8:30
Lanz's alarm clock bleeped, stopping only when she slapped it with her hand. Two stark green eyes opened, laced over with haze of sleepiness. "Nmm.." She mumbled, rubbing a face that felt num from sleeping face first on it all night.
For a start she got up off her bed and stretched, slumping down and coming to her normal wits. Her optics glanced over at the clock, reading 8:34 in vibrant green lettering. "Crap, I'm gonna be late!" She loudly spoke, racing out of the bedroom and nearly flying down the stairs.
// Imagine she's ready, now. ;p //
Lanz raced down the sidewalk on foot, cursing under her breath that her bike was still in the shop being worked on. She hoped whoever vandalized it would trip on a boardwalk and fall in the ocean. Moving over from her rather unnecessary thoughts, she wrapped her arms tighter around herself. She didn't quite want to bring her large white winter coat, more or less something lighter. On a hope and a prayer not to be much more late, she snatched down the thin jacket that was grey. It was enough, knowing that she wore a grey sweatshirt underneath. She snorted, thinking over on how her dragon form couldn't even feel the cold.
It's because we have thicker skins than humans, Lanz.
The dragon within Lanz spoke, making her shiver a bit at the feeling that rippled through her body upon the whispered words being told. "Boy I wish I could be draconic right now.." She said under her breath, nearing the school door.
