi pondered Erin for a moment. "Fine. We'll battle." she said finally. She took out a pokeball and smiled. "Valarie!" she said, tossing the pokeball into the air and releasing her staraptor, her first, and favorite pokemon. Valarie landed on the ground, her wings folded tightly against her back as she let out a soft coo. |

Felan hadn't noticed that Kevi had released a pokemon until Lucian made a bark that sounded like he was saying "nine". Felan turned his head and saw two trainers, the one with the bird pokemon and another with a vaporeon on her shoulder. "Are they going to have a battle?" He wondered, turning back to look at Jakiro who was seated under a tree, watching a wurmple crawl on a branch above him.

Angel sighed, then she spotted an Eevee. She quietly returned the other pokemon and grabbed another pokeball. " Aroki! Go!" she called, watching the Charizard pop out. " Use Flamethrower!" Angel told the Charizard. Aroki breathed deeply, then released the fire.
